U godini, u kojoj slavi 15 godina od otvorenja Muzej antičkog stakla u Zadru pokreće potpuno novu manifestaciju kao dar sebi, ali i svima koji vole staklo. Brojkom od više od pola milijuna posjetitelja u proteklih 15 godina, Muzej je pokazao da staklo u muzejskom konceptu, prvenstveno arheološkom, a tako i umjetničkom, nudi jednu novinu koja zanima javnost. Uz brojne izložbe antičkog stakla, ali i stakla kasnijih povijesnih razdoblja, Muzej je postao i mjesto susreta suvremenih umjetnika koji djeluju u mediju stakla. Vođeni željom da uz nove umjetničke koncepte i inspiracije, predstavljamo i nove tehnike u radu sa staklom kao umjetničkim medijem, predstavio se veliki broj i hrvatskih i stranih umjetnika u izložbenim dvoranama Muzeja. Protokom vremena te posredno boljim uvidom u hrvatsku umjetničku scenu, kroz brojne umjetničke suradnje i izložbe, ali i pozitivnom reakcijom publike na prezentaciju stakla kao umjetničkog medija, prirodno se razvila ideja o stavljanju fokusa na hrvatske umjetnike. S velikim ponosom i zadovoljstvom uz 15 godina rada Muzeja predstavljamo 1. hrvatski bijenale umjetničkog stakla i to pod okriljem institucije koja čuva zadarsko i hrvatsko antičko staklo staro preko 2000 godina.

Od ukupnog broja pristiglih prijava za 1. hrvatski bijenale umjetničkog stakla, za izložbu je selektiran čak 71 rad hrvatske suvremene umjetničke produkcije u staklu. Ova uistinu respektabilna količina radova pokazuje veliku želju umjetnika da predstave svoj rad u ovom umjetničkom mediju, ali pokazuje još nešto podjednako važno, želju Muzeja antičkog stakla da potakne, pomogne i unaprijedi tu umjetničku scenu. Upravo je ovo prvo izdanje zamišljeno kao revijalna skupna izložba, bez dodjele nagrada, u svrhu promocije i najave ove manifestacije, koja će već s drugim izdanjem 2026. godine donijeti isključivo nove radove u staklu.

Na ovoj velikoj skupnoj izložbi predstavljaju se tehničke mogućnosti izvedbe samog materijala uz bok originalnim konceptima umjetničkog djela. Uistinu su zastupljene brojne tehnike u radu sa

staklom, i topla i hladna obrada stakla, hibridni radovi uz druge materijale, ali i neki konceptualni kojima je staklo na neki način promotor temeljne ideje. Uz izložbu je izdan i veliki katalog na 144 stranice u kojem su publicirani svi selektirani radovi, uz umjetničke izjave i životopise autora. Autorica idejnog koncepta i kataloga te kustosica izložbe je Jadranka Belevski, muzejska savjetnica dokumentaristica.

Bijenalna forma ove jedinstvene manifestacije bit će izvrstan okvir i poticaj hrvatskim umjetnicima za rad u ovom mediju i svojevrsna sigurnost za promociju novih radova. Ako pogledamo odaziv umjetnika na natječaj za 1. hrvatski bijenale umjetničkog stakla, može se sa sigurnošću reći da je ovo niša koju je trebalo popuniti i da ovaj pilot projekt ima svijetlu budućnost!

U godini, u kojoj slavi 15 godina od otvorenja Muzej antičkog stakla u Zadru pokreće potpuno novu manifestaciju kao dar sebi, ali i svima koji vole staklo. Brojkom od više od pola milijuna posjetitelja u proteklih 15 godina, Muzej je pokazao da staklo u muzejskom konceptu, prvenstveno arheološkom, a tako i umjetničkom, nudi jednu novinu koja zanima javnost. Uz brojne izložbe antičkog stakla, ali i stakla kasnijih povijesnih razdoblja, Muzej je postao i mjesto susreta suvremenih umjetnika koji djeluju u mediju stakla. Vođeni željom da uz nove umjetničke koncepte i inspiracije, predstavljamo i nove tehnike u radu sa staklom kao umjetničkim medijem, predstavio se veliki broj i hrvatskih i stranih umjetnika u izložbenim dvoranama Muzeja. Protokom vremena te posredno boljim uvidom u hrvatsku umjetničku scenu, kroz brojne umjetničke suradnje i izložbe, ali i pozitivnom reakcijom publike na prezentaciju stakla kao umjetničkog medija, prirodno se razvila ideja o stavljanju fokusa na hrvatske umjetnike. S velikim ponosom i zadovoljstvom uz 15 godina rada Muzeja predstavljamo 1. hrvatski bijenale umjetničkog stakla i to pod okriljem institucije koja čuva zadarsko i hrvatsko antičko staklo staro preko 2000 godina.

Od ukupnog broja pristiglih prijava za 1. hrvatski bijenale umjetničkog stakla, za izložbu je selektiran čak 71 rad hrvatske suvremene umjetničke produkcije u staklu. Ova uistinu respektabilna količina radova pokazuje veliku želju umjetnika da predstave svoj rad u ovom umjetničkom mediju, ali pokazuje još nešto podjednako važno, želju Muzeja antičkog stakla da potakne, pomogne i unaprijedi tu umjetničku scenu. Upravo je ovo prvo izdanje zamišljeno kao revijalna skupna izložba, bez dodjele nagrada, u svrhu promocije i najave ove manifestacije, koja će već s drugim izdanjem 2026. godine donijeti isključivo nove radove u staklu.

Na ovoj velikoj skupnoj izložbi predstavljaju se tehničke mogućnosti izvedbe samog materijala uz bok originalnim konceptima umjetničkog djela. Uistinu su zastupljene brojne tehnike u radu sa

staklom, i topla i hladna obrada stakla, hibridni radovi uz druge materijale, ali i neki konceptualni kojima je staklo na neki način promotor temeljne ideje. Uz izložbu je izdan i veliki katalog na 144 stranice u kojem su publicirani svi selektirani radovi, uz umjetničke izjave i životopise autora. Autorica idejnog koncepta i kataloga te kustosica izložbe je Jadranka Belevski, muzejska savjetnica dokumentaristica.

Bijenalna forma ove jedinstvene manifestacije bit će izvrstan okvir i poticaj hrvatskim umjetnicima za rad u ovom mediju i svojevrsna sigurnost za promociju novih radova. Ako pogledamo odaziv umjetnika na natječaj za 1. hrvatski bijenale umjetničkog stakla, može se sa sigurnošću reći da je ovo niša koju je trebalo popuniti i da ovaj pilot projekt ima svijetlu budućnost!

U godini, u kojoj slavi 15 godina od otvorenja Muzej antičkog stakla u Zadru pokreće potpuno novu manifestaciju kao dar sebi, ali i svima koji vole staklo. Brojkom od više od pola milijuna posjetitelja u proteklih 15 godina, Muzej je pokazao da staklo u muzejskom konceptu, prvenstveno arheološkom, a tako i umjetničkom, nudi jednu novinu koja zanima javnost. Uz brojne izložbe antičkog stakla, ali i stakla kasnijih povijesnih razdoblja, Muzej je postao i mjesto susreta suvremenih umjetnika koji djeluju u mediju stakla. Vođeni željom da uz nove umjetničke koncepte i inspiracije, predstavljamo i nove tehnike u radu sa staklom kao umjetničkim medijem, predstavio se veliki broj i hrvatskih i stranih umjetnika u izložbenim dvoranama Muzeja. Protokom vremena te posredno boljim uvidom u hrvatsku umjetničku scenu, kroz brojne umjetničke suradnje i izložbe, ali i pozitivnom reakcijom publike na prezentaciju stakla kao umjetničkog medija, prirodno se razvila ideja o stavljanju fokusa na hrvatske umjetnike. S velikim ponosom i zadovoljstvom uz 15 godina rada Muzeja predstavljamo 1. hrvatski bijenale umjetničkog stakla i to pod okriljem institucije koja čuva zadarsko i hrvatsko antičko staklo staro preko 2000 godina.

Od ukupnog broja pristiglih prijava za 1. hrvatski bijenale umjetničkog stakla, za izložbu je selektiran čak 71 rad hrvatske suvremene umjetničke produkcije u staklu. Ova uistinu respektabilna količina radova pokazuje veliku želju umjetnika da predstave svoj rad u ovom umjetničkom mediju, ali pokazuje još nešto podjednako važno, želju Muzeja antičkog stakla da potakne, pomogne i unaprijedi tu umjetničku scenu.
