Rat u Ukrajini će dovesti do „najvećeg šoka u cijenama roba“ od sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, upozorila je Svjetska banka, prenosi N1.

U novoj prognozi, Svjetska banka navodi da će poremećaji uzrokovani sukobom u Ukrajini pridonijeti ogromnom porastu cijena za dobra od prirodnog plina pa sve do pšenice i pamuka. 

Porast cijena „počinje imati velike ekonomske i humanitarne posljedice,“ rekao je za BBC jedan od autora izvješća, Peter Nagle, dodajući da „kućanstva diljem svijeta osjećaju krizu životnog standarda.“  

„Pogotovo smo zabrinuti zbog najsiromašnijih kućanstava jer ona veliki dio svojih primanja troše na hranu i režije i prema tome su posebno ranjivi u ovom trenutku,“ kaže Nagle, viši ekonomist u Svjetskoj banci.  

Što s cijenama energenata?

Cijene energenata porast će više za 50 posto, što će se odraziti na računima za kućanstva i kompanije, kaže Svjetska banka.  

Najveći porast doživjet će cijena prirodnog plina u Europi, koja će narasti više nego dvostruko. Prognozira se da će cijene pasti sljedeće godine i 2024., ali čak i tada će ostati 15 posto više nego što su bile lani. 

To znači, kaže Svjetska banka, da smo od najnižih cijena u travnju 2020. do najviših u ožujku ove godine vidjeli „najveći porast cijena energenata u 23 mjeseca od eksplozije cijena nafte 1973., kada su cijene skočile zbog napetosti na Bliskom istoku. 

Također, očekuje se da će cijene nafte ostati na višim razinama 2024. Barel Brent Crude nafte stajat će u prosjeku sto dolara ove godine, što će dovesti do raširene inflacije.  

Rusija proizvodi otprilike 11 posto svjetskih zaliha nafte, što ju čini trećim najvećim proizvođačem, ali izvješće kaže da će „poremećaji  uzrokovani ratom imati dugoročne negativne posljedice“, jer sankcije znače da strane kompanije napuštaju zemlju i pristup tehnologiji postaje ograničen. 

Iz Rusije trenutno dolazi 40 posto kompletne opskrbe plinom za Europu i 27 posto nafte, ali europske vlade poduzimaju korake da postanu neovisni o ruskim energentima. Zbog toga su narasle globalne cijene, jer jača potražnja za opskrbom iz drugih zemalja.  

Prognoza Svjetske banke također upozorava da će poskupjeti hrana. UN-ov indeks cijena hrane već sad pokazuje da su one na najvećoj razini otkad je počelo mjerenje prije 60 godina.  

Cijena pšenice skočit će za 42.7 posto i dosegnuti najvišu cijenu ikad, mjereno u dolarima. Drugi značajni porasti biti će 33.3 posto za ječam, 20 posto za soju, 29.8 posto za ulja i 41.8 posto za piletinu. Ova povećanja posljedica su drastičnog pada izvoza iz Ukrajine i Rusije.  

Prije početka rata, te dvije zemlje bile su zaslužne za 28.9 globalnog izvoza pšenice prema podacima JP Morgana, kao i za 60 posto svjetske opskrbe suncokretovim uljem – ključnim sastojkom u mnogo vrsta procesuirane hrane – prema podacima S&P Globala. 

Cijene sirovina, uključujući gnojiva, metale i minerale, također će porasti. Cijene drva, čaja i riže su među rijetkima koje bi trebale pasti. 

„Pšenica je jedan od poljoprivrednih proizvoda koji je najteže zamijeniti,“ kaže istraživanje Američke banke. Istraživanje navodi da će loši vremenski uvjeti u sjevernoj Americi i Kini vjerojatno pridonijeti udaru koji je proizvelo smanjenje opskrbe iz Ukrajine, a to je nešto što će se nastaviti jer je rat poremetio proljetnu sezonu sadnje.  

I istraživanju se također navodi da je prijevoz žitarica i uljarica iz Ukrajine pao više od 80 posto zbog sukoba, a ta količina izgubljenog izvoza, tijekom godine, „jednaka je otprilike 10 dana globalne opskrbe hranom.“  

Hoće li cijene padati?

Glavni direktor Archer Daniels Midlanda, jednog od četiri najveća svjetska trgovca hranom, kaže da ne očekuje da će cijene uskoro pasti.  

Kada je ta američka tvrtka zabilježila 53 posto porasta neto zarade (ukupno 1.05 milijarde dolara) u prva tri mjeseca ove godine, Juan Luciano je rekao: „Očekujemo smanjenu opskrbu žitaricama – uzrokovanu slabom žetvom repice u Kanadi, slabu žetvu u južnoj Americi, i sada poremećajima u regiji na Crnom moru – i to će uzrokovati smanjenje na globalnom tržištu žitarica u sljedećih nekoliko godina.“  

Nagle iz Svjetske banke navodi da bi druge zemlje neko vrijeme mogle pomoći u rješavanju nedostatka uzrokovanog ratom u Ukrajini. Ipak, prognoza porasta cijena gnojiva za 60 posto ove godine znači da „ postoji stvaran rizik da će poljporivrednici početi koristiti manje gnojiva, što znači da će se urod smanjiti.“ 

Što se tiče robe općenito, izvješće Svjetske banke kaže: „Dok će cijene generalno dosegnuti vrhunac u 2022., očekuje se da će ostati više nego što je navedeno u ranijim prognozama.“  

U izvješću se dodaje da „izgledi za tržište roba jako ovise o trajanju rata u Ukrajini“ i poremećajima koje će on prouzročiti za opskrbne lance.

Rat u Ukrajini će dovesti do „najvećeg šoka u cijenama roba“ od sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, upozorila je Svjetska banka, prenosi N1.

U novoj prognozi, Svjetska banka navodi da će poremećaji uzrokovani sukobom u Ukrajini pridonijeti ogromnom porastu cijena za dobra od prirodnog plina pa sve do pšenice i pamuka. 

Porast cijena „počinje imati velike ekonomske i humanitarne posljedice,“ rekao je za BBC jedan od autora izvješća, Peter Nagle, dodajući da „kućanstva diljem svijeta osjećaju krizu životnog standarda.“  

„Pogotovo smo zabrinuti zbog najsiromašnijih kućanstava jer ona veliki dio svojih primanja troše na hranu i režije i prema tome su posebno ranjivi u ovom trenutku,“ kaže Nagle, viši ekonomist u Svjetskoj banci.  

Što s cijenama energenata?

Cijene energenata porast će više za 50 posto, što će se odraziti na računima za kućanstva i kompanije, kaže Svjetska banka.  

Najveći porast doživjet će cijena prirodnog plina u Europi, koja će narasti više nego dvostruko. Prognozira se da će cijene pasti sljedeće godine i 2024., ali čak i tada će ostati 15 posto više nego što su bile lani. 

To znači, kaže Svjetska banka, da smo od najnižih cijena u travnju 2020. do najviših u ožujku ove godine vidjeli „najveći porast cijena energenata u 23 mjeseca od eksplozije cijena nafte 1973., kada su cijene skočile zbog napetosti na Bliskom istoku. 

Također, očekuje se da će cijene nafte ostati na višim razinama 2024. Barel Brent Crude nafte stajat će u prosjeku sto dolara ove godine, što će dovesti do raširene inflacije.  

Rusija proizvodi otprilike 11 posto svjetskih zaliha nafte, što ju čini trećim najvećim proizvođačem, ali izvješće kaže da će „poremećaji  uzrokovani ratom imati dugoročne negativne posljedice“, jer sankcije znače da strane kompanije napuštaju zemlju i pristup tehnologiji postaje ograničen. 

Iz Rusije trenutno dolazi 40 posto kompletne opskrbe plinom za Europu i 27 posto nafte, ali europske vlade poduzimaju korake da postanu neovisni o ruskim energentima. Zbog toga su narasle globalne cijene, jer jača potražnja za opskrbom iz drugih zemalja.  

Prognoza Svjetske banke također upozorava da će poskupjeti hrana. UN-ov indeks cijena hrane već sad pokazuje da su one na najvećoj razini otkad je počelo mjerenje prije 60 godina.  

Cijena pšenice skočit će za 42.7 posto i dosegnuti najvišu cijenu ikad, mjereno u dolarima. Drugi značajni porasti biti će 33.3 posto za ječam, 20 posto za soju, 29.8 posto za ulja i 41.8 posto za piletinu. Ova povećanja posljedica su drastičnog pada izvoza iz Ukrajine i Rusije.  

Prije početka rata, te dvije zemlje bile su zaslužne za 28.9 globalnog izvoza pšenice prema podacima JP Morgana, kao i za 60 posto svjetske opskrbe suncokretovim uljem – ključnim sastojkom u mnogo vrsta procesuirane hrane – prema podacima S&P Globala. 

Cijene sirovina, uključujući gnojiva, metale i minerale, također će porasti. Cijene drva, čaja i riže su među rijetkima koje bi trebale pasti. 

„Pšenica je jedan od poljoprivrednih proizvoda koji je najteže zamijeniti,“ kaže istraživanje Američke banke. Istraživanje navodi da će loši vremenski uvjeti u sjevernoj Americi i Kini vjerojatno pridonijeti udaru koji je proizvelo smanjenje opskrbe iz Ukrajine, a to je nešto što će se nastaviti jer je rat poremetio proljetnu sezonu sadnje.  

I istraživanju se također navodi da je prijevoz žitarica i uljarica iz Ukrajine pao više od 80 posto zbog sukoba, a ta količina izgubljenog izvoza, tijekom godine, „jednaka je otprilike 10 dana globalne opskrbe hranom.“  

Hoće li cijene padati?

Glavni direktor Archer Daniels Midlanda, jednog od četiri najveća svjetska trgovca hranom, kaže da ne očekuje da će cijene uskoro pasti.  

Kada je ta američka tvrtka zabilježila 53 posto porasta neto zarade (ukupno 1.05 milijarde dolara) u prva tri mjeseca ove godine, Juan Luciano je rekao: „Očekujemo smanjenu opskrbu žitaricama – uzrokovanu slabom žetvom repice u Kanadi, slabu žetvu u južnoj Americi, i sada poremećajima u regiji na Crnom moru – i to će uzrokovati smanjenje na globalnom tržištu žitarica u sljedećih nekoliko godina.“  

Nagle iz Svjetske banke navodi da bi druge zemlje neko vrijeme mogle pomoći u rješavanju nedostatka uzrokovanog ratom u Ukrajini. Ipak, prognoza porasta cijena gnojiva za 60 posto ove godine znači da „ postoji stvaran rizik da će poljporivrednici početi koristiti manje gnojiva, što znači da će se urod smanjiti.“ 

Što se tiče robe općenito, izvješće Svjetske banke kaže: „Dok će cijene generalno dosegnuti vrhunac u 2022., očekuje se da će ostati više nego što je navedeno u ranijim prognozama.“  

U izvješću se dodaje da „izgledi za tržište roba jako ovise o trajanju rata u Ukrajini“ i poremećajima koje će on prouzročiti za opskrbne lance.

Rat u Ukrajini će dovesti do „najvećeg šoka u cijenama roba“ od sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, upozorila je Svjetska banka, prenosi N1.

U novoj prognozi, Svjetska banka navodi da će poremećaji uzrokovani sukobom u Ukrajini pridonijeti ogromnom porastu cijena za dobra od prirodnog plina pa sve do pšenice i pamuka. 

Porast cijena „počinje imati velike ekonomske i humanitarne posljedice,“ rekao je za BBC jedan od autora izvješća, Peter Nagle, dodajući da „kućanstva diljem svijeta osjećaju krizu životnog standarda.“  

„Pogotovo smo zabrinuti zbog najsiromašnijih kućanstava jer ona veliki dio svojih primanja troše na hranu i režije i prema tome su posebno ranjivi u ovom trenutku,“ kaže Nagle, viši ekonomist u Svjetskoj banci.
