Premijer Matteo Renzi u srijedu je predao svoju ostavku talijanskom predsjedniku nakon što su Talijani na referendumu održanom u nedjelju odbacili prijedlog reformi za koje se on zalagao.

Predsjednik Sergio Mattarella zamolio je Renzija da nastavi kao obnašatelj dužnosti dok on održi konzultacije s političkim strankama kako bi se odredili idući koraci, priopćeno je iz ureda predsjednika.

Konzultacije započinju u četvrtak poslijepodne, te će trajati do subote poslijepodne. Očekuje se da će nakon njih Mattarella zatražiti od nekog od članova Renzijevog kabineta ili njegove Demokratske stranke da pokušava formirati novu vladu.

Idući izbori u Italiji trebali bi se održati 2018., no mnogi političari pozivaju da se oni održe ranije.

Renzi je objavio da će dati ostavku u ponedjeljak, nakon teškog poraza na referendumu o ustavnim promjenama za koje se zauzimao.

Predsjednik Mattarella, čije ovlasti uključuju imenovanje premijera i raspuštanje parlamenta, zatražio je od Renzija da odgodi ostavku do prihvaćanja proračuna za 2017. u talijanskom parlamentu, što se u srijedu i dogodilo.

Na referendumu u nedjelju je gotovo 60 posto birača reklo "ne" Renzijevoj ustavnoj reformi koja je predviđala smanjenje ovlasti Senata i olakšavanje donošenja zakona ukidanjem obveze da se svi zakoni moraju odobriti u oba doma parlamenta.

Premijer Matteo Renzi u srijedu je predao svoju ostavku talijanskom predsjedniku nakon što su Talijani na referendumu održanom u nedjelju odbacili prijedlog reformi za koje se on zalagao.

Predsjednik Sergio Mattarella zamolio je Renzija da nastavi kao obnašatelj dužnosti dok on održi konzultacije s političkim strankama kako bi se odredili idući koraci, priopćeno je iz ureda predsjednika.

Konzultacije započinju u četvrtak poslijepodne, te će trajati do subote poslijepodne. Očekuje se da će nakon njih Mattarella zatražiti od nekog od članova Renzijevog kabineta ili njegove Demokratske stranke da pokušava formirati novu vladu.

Idući izbori u Italiji trebali bi se održati 2018., no mnogi političari pozivaju da se oni održe ranije.

Renzi je objavio da će dati ostavku u ponedjeljak, nakon teškog poraza na referendumu o ustavnim promjenama za koje se zauzimao.

Predsjednik Mattarella, čije ovlasti uključuju imenovanje premijera i raspuštanje parlamenta, zatražio je od Renzija da odgodi ostavku do prihvaćanja proračuna za 2017. u talijanskom parlamentu, što se u srijedu i dogodilo.

Na referendumu u nedjelju je gotovo 60 posto birača reklo "ne" Renzijevoj ustavnoj reformi koja je predviđala smanjenje ovlasti Senata i olakšavanje donošenja zakona ukidanjem obveze da se svi zakoni moraju odobriti u oba doma parlamenta.
