Španjolski socijalistički premijer Pedro Sanchez rekao je da će iduće četiri godine raditi na priznanju Palestine kao neovisne i suverene države ako u četvrtak dobije novi mandat na čelu Španjolske.

Njegova Španjolska socijalistička radnička stranka (PSOE) ovisi o podršci manjeg koalicijskog partnera Sumara, koji od premijera traži prekid diplomatskih odnosa s Izraelom, zabranu prodaje oružja toj bliskoistočnoj zemlji, te uvođenje gospodarskih sankcija.

"Nova vlada će raditi na priznanju palestinske države. Moja prva obveza tijekom ovog mandata bit će da međunarodna zajednica odobri Palestini status države jer je to pravedan zahtjev palestinskog naroda", izjavio je Sanchez u srijedu tijekom obraćanja u španjolskom parlamentu.

Dodao je da je priznanje Palestine jedino rješenje dugogodišnjeg izraelsko-palestinskog sukoba, kako bi se ispunila ranija inicijativa Ujedinjenih naroda o uspostavi dviju država, Izraela i Palestine.

Taj prijedlog rješenja je na stolu već godinama, no većina država priznaje samo Izrael ali ne i Palestinu. Sanchez je još krajem 2015., tijekom tadašnje predizborne kampanje, obećao priznati Palestinu ali to nije napravio. Aktualna izraelska vlada ne želi priznanje Palestine, te nastavlja vojnu operaciju u Pojasu Gaze.

"S istom odlučnošću kojom Španjolska pomaže napadnutoj Ukrajini protiv agresorske zemlje, Putinove Rusije, zbog kršenja međunarodnog prava, zahtijevamo od Izraela hitno primirje u Gazi i strogo poštivanje međunarodnog humanitarnog prava, koje se danas očito ne poštuje", rekao je Sanchez.

Primirje je potrebno kako bi se dostavila humanitarna pomoć teritoriju pod opsadom, na kojem je izraelska vojska u posljednjih mjesec dana ubila više od 11.000 civila, od čega polovicu djece, prema podacima palestinskih vlasti.

"Protivimo se neselektivnom ubijanju Palestinaca u Gazi i na Zapadnoj obali", izjavio je španjolski premijer.

U četvrtak će španjolski parlament, u kojem Sancheza podržava 179 od 350 zastupnika, glasati o njegovoj lijevoj vladi. Španjolska, koja trenutačno predsjeda EU-om, trebala bi tako dobiti novu vladu poslije izbora održanih u srpnju.

Nekoliko članova Sanchezove aktualne lijeve vlade došlo je u srijedu u parlament s istaknutim obilježjima solidarnosti s Palestincima.

Ministrica za socijalna pitanja Ione Belarra i Enrique Santiago, zastupnik lijeve skupine Sumar, sudjelovali su u raspravi ogrnuti palestinskim crno-bijelim maramama, "kufijama". Svaki od 31 zastupnika Sumara imao je zataknutu značku lubenice, što je također simbol otpora palestinskog naroda.

To voće je postalo simbol 1967. godine kada je Izrael kazneno progonio ljude koji su isticali palestinske zastave u Pojasu Gaze i na Zapadnoj obali, palestinskim teritorijima koje je tada okupirao. Slika lubenice korištena je kao način pobune protiv zabrane jer se boje tog voća podudaraju s onima palestinske zastave - zelenom, crvenom, crnom i bijelom. Voće je nošeno tijekom prosvjeda.

Lubenica se također trenutno koristi kao znak solidarnosti s Palestinom širom svijeta jer se o mogućoj zabrani isticanja palestinske zastave raspravljalo u nekoliko zemalja. U Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu, na primjer, vlada je predložila zabranu prosvjeda, iako mjera u konačnici nije provedena. Njemačka i Francuska također su ograničile prosvjede.

"Ovaj mandat će biti usmjeren na prekid barbarstva", poručio je preko društvenih mreža Sumar, manjinski partner u novoj španjolskoj vladi.

"Tražimo trenutačni prekid vatre, održavanje međunarodne konferencije o uspostavi palestinske države i odvođenje (izraelskog premijera) Netanyahua pred Međunarodni kazneni sud zbog genocida", rekao je Santiago, član Sumara.

Nakon što je Sanchez u parlamentu poručio da će se zalagati za priznanje Palestine, ministrica za socijalna pitanja poručila je da njegove riječi nisu dovoljne.

"Trebamo mnogo više od riječi da zaustavimo planirani genocid koji Izrael čini u Palestini. Prekinite diplomatske odnose, prestanite kupovati oružje, primijenite ekonomske sankcije. Udaljenost između tih riječi i nedjelovanja je bolna", napisala je Belarra preko društvene mreže X, bivšeg Twittera.

Španjolski socijalistički premijer Pedro Sanchez rekao je da će iduće četiri godine raditi na priznanju Palestine kao neovisne i suverene države ako u četvrtak dobije novi mandat na čelu Španjolske.

Njegova Španjolska socijalistička radnička stranka (PSOE) ovisi o podršci manjeg koalicijskog partnera Sumara, koji od premijera traži prekid diplomatskih odnosa s Izraelom, zabranu prodaje oružja toj bliskoistočnoj zemlji, te uvođenje gospodarskih sankcija.

"Nova vlada će raditi na priznanju palestinske države. Moja prva obveza tijekom ovog mandata bit će da međunarodna zajednica odobri Palestini status države jer je to pravedan zahtjev palestinskog naroda", izjavio je Sanchez u srijedu tijekom obraćanja u španjolskom parlamentu.

Dodao je da je priznanje Palestine jedino rješenje dugogodišnjeg izraelsko-palestinskog sukoba, kako bi se ispunila ranija inicijativa Ujedinjenih naroda o uspostavi dviju država, Izraela i Palestine.

Taj prijedlog rješenja je na stolu već godinama, no većina država priznaje samo Izrael ali ne i Palestinu. Sanchez je još krajem 2015., tijekom tadašnje predizborne kampanje, obećao priznati Palestinu ali to nije napravio. Aktualna izraelska vlada ne želi priznanje Palestine, te nastavlja vojnu operaciju u Pojasu Gaze.

"S istom odlučnošću kojom Španjolska pomaže napadnutoj Ukrajini protiv agresorske zemlje, Putinove Rusije, zbog kršenja međunarodnog prava, zahtijevamo od Izraela hitno primirje u Gazi i strogo poštivanje međunarodnog humanitarnog prava, koje se danas očito ne poštuje", rekao je Sanchez.

Primirje je potrebno kako bi se dostavila humanitarna pomoć teritoriju pod opsadom, na kojem je izraelska vojska u posljednjih mjesec dana ubila više od 11.000 civila, od čega polovicu djece, prema podacima palestinskih vlasti.

"Protivimo se neselektivnom ubijanju Palestinaca u Gazi i na Zapadnoj obali", izjavio je španjolski premijer.

U četvrtak će španjolski parlament, u kojem Sancheza podržava 179 od 350 zastupnika, glasati o njegovoj lijevoj vladi. Španjolska, koja trenutačno predsjeda EU-om, trebala bi tako dobiti novu vladu poslije izbora održanih u srpnju.

Nekoliko članova Sanchezove aktualne lijeve vlade došlo je u srijedu u parlament s istaknutim obilježjima solidarnosti s Palestincima.

Ministrica za socijalna pitanja Ione Belarra i Enrique Santiago, zastupnik lijeve skupine Sumar, sudjelovali su u raspravi ogrnuti palestinskim crno-bijelim maramama, "kufijama". Svaki od 31 zastupnika Sumara imao je zataknutu značku lubenice, što je također simbol otpora palestinskog naroda.

To voće je postalo simbol 1967. godine kada je Izrael kazneno progonio ljude koji su isticali palestinske zastave u Pojasu Gaze i na Zapadnoj obali, palestinskim teritorijima koje je tada okupirao. Slika lubenice korištena je kao način pobune protiv zabrane jer se boje tog voća podudaraju s onima palestinske zastave - zelenom, crvenom, crnom i bijelom. Voće je nošeno tijekom prosvjeda.

Lubenica se također trenutno koristi kao znak solidarnosti s Palestinom širom svijeta jer se o mogućoj zabrani isticanja palestinske zastave raspravljalo u nekoliko zemalja. U Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu, na primjer, vlada je predložila zabranu prosvjeda, iako mjera u konačnici nije provedena. Njemačka i Francuska također su ograničile prosvjede.

"Ovaj mandat će biti usmjeren na prekid barbarstva", poručio je preko društvenih mreža Sumar, manjinski partner u novoj španjolskoj vladi.

"Tražimo trenutačni prekid vatre, održavanje međunarodne konferencije o uspostavi palestinske države i odvođenje (izraelskog premijera) Netanyahua pred Međunarodni kazneni sud zbog genocida", rekao je Santiago, član Sumara.

Nakon što je Sanchez u parlamentu poručio da će se zalagati za priznanje Palestine, ministrica za socijalna pitanja poručila je da njegove riječi nisu dovoljne.

"Trebamo mnogo više od riječi da zaustavimo planirani genocid koji Izrael čini u Palestini. Prekinite diplomatske odnose, prestanite kupovati oružje, primijenite ekonomske sankcije. Udaljenost između tih riječi i nedjelovanja je bolna", napisala je Belarra preko društvene mreže X, bivšeg Twittera.

Španjolski socijalistički premijer Pedro Sanchez rekao je da će iduće četiri godine raditi na priznanju Palestine kao neovisne i suverene države ako u četvrtak dobije novi mandat na čelu Španjolske.

Njegova Španjolska socijalistička radnička stranka (PSOE) ovisi o podršci manjeg koalicijskog partnera Sumara, koji od premijera traži prekid diplomatskih odnosa s Izraelom, zabranu prodaje oružja toj bliskoistočnoj zemlji, te uvođenje gospodarskih sankcija.
