Etnološki odjel Narodnog muzeja Zadar organizira tijekom svibnja i lipnja plesnu radionicu Sibenskog tanca. Umijeće Sibenskog tanca zaštićeno je nematerijalno kulturno dobro koje svoju primjenu može naći i kroz suvremeni izričaj.
Sibenski tanac jedinstven je i najstariji ples na otoku Silbi. Na otoku se kaže tancati, balati ili igrati za plesati.
Prema kazivanjima Sibenski tanac igrao se na plesnim priredbama, osobito nedjeljama, na crkvene blagdane te poslije mise, prigodom ženidbe, u kući mlade ili u seoskoj dvorani; na pokladni utorak, na otvorenom, na mjesnom trgu, oko slamnatog karnevala.
Prema strukturi prostornog oblikovanja, odnosno, kretanju izvođača, Sibenski tanac sastoji se od dva dijela. U prvome se u parovima obilazi prostor uz promjene smjera kretanja, a u drugom dijelu pleše se u dva reda, muškarci nasuprot žena. Stil se odlikuje gracioznošću te finim i dostojanstvenim, mirnim plesanjem.
Nositelji Sibenskog tanca stanovnici su otoka Silbe. Organizirano djeluju u Izvornoj folklornoj skupini (IFS) Silba.
Sibenski tanac osobita je lokalna suvrstica parovnih otočnih tanaca, stariji sloj žive plesne tradicije i važan simbol identiteta stanovnika Silbe. Njegovim učenjem i prenošenjem na mlađe potaknula se rekonstrukcija nošnji, a svojim je osobitim stilom izvedbe poticajan i višeslojan izričaj za okupljanje bez ograničenja čime u potpunosti opravdava želju za daljnjim očuvanjem i javnim prepoznavanjem kulturnoga dobra na nacionalnoj razini.
Programima prezentacije i putem radionica nematerijalne zaštićene kulturne baštine Etnološki odjel Narodnog muzeja Zadar se pridružuje obilježavanju 20 godina donošenja UNESCO-ove Konvencije o zaštiti nematerijalne kulturne baštine (2003).

Radionicu Sibenskog tanca održat će Matilda Sindičić, članica IFS, Silba. Radionica će započeti predavanjem uz video projekciju Sibenskog tanca i analizom pojedinih plesnih figura.

Etnološki odjel Narodnog muzeja Zadar organizira tijekom svibnja i lipnja plesnu radionicu Sibenskog tanca. Umijeće Sibenskog tanca zaštićeno je nematerijalno kulturno dobro koje svoju primjenu može naći i kroz suvremeni izričaj.
Sibenski tanac jedinstven je i najstariji ples na otoku Silbi. Na otoku se kaže tancati, balati ili igrati za plesati.
Prema kazivanjima Sibenski tanac igrao se na plesnim priredbama, osobito nedjeljama, na crkvene blagdane te poslije mise, prigodom ženidbe, u kući mlade ili u seoskoj dvorani; na pokladni utorak, na otvorenom, na mjesnom trgu, oko slamnatog karnevala.
Prema strukturi prostornog oblikovanja, odnosno, kretanju izvođača, Sibenski tanac sastoji se od dva dijela. U prvome se u parovima obilazi prostor uz promjene smjera kretanja, a u drugom dijelu pleše se u dva reda, muškarci nasuprot žena. Stil se odlikuje gracioznošću te finim i dostojanstvenim, mirnim plesanjem.
Nositelji Sibenskog tanca stanovnici su otoka Silbe. Organizirano djeluju u Izvornoj folklornoj skupini (IFS) Silba.
Sibenski tanac osobita je lokalna suvrstica parovnih otočnih tanaca, stariji sloj žive plesne tradicije i važan simbol identiteta stanovnika Silbe. Njegovim učenjem i prenošenjem na mlađe potaknula se rekonstrukcija nošnji, a svojim je osobitim stilom izvedbe poticajan i višeslojan izričaj za okupljanje bez ograničenja čime u potpunosti opravdava želju za daljnjim očuvanjem i javnim prepoznavanjem kulturnoga dobra na nacionalnoj razini.
Programima prezentacije i putem radionica nematerijalne zaštićene kulturne baštine Etnološki odjel Narodnog muzeja Zadar se pridružuje obilježavanju 20 godina donošenja UNESCO-ove Konvencije o zaštiti nematerijalne kulturne baštine (2003).

Radionicu Sibenskog tanca održat će Matilda Sindičić, članica IFS, Silba. Radionica će započeti predavanjem uz video projekciju Sibenskog tanca i analizom pojedinih plesnih figura.
