Američka glumica Estelle Harris, poznata po ulozi vječno nezadovoljne majke Georgea Costanze (maestralno ga je igrao Jason Alexander) u televizijskom klasiku "Seinfeld", preminula je u subotu u dobi od 93 godine, piše The Hollywood Reporter (THR), a prenosi Jutarnji.

Glumičin sin Glen Harris rekao je za THR da je njegova majka preminula prirodnom smrću.

Harris je tijekom svoje karijere koju je započela u drugoj polovici 1970-ih ostvarila blizu 100 uloga. Osim uloge Estelle Costanza, ljubitelji filma pamte je i kao glas Krumpiroslave iz tetralogije "Priča o igračkama". Zapažene uloge odigrala je i u filmovima "This Is My Life" (1992.), "Out to Sea" (1997.) i "The Odd Couple II" (1998.).

Harris je glumačku karijeru započelo relativno kasno, u kasnim 40-ima.

Harris se kao Estelle Costanza prvi puta pojavila u četvrtoj sezoni "Seinfelda", a njezin lik je gotovo odmah postao jedan od omiljenih među obožavateljima serije. Inače, lik je ime dobio prije nego što je Harris prihvatila ulogu.

Glumica je rekka da prije audicije nije bila gledala seriju, a debitirala je u slavnoj epizodi "The Contest". Podsjetimo, radi se o epizodi u kojoj se glavni likovi serije - Jerry Seinfeld, Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards) i George - natječu u apstiniranju od masturbiranja. Scenarist epizode Larry David za nju je nagrađen Emmyjem, a časopis TV Guide 2009. ju je proglasio najboljom televizijskom epizodom svih vremena.

Estelle Costanza poznata je po konstantnom prigovaranju svome sinu Georgeu i suprugu Franku Costanzi (Jerry Stiller), a te su scene zbog njezine karakteristične boje glasa nerijetko najupečatljiviji dijelovi epizoda u kojima se pojavljivala.

Harris je se pojavila u ukupno 27 epizoda "Seinfelda".

Glumica je 2012. godine rekla da obožava lik Estelle Costanza, ali da se mučila dok je tražila inspiraciju za lik. "Jadna žena. Živjela je u tom stanu u kojem su se ona i Frank vjenčali. Isti namještaj, isti muž i sin luzer. Mislim, sve joj je pošlo krivo. Mislila sam da je to smiješno", dodala je Harris.

Američka glumica Estelle Harris, poznata po ulozi vječno nezadovoljne majke Georgea Costanze (maestralno ga je igrao Jason Alexander) u televizijskom klasiku "Seinfeld", preminula je u subotu u dobi od 93 godine, piše The Hollywood Reporter (THR), a prenosi Jutarnji.

Glumičin sin Glen Harris rekao je za THR da je njegova majka preminula prirodnom smrću.

Harris je tijekom svoje karijere koju je započela u drugoj polovici 1970-ih ostvarila blizu 100 uloga. Osim uloge Estelle Costanza, ljubitelji filma pamte je i kao glas Krumpiroslave iz tetralogije "Priča o igračkama". Zapažene uloge odigrala je i u filmovima "This Is My Life" (1992.), "Out to Sea" (1997.) i "The Odd Couple II" (1998.).

Harris je glumačku karijeru započelo relativno kasno, u kasnim 40-ima.

Harris se kao Estelle Costanza prvi puta pojavila u četvrtoj sezoni "Seinfelda", a njezin lik je gotovo odmah postao jedan od omiljenih među obožavateljima serije. Inače, lik je ime dobio prije nego što je Harris prihvatila ulogu.

Glumica je rekka da prije audicije nije bila gledala seriju, a debitirala je u slavnoj epizodi "The Contest". Podsjetimo, radi se o epizodi u kojoj se glavni likovi serije - Jerry Seinfeld, Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards) i George - natječu u apstiniranju od masturbiranja. Scenarist epizode Larry David za nju je nagrađen Emmyjem, a časopis TV Guide 2009. ju je proglasio najboljom televizijskom epizodom svih vremena.

Estelle Costanza poznata je po konstantnom prigovaranju svome sinu Georgeu i suprugu Franku Costanzi (Jerry Stiller), a te su scene zbog njezine karakteristične boje glasa nerijetko najupečatljiviji dijelovi epizoda u kojima se pojavljivala.

Harris je se pojavila u ukupno 27 epizoda "Seinfelda".

Glumica je 2012. godine rekla da obožava lik Estelle Costanza, ali da se mučila dok je tražila inspiraciju za lik. "Jadna žena. Živjela je u tom stanu u kojem su se ona i Frank vjenčali. Isti namještaj, isti muž i sin luzer. Mislim, sve joj je pošlo krivo. Mislila sam da je to smiješno", dodala je Harris.

Američka glumica Estelle Harris, poznata po ulozi vječno nezadovoljne majke Georgea Costanze (maestralno ga je igrao Jason Alexander) u televizijskom klasiku "Seinfeld", preminula je u subotu u dobi od 93 godine, piše The Hollywood Reporter (THR), a prenosi Jutarnji.

Glumičin sin Glen Harris rekao je za THR da je njegova majka preminula prirodnom smrću.

Harris je tijekom svoje karijere koju je započela u drugoj polovici 1970-ih ostvarila blizu 100 uloga. Osim uloge Estelle Costanza, ljubitelji filma pamte je i kao glas Krumpiroslave iz tetralogije "Priča o igračkama". Zapažene uloge odigrala je i u filmovima "This Is My Life" (1992.), "Out to Sea" (1997.) i "The Odd Couple II" (1998.).

Harris je glumačku karijeru započelo relativno kasno, u kasnim 40-ima.

Harris se kao Estelle Costanza prvi puta pojavila u četvrtoj sezoni "Seinfelda", a njezin lik je gotovo odmah postao jedan od omiljenih među obožavateljima serije. Inače, lik je ime dobio prije nego što je Harris prihvatila ulogu.

Glumica je rekka da prije audicije nije bila gledala seriju, a debitirala je u slavnoj epizodi "The Contest". Podsjetimo, radi se o epizodi u kojoj se glavni likovi serije - Jerry Seinfeld, Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards) i George - natječu u apstiniranju od masturbiranja. Scenarist epizode Larry David za nju je nagrađen Emmyjem, a časopis TV Guide 2009. ju je proglasio najboljom televizijskom epizodom svih vremena.

Estelle Costanza poznata je po konstantnom prigovaranju svome sinu Georgeu i suprugu Franku Costanzi (Jerry Stiller), a te su scene zbog njezine karakteristične boje glasa nerijetko najupečatljiviji dijelovi epizoda u kojima se pojavljivala.

Harris je se pojavila u ukupno 27 epizoda "Seinfelda".

Glumica je 2012. godine rekla da obožava lik Estelle Costanza, ali da se mučila dok je tražila inspiraciju za lik. "Jadna žena. Živjela je u tom stanu u kojem su se ona i Frank vjenčali. Isti namještaj, isti muž i sin luzer. Mislim, sve joj je pošlo krivo. Mislila sam da je to smiješno", dodala je Harris.
