Nakon vala prosvjeda u subotu navečer zbog smrti Georgea Floyda, Afroamerikanca koji je, zbog brutalne policijske fizičke sile, umro tijekom policijskog privođenja u Minneapolisu, u brojnim gradovima uveden je policijski sat.

Tako su ga uveli i gradovi Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit i Washington, dok je jugozapadna država Arizona uvela za cijeli tjedan policijski sat u cijeloj državi nakon što su prosvjednici izišli na ulice i sukobili se s policijom, koja je upotrijebila suzavac i gumene metke.

Ograničenje kretanja koje će pogoditi milijune ljudi stupilo je na snagu istodobno s raspoređivanjem preko 5.000 propadnika Nacionalne garde, koji su aktivirani u 15 država i glavnom gradu kako bi dali potporu lokalnim snagama reda.

U nedjelju poslijepodne već su se stotine prosvjednika okupljale na više lokacija u Los Angelesu, uz nekoliko pljački u obližnjoj Santa Monici, kao naznaci novih sukoba.

U Minneapolisu, u kojem je prilikom privođenja Floyd izgubio život, jedna se cisterna s gorivom zabila u tisuće ljudi okupljene na prosvjedima na autocesti, pokazala je video snimka na društvenim mrežama.

Lokalne vlasti u Minneapolisu objavile su da je incident "bio uznemirujući", no da nije bilo ozlijeđenih među prosvjednicima, a da je vozač uhićen.

Mnoge lokalne vlasti bore se kako bi uravnoteženo odgovorile na, kako i same ističu, opravdani gnjev nakon Floydove smrti, dok istodobno osuđuju nasilje "gomile", navodeći da ono nije pitanje rasne pravde.

"Prošle noći smo vidjeli neke od najružnijih slika u našem prekrasnom gradu", kazao je gradonačelnik Los Angelesa Eric Garcetti. "Oni su oteli trenutak i pokret i promijenili razgovor", kazao je.

Provala bijesa diljem SAD-a protiv policijske brutalnosti prema Afroamerikancima čini se da je, u situaciji pandemije koronavirusa, pojačana nakupljenim frustracijama zbog pandemije, a također i objavljivanjem nizom videozapisa koji prikazuju maltretiranje Afroamerikanaca prilikom prosvjeda.

Predsjednik Donald Trump u svojoj je reakciji na nemire pozvao demokratske gradonačelnike i guvernere da pokažu "čvrstinu" optužujući istodobno Antifu, labavu mrežu ljudi koja često promiče krajnje ljevicu, za sijanje nemira.

On je u nedjelju najavio kako će proglasiti Antifu terorističkom organizacijom, iako se čini da predsjednik nema ovlasti za to.
Policija je u Los Angelesu objavila da je u nedjelju uhitila 400 prosvjednika.

Nemiri i prosvjedi potaknuli su i zabrinutost zbog masovnih okupljanja unatoč mjerama socijalne distance, koji bi mogli dovesti do pogoršanja krize u pandemiji koronavirusa.

Tijekom privođenja Georgea Floyda policajac koji ga je uhitio priklještio mu je vrat koljenom, zbog čega uhićenik nije mogao disati. Protiv policajca podignuta je optužba za ubojstvo.

Nakon vala prosvjeda u subotu navečer zbog smrti Georgea Floyda, Afroamerikanca koji je, zbog brutalne policijske fizičke sile, umro tijekom policijskog privođenja u Minneapolisu, u brojnim gradovima uveden je policijski sat.

Tako su ga uveli i gradovi Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit i Washington, dok je jugozapadna država Arizona uvela za cijeli tjedan policijski sat u cijeloj državi nakon što su prosvjednici izišli na ulice i sukobili se s policijom, koja je upotrijebila suzavac i gumene metke.

Ograničenje kretanja koje će pogoditi milijune ljudi stupilo je na snagu istodobno s raspoređivanjem preko 5.000 propadnika Nacionalne garde, koji su aktivirani u 15 država i glavnom gradu kako bi dali potporu lokalnim snagama reda.

U nedjelju poslijepodne već su se stotine prosvjednika okupljale na više lokacija u Los Angelesu, uz nekoliko pljački u obližnjoj Santa Monici, kao naznaci novih sukoba.

U Minneapolisu, u kojem je prilikom privođenja Floyd izgubio život, jedna se cisterna s gorivom zabila u tisuće ljudi okupljene na prosvjedima na autocesti, pokazala je video snimka na društvenim mrežama.

Lokalne vlasti u Minneapolisu objavile su da je incident "bio uznemirujući", no da nije bilo ozlijeđenih među prosvjednicima, a da je vozač uhićen.

Mnoge lokalne vlasti bore se kako bi uravnoteženo odgovorile na, kako i same ističu, opravdani gnjev nakon Floydove smrti, dok istodobno osuđuju nasilje "gomile", navodeći da ono nije pitanje rasne pravde.

"Prošle noći smo vidjeli neke od najružnijih slika u našem prekrasnom gradu", kazao je gradonačelnik Los Angelesa Eric Garcetti. "Oni su oteli trenutak i pokret i promijenili razgovor", kazao je.

Provala bijesa diljem SAD-a protiv policijske brutalnosti prema Afroamerikancima čini se da je, u situaciji pandemije koronavirusa, pojačana nakupljenim frustracijama zbog pandemije, a također i objavljivanjem nizom videozapisa koji prikazuju maltretiranje Afroamerikanaca prilikom prosvjeda.

Predsjednik Donald Trump u svojoj je reakciji na nemire pozvao demokratske gradonačelnike i guvernere da pokažu "čvrstinu" optužujući istodobno Antifu, labavu mrežu ljudi koja često promiče krajnje ljevicu, za sijanje nemira.

On je u nedjelju najavio kako će proglasiti Antifu terorističkom organizacijom, iako se čini da predsjednik nema ovlasti za to.
Policija je u Los Angelesu objavila da je u nedjelju uhitila 400 prosvjednika.

Nemiri i prosvjedi potaknuli su i zabrinutost zbog masovnih okupljanja unatoč mjerama socijalne distance, koji bi mogli dovesti do pogoršanja krize u pandemiji koronavirusa.

Tijekom privođenja Georgea Floyda policajac koji ga je uhitio priklještio mu je vrat koljenom, zbog čega uhićenik nije mogao disati. Protiv policajca podignuta je optužba za ubojstvo.

Američki gradovi zbog nereda produljili policijski sat, raspoređuju vojsku

Nakon vala prosvjeda u subotu navečer zbog smrti Georgea Floyda, Afroamerikanca koji je, zbog brutalne policijske fizičke sile, umro tijekom policijskog privođenja u Minneapolisu, u brojnim gradovima uveden je policijski sat.

Tako su ga uveli i gradovi Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit i Washington, dok je jugozapadna država Arizona uvela za cijeli tjedan policijski sat u cijeloj državi nakon što su prosvjednici izišli na ulice i sukobili se s policijom, koja je upotrijebila suzavac i gumene metke.

Ograničenje kretanja koje će pogoditi milijune ljudi stupilo je na snagu istodobno s raspoređivanjem preko 5.000 propadnika Nacionalne garde, koji su aktivirani u 15 država i glavnom gradu kako bi dali potporu lokalnim snagama reda.

U nedjelju poslijepodne već su se stotine prosvjednika okupljale na više lokacija u Los Angelesu, uz nekoliko pljački u obližnjoj Santa Monici, kao naznaci novih sukoba.

U Minneapolisu, u kojem je prilikom privođenja Floyd izgubio život, jedna se cisterna s gorivom zabila u tisuće ljudi okupljene na prosvjedima na autocesti, pokazala je video snimka na društvenim mrežama.

Lokalne vlasti u Minneapolisu objavile su da je incident "bio uznemirujući", no da nije bilo ozlijeđenih među prosvjednicima, a da je vozač uhićen.

Mnoge lokalne vlasti bore se kako bi uravnoteženo odgovorile na, kako i same ističu, opravdani gnjev nakon Floydove smrti, dok istodobno osuđuju nasilje "gomile", navodeći da ono nije pitanje rasne pravde.

"Prošle noći smo vidjeli neke od najružnijih slika u našem prekrasnom gradu", kazao je gradonačelnik Los Angelesa Eric Garcetti. "Oni su oteli trenutak i pokret i promijenili razgovor", kazao je.

Provala bijesa diljem SAD-a protiv policijske brutalnosti prema Afroamerikancima čini se da je, u situaciji pandemije koronavirusa, pojačana nakupljenim frustracijama zbog pandemije, a također i objavljivanjem nizom videozapisa koji prikazuju maltretiranje Afroamerikanaca prilikom prosvjeda.

Predsjednik Donald Trump u svojoj je reakciji na nemire pozvao demokratske gradonačelnike i guvernere da pokažu "čvrstinu" optužujući istodobno Antifu, labavu mrežu ljudi koja često promiče krajnje ljevicu, za sijanje nemira.

On je u nedjelju najavio kako će proglasiti Antifu terorističkom organizacijom, iako se čini da predsjednik nema ovlasti za to.
Policija je u Los Angelesu objavila da je u nedjelju uhitila 400 prosvjednika.

Nemiri i prosvjedi potaknuli su i zabrinutost zbog masovnih okupljanja unatoč mjerama socijalne distance, koji bi mogli dovesti do pogoršanja krize u pandemiji koronavirusa.

Tijekom privođenja Georgea Floyda policajac koji ga je uhitio priklještio mu je vrat koljenom, zbog čega uhićenik nije mogao disati. Protiv policajca podignuta je optužba za ubojstvo.
