Ruski predsjednik Vladimir Putin obratio se naciji u srijedu i poslao novu nukleranu prijetnju Zapadu. Optužio je Zapad da planira uništiti Rusiju.

“I mi imamo oružje za masovno uništenje, i to modernije od NATO-a. Ako treba zaštititi naš narod, zaštititi ćemo ga. Ne blefiram!”, kazao je Putin.

Korištenje nuklearnog oružja zadnja je mjera koju bi Rusija mogla iskoristiti, a stručnjaci iz SAD-a tvrde da postoje neki znakovi koji će otkriti priprema li Putin nuklearni napad.

Hans Kristensen, direktor projekta nuklearnih informacija pri Federaciji američkih znanstvenika, rekao je za Newsweek da bi Putin mogao djelovati brže s oružjem dugog dometa, koje je već u stanju pripravnosti, umjesto s oružjem kratkog dometa, koje bi Rusija morala izvesti središnjeg skladišta.

Aktivnost na mjestima gdje se skladište bojeve glave koje bi se potom utovarale u kamione i helikoptere ze povećana aktivnost među posebno obučenim jedinicama koje mogu rukovati tim oružjem značila bi da se Putin priprema za napad oružjem kratkog dometa, prenosi N1.

S druge strane, korištenje oružja dugog dometa moglo bi se očekivati ako se kopneni pokretni lanseri, raketne podmornice ili krstareće rakete premještaju u većem broju od uobičajenog.

Kristensen navodi da bi, ako dođe do toga, postojao niz vidljivih aktivnosti u nuklearnom zapovjednom i kontrolnom sustavu i općoj komunikaciji koje bi ukazivale na to da se nešto događa.

Prema Federaciji američkih znanstvenika, Rusija ima najveći inventar nuklearnih bojevih glava na svijetu s ukupno 5977 komada. SAD je na drugom mjestu s 4428, a slijedi ga Francuska s 290. Međutim, točan broj bojevih glava u posjedu Rusije nije poznat zbog sigurnosnih razloga.

Praćenje razina nuklearne aktivnosti norma je još od Hladnog rata, rekao je za Newsweek John Erath, viši direktor politike u Centru za kontrolu naoružanja.

Američka vojska može odgovoriti u nekoliko minuta

Kada je Putin u ožujku zaprijetio nuklearnim oružjem, nije bilo nikakvih aktivnosti na tlu, što znači da ruski lider nije doista pripremao nuklerani napad, navodi Kristensen. On vjeruje da će stručnjaci i sada promatrati te aktivnosti kako bi utvrdili koliko je ozbiljan bila njegova jučerašnja prijetnja.

Dodao je da američka vojska ima oko 1000 komada oružja spremnih za ispaljivanje u roku od nekoliko minuta, tako da bi također bila dobro pripremljena odgovoriti ako Putin krene u napad.

Glasnogovornik Vijeća za nacionalnu sigurnost John Kirby rekao je u srijedu da bi bilo “ozbiljnih posljedica” ako Rusija odluči upotrijebiti nuklearno oružje, ali da američki obavještajci “nemaju saznanja” da bi događaji u Ukrajini mogli eskalirati do ove razine u ovom trenutku.

Zapad je osudio prijetnje Vladimira Putina, a Erath ističe da će svjetski lideri biti vrlo oprezni oko toga što će reći jer nijedan vođa, uključujući Putina, “ne želi biti odgovoran za pokretanje velikog nuklearnog sukoba”. Dodaje da je dio opasnosti i u tome što Putin ne blefira i svjetski lideri to moraju shvatiti ozbiljno i pripremiti se.

“Ali mislim da ono što pokušava učiniti je iskoristiti prijetnju nuklearnim oružjem, za koje svi znaju da Rusija ima u izobilju, kako bi natjerao druge zemlje da preispitaju svoju podršku Ukrajini”, rekao je Erath.

Ruski predsjednik Vladimir Putin obratio se naciji u srijedu i poslao novu nukleranu prijetnju Zapadu. Optužio je Zapad da planira uništiti Rusiju.

“I mi imamo oružje za masovno uništenje, i to modernije od NATO-a. Ako treba zaštititi naš narod, zaštititi ćemo ga. Ne blefiram!”, kazao je Putin.

Korištenje nuklearnog oružja zadnja je mjera koju bi Rusija mogla iskoristiti, a stručnjaci iz SAD-a tvrde da postoje neki znakovi koji će otkriti priprema li Putin nuklearni napad.

Hans Kristensen, direktor projekta nuklearnih informacija pri Federaciji američkih znanstvenika, rekao je za Newsweek da bi Putin mogao djelovati brže s oružjem dugog dometa, koje je već u stanju pripravnosti, umjesto s oružjem kratkog dometa, koje bi Rusija morala izvesti središnjeg skladišta.

Aktivnost na mjestima gdje se skladište bojeve glave koje bi se potom utovarale u kamione i helikoptere ze povećana aktivnost među posebno obučenim jedinicama koje mogu rukovati tim oružjem značila bi da se Putin priprema za napad oružjem kratkog dometa, prenosi N1.

S druge strane, korištenje oružja dugog dometa moglo bi se očekivati ako se kopneni pokretni lanseri, raketne podmornice ili krstareće rakete premještaju u većem broju od uobičajenog.

Kristensen navodi da bi, ako dođe do toga, postojao niz vidljivih aktivnosti u nuklearnom zapovjednom i kontrolnom sustavu i općoj komunikaciji koje bi ukazivale na to da se nešto događa.

Prema Federaciji američkih znanstvenika, Rusija ima najveći inventar nuklearnih bojevih glava na svijetu s ukupno 5977 komada. SAD je na drugom mjestu s 4428, a slijedi ga Francuska s 290. Međutim, točan broj bojevih glava u posjedu Rusije nije poznat zbog sigurnosnih razloga.

Praćenje razina nuklearne aktivnosti norma je još od Hladnog rata, rekao je za Newsweek John Erath, viši direktor politike u Centru za kontrolu naoružanja.

Američka vojska može odgovoriti u nekoliko minuta

Kada je Putin u ožujku zaprijetio nuklearnim oružjem, nije bilo nikakvih aktivnosti na tlu, što znači da ruski lider nije doista pripremao nuklerani napad, navodi Kristensen. On vjeruje da će stručnjaci i sada promatrati te aktivnosti kako bi utvrdili koliko je ozbiljan bila njegova jučerašnja prijetnja.

Dodao je da američka vojska ima oko 1000 komada oružja spremnih za ispaljivanje u roku od nekoliko minuta, tako da bi također bila dobro pripremljena odgovoriti ako Putin krene u napad.

Glasnogovornik Vijeća za nacionalnu sigurnost John Kirby rekao je u srijedu da bi bilo “ozbiljnih posljedica” ako Rusija odluči upotrijebiti nuklearno oružje, ali da američki obavještajci “nemaju saznanja” da bi događaji u Ukrajini mogli eskalirati do ove razine u ovom trenutku.

Zapad je osudio prijetnje Vladimira Putina, a Erath ističe da će svjetski lideri biti vrlo oprezni oko toga što će reći jer nijedan vođa, uključujući Putina, “ne želi biti odgovoran za pokretanje velikog nuklearnog sukoba”. Dodaje da je dio opasnosti i u tome što Putin ne blefira i svjetski lideri to moraju shvatiti ozbiljno i pripremiti se.

“Ali mislim da ono što pokušava učiniti je iskoristiti prijetnju nuklearnim oružjem, za koje svi znaju da Rusija ima u izobilju, kako bi natjerao druge zemlje da preispitaju svoju podršku Ukrajini”, rekao je Erath.

Ruski predsjednik Vladimir Putin obratio se naciji u srijedu i poslao novu nukleranu prijetnju Zapadu. Optužio je Zapad da planira uništiti Rusiju.

“I mi imamo oružje za masovno uništenje, i to modernije od NATO-a. Ako treba zaštititi naš narod, zaštititi ćemo ga. Ne blefiram!”, kazao je Putin.

Korištenje nuklearnog oružja zadnja je mjera koju bi Rusija mogla iskoristiti, a stručnjaci iz SAD-a tvrde da postoje neki znakovi koji će otkriti priprema li Putin nuklearni napad.

Hans Kristensen, direktor projekta nuklearnih informacija pri Federaciji američkih znanstvenika, rekao je za Newsweek da bi Putin mogao djelovati brže s oružjem dugog dometa, koje je već u stanju pripravnosti, umjesto s oružjem kratkog dometa, koje bi Rusija morala izvesti središnjeg skladišta.
