Stručnjaci za zdravlje životinja rekli su u srijedu da bi pas u karanteni Hongkonžanina zaraženog koronavirusom mogao biti prvi slučaj prijenosa zaraze s ljudi na životinje, premda se slučaj još istražuje.

Pas je prema testu "blago pozitivan" na virus što naznačuje nisku razinu zaraze, priopćilo je hongkonško ministarstvo poljoprivrede, ribolova i zaštitu okoliša (AFCD).

"Ministarstvo će i dalje pratiti psa ... i ponoviti test kasnije. Bit će vraćen vlasniku kad rezultati testa budu negativni", kaže se u izjavi AFCD-a.

Na internetskoj stranici Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) piše da dosad nije bilo dokaza da psi mogu biti zaraženi koronavirusom.

Stručnjaci koji istražuju hongkonški slučaj rekli su da vlasnici ljubimaca ne bi trebali biti previše zabrinuti i ne napuštati svoje ljubimce.

AFCD je rekao da će obaviti daljnje testove kako bi se potvrdilo je li pas bio zaražen koronavirusom. Rekli su da nema dokaza da bi ljubimci mogli biti izvor zaraze.

Hong Kong ima 103 potvrđena slučaja koronavirusa, s dva smrtna ishoda. Zbog straha od širenja zaraze zatvoreni su trgovački centri i restorani, mnogi radnici rade od kuće, škole su zatvorene najmanje do sredine travnja.

Virus se širi diljem svijeta, teško su pogođeni Južna Koreja te Iran i Italija najteže od svih europskih zemalja, a nekoliko država prijavilo je svoje prve potvrđene slučajeve. Ukupno je oko 80 država pogođeno bolešću sličnom gripi koja može izazvati upalu pluća.

Broj slučajeva u kopnenoj Kini, gdje je izbila prvotna zaraza u prosincu, dosegao je 80.270, a broj umrlih do 3. ožujka 2981.

Stručnjaci za zdravlje životinja rekli su u srijedu da bi pas u karanteni Hongkonžanina zaraženog koronavirusom mogao biti prvi slučaj prijenosa zaraze s ljudi na životinje, premda se slučaj još istražuje.

Pas je prema testu "blago pozitivan" na virus što naznačuje nisku razinu zaraze, priopćilo je hongkonško ministarstvo poljoprivrede, ribolova i zaštitu okoliša (AFCD).

"Ministarstvo će i dalje pratiti psa ... i ponoviti test kasnije. Bit će vraćen vlasniku kad rezultati testa budu negativni", kaže se u izjavi AFCD-a.

Na internetskoj stranici Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) piše da dosad nije bilo dokaza da psi mogu biti zaraženi koronavirusom.

Stručnjaci koji istražuju hongkonški slučaj rekli su da vlasnici ljubimaca ne bi trebali biti previše zabrinuti i ne napuštati svoje ljubimce.

AFCD je rekao da će obaviti daljnje testove kako bi se potvrdilo je li pas bio zaražen koronavirusom. Rekli su da nema dokaza da bi ljubimci mogli biti izvor zaraze.

Hong Kong ima 103 potvrđena slučaja koronavirusa, s dva smrtna ishoda. Zbog straha od širenja zaraze zatvoreni su trgovački centri i restorani, mnogi radnici rade od kuće, škole su zatvorene najmanje do sredine travnja.

Virus se širi diljem svijeta, teško su pogođeni Južna Koreja te Iran i Italija najteže od svih europskih zemalja, a nekoliko država prijavilo je svoje prve potvrđene slučajeve. Ukupno je oko 80 država pogođeno bolešću sličnom gripi koja može izazvati upalu pluća.

Broj slučajeva u kopnenoj Kini, gdje je izbila prvotna zaraza u prosincu, dosegao je 80.270, a broj umrlih do 3. ožujka 2981.
