Pola grada žali se na temperaturu, slabost i mučnine. Ovog ljeta, kao i mnogih prijašnjih, prevladava rotavirus, koji je gotovo "obiteljski" virus budući od njega obolijevaju cijele obitelji.

– Istina, crijevne infekcije najveće su opterećenje koje imamo ovog ljeta u ambulanti Hitnog prijama Klinike za infektologiju. Ako dnevno pregledamo 70-ak pacijenata, mislim da je udio onih s crijevnim infekcijama oko 40 posto. Te crijevne infekcije osobito su izražene kod djece. Naime, najčešće se radi o rotavirusu i njim se zaraze cijele obitelji, no kod djece se pojavljuje teža klinička slika nego kod odraslih – rekla nam je doc. dr. sc. Mirela Pavičić Ivelja, predstojnica Klinike za infektologiju KBC-a Split.

Najvažnija je tekućina

Da bi se koliko-toliko zaštitili od ljetnih crijevnih infekcija, svi moraju održavati adekvatne higijenske mjere.

– Osim toga, hrana koju jedu treba biti dobro termički obrađena, no rotavirus se usprkos svim preventivnim mjerama vrlo lako širi unutar obitelji. Simptomi crijevnih infekcija su vrućica, proljev, povraćanje i malaksalost te različiti stupnjevi dehidracije. U najvećem broju slučajeva nije potrebna hospitalizacija, rješavamo ih preko dnevne bolnice. Komplikacije su izrazito rijetke, a najvažnije je nadoknaditi tekućinu, pogotovo kod djece. Ako dijete ne podnosi unos tekućine na usta normalnim putem, potrebno je odvesti ga pedijatru ili obiteljskom liječniku. Oni će djetetu dati infuziju ili će ga, ako je to potrebno, postati nama na Kliniku za infektologiju – zaključuje doc. dr. sc. Pavičić Ivelja.

Pola grada žali se na temperaturu, slabost i mučnine. Ovog ljeta, kao i mnogih prijašnjih, prevladava rotavirus, koji je gotovo "obiteljski" virus budući od njega obolijevaju cijele obitelji.

– Istina, crijevne infekcije najveće su opterećenje koje imamo ovog ljeta u ambulanti Hitnog prijama Klinike za infektologiju. Ako dnevno pregledamo 70-ak pacijenata, mislim da je udio onih s crijevnim infekcijama oko 40 posto. Te crijevne infekcije osobito su izražene kod djece. Naime, najčešće se radi o rotavirusu i njim se zaraze cijele obitelji, no kod djece se pojavljuje teža klinička slika nego kod odraslih – rekla nam je doc. dr. sc. Mirela Pavičić Ivelja, predstojnica Klinike za infektologiju KBC-a Split.

Najvažnija je tekućina

Da bi se koliko-toliko zaštitili od ljetnih crijevnih infekcija, svi moraju održavati adekvatne higijenske mjere.

– Osim toga, hrana koju jedu treba biti dobro termički obrađena, no rotavirus se usprkos svim preventivnim mjerama vrlo lako širi unutar obitelji. Simptomi crijevnih infekcija su vrućica, proljev, povraćanje i malaksalost te različiti stupnjevi dehidracije. U najvećem broju slučajeva nije potrebna hospitalizacija, rješavamo ih preko dnevne bolnice. Komplikacije su izrazito rijetke, a najvažnije je nadoknaditi tekućinu, pogotovo kod djece. Ako dijete ne podnosi unos tekućine na usta normalnim putem, potrebno je odvesti ga pedijatru ili obiteljskom liječniku. Hara ‘obiteljska‘ viroza, simptomi su vrlo neugodni. Šefica Klinike za infektologiju: ‘Kod djece je teža slika‘

Pola grada žali se na temperaturu, slabost i mučnine. Ovog ljeta, kao i mnogih prijašnjih, prevladava rotavirus, koji je gotovo "obiteljski" virus budući od njega obolijevaju cijele obitelji.

– Istina, crijevne infekcije najveće su opterećenje koje imamo ovog ljeta u ambulanti Hitnog prijama Klinike za infektologiju. Ako dnevno pregledamo 70-ak pacijenata, mislim da je udio onih s crijevnim infekcijama oko 40 posto. Te crijevne infekcije osobito su izražene kod djece. Naime, najčešće se radi o rotavirusu i njim se zaraze cijele obitelji, no kod djece se pojavljuje teža klinička slika nego kod odraslih – rekla nam je doc. dr. sc. Mirela Pavičić Ivelja, predstojnica Klinike za infektologiju KBC-a Split.

Najvažnija je tekućina

Da bi se koliko-toliko zaštitili od ljetnih crijevnih infekcija, svi moraju održavati adekvatne higijenske mjere.

– Osim toga, hrana koju jedu treba biti dobro termički obrađena, no rotavirus se usprkos svim preventivnim mjerama vrlo lako širi unutar obitelji. Simptomi crijevnih infekcija su vrućica, proljev, povraćanje i malaksalost te različiti stupnjevi dehidracije. U najvećem broju slučajeva nije potrebna hospitalizacija, rješavamo ih preko dnevne bolnice. Komplikacije su izrazito rijetke, a najvažnije je nadoknaditi tekućinu, pogotovo kod djece. Ako dijete ne podnosi unos tekućine na usta normalnim putem, potrebno je odvesti ga pedijatru ili obiteljskom liječniku. Oni će djetetu dati infuziju ili će ga, ako je to potrebno, postati nama na Kliniku za infektologiju – zaključuje doc. dr. sc. Pavičić Ivelja.
