Nakon što se poznata američka trgovina Walmart pristala nagoditi na iznos od 45 milijuna dolara uslijed tužbe u kojoj su je potrošači optužili da je godinama varala na vaganju mesa, u javnost polako dospijevaju detalji kako je to trgovina točno muljala svoje kupce, i prilično su nevjerojatni, piše Jutarnji list. 

Portal Consumer Reports nabavio je nekoliko primjera računa iz parnice iz kojih je vidljivo da su se prevare najčešće odnosile na pretpakirano meso, meso peradi i ribu, da su bile učestalije kod robe na akciji te da su potrošači u konačnici za kilogram mesa plaćali više nego što je bila izražena cijena na deklaraciji.

Platio puni iznos

Prema jednom primjeru uključenom u parnicu, Walmart je na polici oglašavao sniženu cijenu puretine od 98 centa za funtu (0,454 kg) dok je redovna cijena na robi iznosila 1,48 dolara za funtu (0,454 kg), dakle 50 centa više.

Komad mesa težio je 15,28 funti, što znači da ga je potrošač na sniženju trebao platiti 15,07 umjesto redovnih 22,76 dolara, no tvrtka je posegnula za trikom - prilikom obračuna, sustav je naprosto povećao težinu proizvoda upravo toliko da cijena dosegne redovnu pa je potrošač na kraju zapravo platio puni iznos umjesto akcijskog.

Drugi primjerak odnosi se na pakirane svinjske šnicle - snižena cijena na polici je 4,16 dolara za funtu (0,454 kg) dok redovna na paketu iznosi 5,17 dolara pa bi paket težine 1,98 funti na popustu trebao koštati 9,25 umjesto 10,24 dolara.

No u trenutku kad ga je potrošač išao platiti, sustav je napravio isti trik kao i u prijašnjem slučaju - jednostavno je povećao težinu proizvoda na 2,2 funte i time naplatio 10,24 dolara, dakle punu cijenu proizvoda. Sporne račune možete pogledati ovdje.

Moraju imati račun

Kako prenosi Consumer Reports, Walmart je tijekom spora negirao da je manipulirao težinom svojih proizvoda, no na kraju se ipak pristao nagoditi, a svi potrošači koji su u periodu od 19. listopada 2018. do 19. siječnja 2024. godine bili oštećeni u ovoj prevari imaju pravo biti uključeni u odštetu.

Ako su zadržali račune te mogu dokazati kupovinu, ostvaruju pravo na povrat u iznosu od dva posto, odnosno najviše do 500 dolara, a prijaviti se mogu do 5. lipnja.

Ono što u cijeloj priči ostaje nerazjašnjeno jest je li trgovac namjerno manipulirao cijenama i težinom svojih proizvoda ili je ovdje riječ o nekoj vrsti pogreške...

Nakon što se poznata američka trgovina Walmart pristala nagoditi na iznos od 45 milijuna dolara uslijed tužbe u kojoj su je potrošači optužili da je godinama varala na vaganju mesa, u javnost polako dospijevaju detalji kako je to trgovina točno muljala svoje kupce, i prilično su nevjerojatni, piše Jutarnji list. 

Portal Consumer Reports nabavio je nekoliko primjera računa iz parnice iz kojih je vidljivo da su se prevare najčešće odnosile na pretpakirano meso, meso peradi i ribu, da su bile učestalije kod robe na akciji te da su potrošači u konačnici za kilogram mesa plaćali više nego što je bila izražena cijena na deklaraciji.

Platio puni iznos

Prema jednom primjeru uključenom u parnicu, Walmart je na polici oglašavao sniženu cijenu puretine od 98 centa za funtu (0,454 kg) dok je redovna cijena na robi iznosila 1,48 dolara za funtu (0,454 kg), dakle 50 centa više.

Komad mesa težio je 15,28 funti, što znači da ga je potrošač na sniženju trebao platiti 15,07 umjesto redovnih 22,76 dolara, no tvrtka je posegnula za trikom - prilikom obračuna, sustav je naprosto povećao težinu proizvoda upravo toliko da cijena dosegne redovnu pa je potrošač na kraju zapravo platio puni iznos umjesto akcijskog.

Drugi primjerak odnosi se na pakirane svinjske šnicle - snižena cijena na polici je 4,16 dolara za funtu (0,454 kg) dok redovna na paketu iznosi 5,17 dolara pa bi paket težine 1,98 funti na popustu trebao koštati 9,25 umjesto 10,24 dolara.

No u trenutku kad ga je potrošač išao platiti, sustav je napravio isti trik kao i u prijašnjem slučaju - jednostavno je povećao težinu proizvoda na 2,2 funte i time naplatio 10,24 dolara, dakle punu cijenu proizvoda. Sporne račune možete pogledati ovdje.

Kako prenosi Consumer Reports, Walmart je tijekom spora negirao da je manipulirao težinom svojih proizvoda, no na kraju se ipak pristao nagoditi, a svi potrošači koji su u periodu od 19. listopada 2018. do 19. siječnja 2024. godine bili oštećeni u ovoj prevari imaju pravo biti uključeni u odštetu.

Ako su zadržali račune te mogu dokazati kupovinu, ostvaruju pravo na povrat u iznosu od dva posto, odnosno najviše do 500 dolara, a prijaviti se mogu do 5. lipnja.

Ono što u cijeloj priči ostaje nerazjašnjeno jest je li trgovac namjerno manipulirao cijenama i težinom svojih proizvoda ili je ovdje riječ o nekoj vrsti pogreške...

Poznati trgovački lanac je godinama varao svoje kupce, pogledajte što su radili s robom na akciji: ‘Negirali su, ali...‘

Nakon što se poznata američka trgovina Walmart pristala nagoditi na iznos od 45 milijuna dolara uslijed tužbe u kojoj su je potrošači optužili da je godinama varala na vaganju mesa, u javnost polako dospijevaju detalji kako je to trgovina točno muljala svoje kupce, i prilično su nevjerojatni, piše Jutarnji list. 

Portal Consumer Reports nabavio je nekoliko primjera računa iz parnice iz kojih je vidljivo da su se prevare najčešće odnosile na pretpakirano meso, meso peradi i ribu, da su bile učestalije kod robe na akciji te da su potrošači u konačnici za kilogram mesa plaćali više nego što je bila izražena cijena na deklaraciji.

Platio puni iznos

Prema jednom primjeru uključenom u parnicu, Walmart je na polici oglašavao sniženu cijenu puretine od 98 centa za funtu (0,454 kg) dok je redovna cijena na robi iznosila 1,48 dolara za funtu (0,454 kg), dakle 50 centa više.

Komad mesa težio je 15,28 funti, što znači da ga je potrošač na sniženju trebao platiti 15,07 umjesto redovnih 22,76 dolara, no tvrtka je posegnula za trikom - prilikom obračuna, sustav je naprosto povećao težinu proizvoda upravo toliko da cijena dosegne redovnu pa je potrošač na kraju zapravo platio puni iznos umjesto akcijskog.

Drugi primjerak odnosi se na pakirane svinjske šnicle - snižena cijena na polici je 4,16 dolara za funtu (0,454 kg) dok redovna na paketu iznosi 5,17 dolara pa bi paket težine 1,98 funti na popustu trebao koštati 9,25 umjesto 10,24 dolara.

No u trenutku kad ga je potrošač išao platiti, sustav je napravio isti trik kao i u prijašnjem slučaju - jednostavno je povećao težinu proizvoda na 2,2 funte i time naplatio 10,24 dolara, dakle punu cijenu proizvoda. Sporne račune možete pogledati ovdje.
