Povlačenje Rusa iz grada Hersona i polovice istoimene regije svakako predstavlja još dublji, makar ne i konačni, pad Vladimira Putina u devetom mjesecu agresije na Ukrajinu. Herson je bio jedini glavni grad regija koji je Rusija uspjela zauzeti i ukrajinska je kapija prema Krimu i Azovskom moru. Rusko povlačenje s ovog područja izgledalo je još prije par mjeseci nedosanjani ukrajinski san, a postalo je itekakva stvarnost, ali još ne i za sve Ukrajince koji u obližnjem okruženju žive.

Rusija je naredila svojim trupama da napuste zapadnu obalu rijeke Dnjepar samo par sati nakon što je Jevgen Gamij sretno pobjegao od artiljerijske vatre na njenoj istočnoj obali. Riječ je o 51-godišnjem vlasniku posljednjeg traktora koji još  funkcionira u Stepnogirsku, jednom od posljednjih naseljenih sela prije ruskih položaja na istočnoj polovici južnog bojišta. Gamij traktorom dovlači vodu iz obližnjeg izvora do stanovnika koji se kriju u seoskim podrumima.

Rat dronovima oko Zaporižja

Čovjek svih zanata na vlastitoj je koži osjetio kako se Rusi još uvijek osjećaju ugodno s njegove strane rijeke Dnjipro, piše u svojoj reportaži Agencija France Press. Zasuli su ga projektilima tipa Grad upravo jutros dok je vozio traktor, i jedan je golemi šrapnel još u njegovoj prikolici, veličine štruce kruha.

Glavna ukrajinska rijeka pretvara se u prirodnu obranu Putinovih trupa od ukrajinske ofenzive. Gotovo cijela zaporiška regija sa selom Stepnogirska nedostižno je udaljena od Hersona i ukrajinske vojske samo zbog obala golemoga Dnjepra koje između njih fatalno zijevaju.

Seljani su većinu dana pod zemljom

Rusi se od prvih dana rata skrivaju u poljima udaljenima samo nekoliko kilometara južno od sela. Seljani Stepnogirska svakodnevno promatraju kako se zaraćene vojske gađaju raketama iznad njihovih glava, duž potpuno zamrznute fronte. Oko tisuću i pol preostalih stanovnika ovdje prisiljeno je većinu svojih dana provesti ispod zemlje.

"Slušamo o zadnjim događajima u Hersonu", tvrdi 58-godišnja inženjerka Ljudmila Okopna, „i stalno mislimo da će dečki početi napredovati i u našem smjeru. Ali to se ne događa, naša fronta se još nije pomaknula." Stanovnike Stepnogirska dodatno brine kako će Ukrajina morati potpuno zaustaviti svoju protuofenzivu kada u nadolazećim tjednima počne padati snijeg.

Mještani s ljubimcima

"Ako rat iznenada prestane, živjet ćemo isti život kao ljudi u Donjecku posljednjih osam godina", rekao je novinarima svoje bojazni jedan 62-godišnjak. Pobuna simpatizera Kremlja na istoku Ukrajine 2014. pretvorila se u dugogodišnji sukob niskih razmjera u kojem su tisuće ljudi umrle a da zemlja nije nijednom prešla iz ruke u ruku.

Još jedna briga ljudi oko Zaporižja je kamo će Rusi ići nakon Hersona. Debakl u Hersonu mogao bi baš njihovu industrijsku i poljoprivrednu regiju koja se proteže južno sve do Azovskog mora pretvoriti u Putinov glavni ratni uspjeh, premda nijedan dio tog područja prije rata nije bio pod kontrolom Kremlja.

Istočna obala Dnjepra je ni na nebu, ni na zemlji

Nisu ratne brige o životu i smrti, međutim, jedine koje pritišću ove jadne ljude. Jevgen Gamij je digao kredit u banci neposredno prije rata kako bi kupio svoj traktor. Plan mu je bio da zaradom od obrade seoskih polja plaća rate, no u tome ga je posve osujetila Putinova invazija. Nevolja je, međutim, što banka želi traktor natrag. Rat ne priznaju kao valjan izgovor za nepodmirenje obveza.

Povlačenje Rusa iz grada Hersona i polovice istoimene regije svakako predstavlja još dublji, makar ne i konačni, pad Vladimira Putina u devetom mjesecu agresije na Ukrajinu. Herson je bio jedini glavni grad regija koji je Rusija uspjela zauzeti i ukrajinska je kapija prema Krimu i Azovskom moru. Rusko povlačenje s ovog područja izgledalo je još prije par mjeseci nedosanjani ukrajinski san, a postalo je itekakva stvarnost, ali još ne i za sve Ukrajince koji u obližnjem okruženju žive.

Rusija je naredila svojim trupama da napuste zapadnu obalu rijeke Dnjepar samo par sati nakon što je Jevgen Gamij sretno pobjegao od artiljerijske vatre na njenoj istočnoj obali. Riječ je o 51-godišnjem vlasniku posljednjeg traktora koji još  funkcionira u Stepnogirsku, jednom od posljednjih naseljenih sela prije ruskih položaja na istočnoj polovici južnog bojišta. Gamij traktorom dovlači vodu iz obližnjeg izvora do stanovnika koji se kriju u seoskim podrumima.

Čovjek svih zanata na vlastitoj je koži osjetio kako se Rusi još uvijek osjećaju ugodno s njegove strane rijeke Dnjipro, piše u svojoj reportaži Agencija France Press. Zasuli su ga projektilima tipa Grad upravo jutros dok je vozio traktor, i jedan je golemi šrapnel još u njegovoj prikolici, veličine štruce kruha.

Glavna ukrajinska rijeka pretvara se u prirodnu obranu Putinovih trupa od ukrajinske ofenzive. Gotovo cijela zaporiška regija sa selom Stepnogirska nedostižno je udaljena od Hersona i ukrajinske vojske samo zbog obala golemoga Dnjepra koje između njih fatalno zijevaju.

Rusi se od prvih dana rata skrivaju u poljima udaljenima samo nekoliko kilometara južno od sela. Seljani Stepnogirska svakodnevno promatraju kako se zaraćene vojske gađaju raketama iznad njihovih glava, duž potpuno zamrznute fronte. Oko tisuću i pol preostalih stanovnika ovdje prisiljeno je većinu svojih dana provesti ispod zemlje.

"Slušamo o zadnjim događajima u Hersonu", tvrdi 58-godišnja inženjerka Ljudmila Okopna, „i stalno mislimo da će dečki početi napredovati i u našem smjeru. Ali to se ne događa, naša fronta se još nije pomaknula." Stanovnike Stepnogirska dodatno brine kako će Ukrajina morati potpuno zaustaviti svoju protuofenzivu kada u nadolazećim tjednima počne padati snijeg.

"Ako rat iznenada prestane, živjet ćemo isti život kao ljudi u Donjecku posljednjih osam godina", rekao je novinarima svoje bojazni jedan 62-godišnjak. Pobuna simpatizera Kremlja na istoku Ukrajine 2014. pretvorila se u dugogodišnji sukob niskih razmjera u kojem su tisuće ljudi umrle a da zemlja nije nijednom prešla iz ruke u ruku.

Još jedna briga ljudi oko Zaporižja je kamo će Rusi ići nakon Hersona. Debakl u Hersonu mogao bi baš njihovu industrijsku i poljoprivrednu regiju koja se proteže južno sve do Azovskog mora pretvoriti u Putinov glavni ratni uspjeh, premda nijedan dio tog područja prije rata nije bio pod kontrolom Kremlja.

Nisu ratne brige o životu i smrti, međutim, jedine koje pritišću ove jadne ljude. Jevgen Gamij je digao kredit u banci neposredno prije rata kako bi kupio svoj traktor. Plan mu je bio da zaradom od obrade seoskih polja plaća rate, no u tome ga je posve osujetila Putinova invazija. Nevolja je, međutim, što banka želi traktor natrag. Rat ne priznaju kao valjan izgovor za nepodmirenje obveza.
