Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) preporučila je u utorak da se Modernino cjepivo protiv covida-19 ubrizgava u dvije doze u razmaku od 28 dana, odnosno najviše 42 dana u izuzetnim okolnostima.
WHO-ova Strateška stručna savjetodavna skupina za imunizacije (skraćeno SAGE) objavila je niz preporuka za cjepivo Moderne kao što je prije nekoliko tjedana učinila za Pfizerovo.
Preporuka je da se Modernino cjepivo ne primjenjuje na trudnice, osim ako su trudnice zdravstvene radnice izložene virusu ili su takvog zdravstvenog stanja da su visokorizične na virus.
"Glavna preporuka za cjepivo, a na temelju sadašnjih elemenata, jest da se ubrizgava u dozama od 100 mikrograma ili 0,5 ml u razmaku do 28 dana", rekao je predsjedavajući SAGE-a Alejandro Cravioto novinarima u Ženevi.
"Taj bi se razmak mogao protegnuti na 42 dana, ali prema dokazima kojima raspolažemo ne više od toga", rekao je.
WHO-ova ravnateljica za imunizacije Kate O'Brien rekla je je da su potrebna klinička ispitivanja Moderninog cjepiva na trudnicama.
"Nema razloga vjerovati da bi mogao nastati problem s trudnoćom, jedino priznajemo da za sada takvim podacima ne raspolažemo", rekla je.
WHO-a je također objavio da će preporuke za cjepivo AstraZenece vjerojatno dati 8. veljače.
Nove preporuke za liječenje bolesnih od covida-19
WHO je u utorak objavio i nove kliničke savjete za postupanje s pacijentima oboljelima od covida-19, uključivo one koji imaju simptome i nakon oporavka. Stručnjaci između ostalog savjetuju korištenje niskih doza antikoagulansa kako bi se spriječili krvni ugrušci.
"Preporučujemo niske doze antikoagulansa kako bi se spriječilo stvaranje krvnih ugrušaka. Preporučujemo niske doze jer visoke bi mogle prouzročiti druge tegobe", kazala je glasnogovornica WHO-a Margaret Harris na briefingu u Ženevi.
"Druga smjernica za pacijente oboljele od covida jest da u kući imaju oksimetar za mjerenje razine kisika u krvi i pulsa kako bi mogli procijeniti u slučaju pogoršanja da je potrebno bolničko liječenje", dodala je.
WHO nadalje savjetuje medicinskim radnicima da pacijente postavljaju u položaj koji poboljšava protok kisika, potrbuške.
Na konferenciji za novinare Harris je izvijestila da će za dva dana iz karantene izaći skupina neovisnih stručnjaka koja je pod vodstvom WHO-a doputovala u kineski grad Wuhan kako bi istražila porijeklo virusa koji se prvi put, koliko je dosad poznato, pojavio u tom gradu u prosincu 2019.
Odbila je komentirati izvješća o kašnjenju početka cijepljenja u Europskoj uniji. Rekla je da o tome nema specifičnih podataka i da je WHO-u prioritet sada da zdravstveni djelatnici u svim zemljama budu cijepljeni u prvih 100 dana ove godine.
Farmaceutski div AstraZeneca, koji je svoje cjepivo protiv covida-19 razvio u suradnji s britanskim sveučilištem Oxford, rekao je Europskoj uniji u petak da neće moći do kraja ožujka ispuniti dogovorene isporuke.

Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) preporučila je u utorak da se Modernino cjepivo protiv covida-19 ubrizgava u dvije doze u razmaku od 28 dana, odnosno najviše 42 dana u izuzetnim okolnostima.
WHO-ova Strateška stručna savjetodavna skupina za imunizacije (skraćeno SAGE) objavila je niz preporuka za cjepivo Moderne kao što je prije nekoliko tjedana učinila za Pfizerovo.
Preporuka je da se Modernino cjepivo ne primjenjuje na trudnice, osim ako su trudnice zdravstvene radnice izložene virusu ili su takvog zdravstvenog stanja da su visokorizične na virus.
"Glavna preporuka za cjepivo, a na temelju sadašnjih elemenata, jest da se ubrizgava u dozama od 100 mikrograma ili 0,5 ml u razmaku do 28 dana", rekao je predsjedavajući SAGE-a Alejandro Cravioto novinarima u Ženevi.
"Taj bi se razmak mogao protegnuti na 42 dana, ali prema dokazima kojima raspolažemo ne više od toga", rekao je.
WHO-ova ravnateljica za imunizacije Kate O'Brien rekla je je da su potrebna klinička ispitivanja Moderninog cjepiva na trudnicama.
"Nema razloga vjerovati da bi mogao nastati problem s trudnoćom, jedino priznajemo da za sada takvim podacima ne raspolažemo", rekla je.
WHO-a je također objavio da će preporuke za cjepivo AstraZenece vjerojatno dati 8. veljače.
Nove preporuke za liječenje bolesnih od covida-19
WHO je u utorak objavio i nove kliničke savjete za postupanje s pacijentima oboljelima od covida-19, uključivo one koji imaju simptome i nakon oporavka. Stručnjaci između ostalog savjetuju korištenje niskih doza antikoagulansa kako bi se spriječili krvni ugrušci.

"Druga smjernica za pacijente oboljele od covida jest da u kući imaju oksimetar za mjerenje razine kisika u krvi i pulsa kako bi mogli procijeniti u slučaju pogoršanja da je potrebno bolničko liječenje", dodala je.
WHO nadalje savjetuje medicinskim radnicima da pacijente postavljaju u položaj koji poboljšava protok kisika, potrbuške.
Na konferenciji za novinare Harris je izvijestila da će za dva dana iz karantene izaći skupina neovisnih stručnjaka koja je pod vodstvom WHO-a doputovala u kineski grad Wuhan kako bi istražila porijeklo virusa koji se prvi put, koliko je dosad poznato, pojavio u tom gradu u prosincu 2019.
Odbila je komentirati izvješća o kašnjenju početka cijepljenja u Europskoj uniji. Rekla je da o tome nema specifičnih podataka i da je WHO-u prioritet sada da zdravstveni djelatnici u svim zemljama budu cijepljeni u prvih 100 dana ove godine.
Farmaceutski div AstraZeneca, koji je svoje cjepivo protiv covida-19 razvio u suradnji s britanskim sveučilištem Oxford, rekao je Europskoj uniji u petak da neće moći do kraja ožujka ispuniti dogovorene isporuke.
