"Iz onoga što sam pročitao o cjepivu shvaćam da se može čuvati na temperaturi koju održava redoviti hladnjak. To je, naravno, velika prednost, jer omogućuje dostavu cjepiva u zemlje u kojima postoji mnogo manje mogućnosti za skladištenje na ultraniskim temperaturama", rekao je Daniel Kuritzkes, voditelj odjela za zarazne bolesti na medicinskom fakultetu Sveučilišta Harvard, prenosi Russia Beyond.

Rekao je i da je "Sputnik V" jedan od preparata koji mogu dugoročno pomoći u konačnom stavljaju pod kontrolu situacije s pandemijom koronavirusa u svijetu. Dodao je da je ruski preparat po svojoj učinkovitosti usporediv s cjepivima Pfizera i Modernea te nadmašuje razvoj cjepiva AstraZenece i Johnson & Johnsona.

"U trećoj fazi ispitivanja njegova će učinkovitost vjerojatno iznositi 91,6%", rekao je Dean Winslow, specijalist za zarazne bolesti medicinskog centra Sveučilišta Stanford, komentirajući nedavni članak o "Sputniku V", objavljen u znanstvenom časopisu The Lancet. Dodao je da je taj pokazatelj nešto niži od onog kod američkih cjepiva (95%), no potvrdio je činjenicu da je ruski preparat lakše skladištiti, s obzirom na to da se radi o DNA, a ne RNA cjepivu. S njim se složio i Rodger MacArthur, specijalist za zarazne bolesti sa Sveučilišta Augusta.

Prema Ruskom fondu za izravna ulaganja, temperatura skladištenja "Sputnika V" kreće se od +2 do +8 stupnjeva Celzija. To mu omogućuje skladištenje i transport u uobičajenom hladnjaku bez potrebe za "hladnim lancem". Cjepivo Pfizera zahtijeva temperaturu od najmanje -70 stupnjeva, a Modernino cjepivo od najmanje -20 stupnjeva Celzija.

"Sputnik V", razvijen u Centru Gamaleja, prvo je registrirano cjepivo protiv koronavirusa na svijetu. Prema podacima Ruskog fonda za izravna ulaganja, lijek je trenutno registriran i u Bjelorusiji, Argentini, Boliviji, Srbiji, Alžiru, Palestini, Venezueli, Paragvaju, Turkmenistanu, Mađarskoj, Ujedinjenim Arapskim Emiratima, Iranu, Gvineji, Tunisu, Armeniji, Meksiku i Nikaragvi.

Institut "Gamaleja", tvorac prvog službeno registriranog ruskog cjepiva protiv koronavirusa, napokon je objavio rezultate sve tri faze kliničkih ispitivanja u renomiranom medicinskom časopisu The Lancet. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo ukupno 19 886 dobrovoljaca. U Rusiji je već počelo masovno cijepljenje "Sputnikom V", a u ovom je trenutku ovo cjepivo odobreno u još 15 zemalja. Evo što se na današnji dan sa sigurnošću zna o ovom cjepivu:

Razina antitijela na koronavirus kod cijepljenih osoba viša je 1,3 do 1,5 puta nego kod osoba koje su preležale infekciju koronavirusom.

Antitijela na koronavirus nakon cijepljenja potvrđena su kod 98% dobrovoljaca, a stanični imunitet kod svih sudionika ispitivanja.

U grupi osoba koje su primile cjepivo razboljelo se 16 ljudi, što je 0,1%. U grupi koja je primila placebo razboljela su se 62 čovjeka (1,3%). To znači da je prosječna učinkovitost cjepiva 91,6%. To je u nekoj mjeri niže od razine koju su tvorci cjepiva ranije spominjali, u drugoj fazi ispitivanja. Tada se govorilo o učinkovitosti od 95%.

Značajno je da je 1611 sudionika ispitivanja koji su primili cjepivo bilo starije od 60 godina (od njih gotovo polovica s pratećim oboljenjima) i da je učinkovitost cjepiva u toj grupi bila nešto viša od prosječne: 91,8%.

Pa ipak, cjepivo posjeduje 100% učinkovitost protiv srednje teškog i teškog oblika bolesti. Svi takvi slučajevi su se nakon 21. dana od trenutka cijepljenja pojavili u placebo grupi.

U grupi cijepljenih bilo je 45 slučajeva nuspojava, ali one nisu bile vezane za cijepljenje, potvrdio je neovisni odbor za praćenje podataka (IDMC).

Tijekom ispitivanja zabilježena su četiri smrtna slučaja: tri među cijepljenima i jedan u placebo grupi, no potvrđeno je da nijedna smrt nije bila posljedica cijepljenja. U cijepljenoj grupi pacijenti su se razboljeli 4. i 5. dana nakon prve injekcije. Istraživači su zaključili da su preminule osobe bile zaražene prije početka istraživanja, premda je PCR test bio negativan.

Ispitivanja su pokazala da se veći dio onih koji su bili cijepljeni, a ipak se razboljeli od koronavirusa, razbolio prije primanja druge doze (to je adenovirusno cjepivo koje se daje u dvije etape). To znači da je zaštita primjetna otprilike 16-18 dana nakon prve injekcije.

Nisu zabilježeni slučajevi alergijske reakcije ni anafilaktičkog šoka. Među neželjenim pojavama zabilježeni su sindromi prehlade, bol na mjestu uboda, glavobolja i opća slabost. Smatra se da su to umjerene i bezopasne nuspojave. Kod 94% cijepljenih one su imale laki oblik.

Što dalje?

Konačna analiza rezultata tek predstoji, s obzirom na to da je zasad razdoblje promatranja nakon prve injekcije bilo 48 dana. Ostaje ispratiti kako se "Sputnik V" ponaša dugoročno, 180 dana nakon cijepljenja. To istraživači tek trebaju utvrditi. Zasad je to nemoguće reći za bilo koje od postojećih cjepiva, navodi Ruski vijesnik.

"Iz onoga što sam pročitao o cjepivu shvaćam da se može čuvati na temperaturi koju održava redoviti hladnjak. To je, naravno, velika prednost, jer omogućuje dostavu cjepiva u zemlje u kojima postoji mnogo manje mogućnosti za skladištenje na ultraniskim temperaturama", rekao je Daniel Kuritzkes, voditelj odjela za zarazne bolesti na medicinskom fakultetu Sveučilišta Harvard, prenosi Russia Beyond.

Rekao je i da je "Sputnik V" jedan od preparata koji mogu dugoročno pomoći u konačnom stavljaju pod kontrolu situacije s pandemijom koronavirusa u svijetu. Dodao je da je ruski preparat po svojoj učinkovitosti usporediv s cjepivima Pfizera i Modernea te nadmašuje razvoj cjepiva AstraZenece i Johnson & Johnsona.

"U trećoj fazi ispitivanja njegova će učinkovitost vjerojatno iznositi 91,6%", rekao je Dean Winslow, specijalist za zarazne bolesti medicinskog centra Sveučilišta Stanford, komentirajući nedavni članak o "Sputniku V", objavljen u znanstvenom časopisu The Lancet. Dodao je da je taj pokazatelj nešto niži od onog kod američkih cjepiva (95%), no potvrdio je činjenicu da je ruski preparat lakše skladištiti, s obzirom na to da se radi o DNA, a ne RNA cjepivu. S njim se složio i Rodger MacArthur, specijalist za zarazne bolesti sa Sveučilišta Augusta.

Prema Ruskom fondu za izravna ulaganja, temperatura skladištenja "Sputnika V" kreće se od +2 do +8 stupnjeva Celzija. To mu omogućuje skladištenje i transport u uobičajenom hladnjaku bez potrebe za "hladnim lancem". Cjepivo Pfizera zahtijeva temperaturu od najmanje -70 stupnjeva, a Modernino cjepivo od najmanje -20 stupnjeva Celzija.

"Sputnik V", razvijen u Centru Gamaleja, prvo je registrirano cjepivo protiv koronavirusa na svijetu. Prema podacima Ruskog fonda za izravna ulaganja, lijek je trenutno registriran i u Bjelorusiji, Argentini, Boliviji, Srbiji, Alžiru, Palestini, Venezueli, Paragvaju, Turkmenistanu, Mađarskoj, Ujedinjenim Arapskim Emiratima, Iranu, Gvineji, Tunisu, Armeniji, Meksiku i Nikaragvi.

Institut "Gamaleja", tvorac prvog službeno registriranog ruskog cjepiva protiv koronavirusa, napokon je objavio rezultate sve tri faze kliničkih ispitivanja u renomiranom medicinskom časopisu The Lancet. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo ukupno 19 886 dobrovoljaca. U Rusiji je već počelo masovno cijepljenje "Sputnikom V", a u ovom je trenutku ovo cjepivo odobreno u još 15 zemalja. Evo što se na današnji dan sa sigurnošću zna o ovom cjepivu:

Razina antitijela na koronavirus kod cijepljenih osoba viša je 1,3 do 1,5 puta nego kod osoba koje su preležale infekciju koronavirusom.

Antitijela na koronavirus nakon cijepljenja potvrđena su kod 98% dobrovoljaca, a stanični imunitet kod svih sudionika ispitivanja.

U grupi osoba koje su primile cjepivo razboljelo se 16 ljudi, što je 0,1%. U grupi koja je primila placebo razboljela su se 62 čovjeka (1,3%). To znači da je prosječna učinkovitost cjepiva 91,6%. To je u nekoj mjeri niže od razine koju su tvorci cjepiva ranije spominjali, u drugoj fazi ispitivanja. Tada se govorilo o učinkovitosti od 95%.

Značajno je da je 1611 sudionika ispitivanja koji su primili cjepivo bilo starije od 60 godina (od njih gotovo polovica s pratećim oboljenjima) i da je učinkovitost cjepiva u toj grupi bila nešto viša od prosječne: 91,8%.

Pa ipak, cjepivo posjeduje 100% učinkovitost protiv srednje teškog i teškog oblika bolesti. Svi takvi slučajevi su se nakon 21. dana od trenutka cijepljenja pojavili u placebo grupi.

U grupi cijepljenih bilo je 45 slučajeva nuspojava, ali one nisu bile vezane za cijepljenje, potvrdio je neovisni odbor za praćenje podataka (IDMC).

Tijekom ispitivanja zabilježena su četiri smrtna slučaja: tri među cijepljenima i jedan u placebo grupi, no potvrđeno je da nijedna smrt nije bila posljedica cijepljenja. U cijepljenoj grupi pacijenti su se razboljeli 4. i 5. dana nakon prve injekcije. Istraživači su zaključili da su preminule osobe bile zaražene prije početka istraživanja, premda je PCR test bio negativan.

Ispitivanja su pokazala da se veći dio onih koji su bili cijepljeni, a ipak se razboljeli od koronavirusa, razbolio prije primanja druge doze (to je adenovirusno cjepivo koje se daje u dvije etape). To znači da je zaštita primjetna otprilike 16-18 dana nakon prve injekcije.

Nisu zabilježeni slučajevi alergijske reakcije ni anafilaktičkog šoka. Među neželjenim pojavama zabilježeni su sindromi prehlade, bol na mjestu uboda, glavobolja i opća slabost. Smatra se da su to umjerene i bezopasne nuspojave. Kod 94% cijepljenih one su imale laki oblik.

Što dalje?

Konačna analiza rezultata tek predstoji, s obzirom na to da je zasad razdoblje promatranja nakon prve injekcije bilo 48 dana. Ostaje ispratiti kako se "Sputnik V" ponaša dugoročno, 180 dana nakon cijepljenja. To istraživači tek trebaju utvrditi. Zasad je to nemoguće reći za bilo koje od postojećih cjepiva, navodi Ruski vijesnik.

"Iz onoga što sam pročitao o cjepivu shvaćam da se može čuvati na temperaturi koju održava redoviti hladnjak. To je, naravno, velika prednost, jer omogućuje dostavu cjepiva u zemlje u kojima postoji mnogo manje mogućnosti za skladištenje na ultraniskim temperaturama", rekao je Daniel Kuritzkes, voditelj odjela za zarazne bolesti na medicinskom fakultetu Sveučilišta Harvard, prenosi Russia Beyond.

Rekao je i da je "Sputnik V" jedan od preparata koji mogu dugoročno pomoći u konačnom stavljaju pod kontrolu situacije s pandemijom koronavirusa u svijetu. Dodao je da je ruski preparat po svojoj učinkovitosti usporediv s cjepivima Pfizera i Modernea te nadmašuje razvoj cjepiva AstraZenece i Johnson & Johnsona.
