Nakon Petrinje i Gline, jutros je prema Kostajnici otišao treći kombi humanitarne pomoći s otoka Vira za stanovnike unesrećene u razornom potresu. Prvi je s raznim potrepštinama bio otišao 31. prosinca prema mjestu Hrastovica kod Petrinje, drugi je 3. siječnja bio upućen u Glinu, a posljednji je s prikupljenom i sortiranom raznom robom, odjećom i potrepštinama odnesen u Kostajnicu. Tamo su Virani prikupljenu pomoć predali u ruke kostajničkom Crvenom križu, odnosno ravnateljici Crvenog križa Sisačko-moslovačke županije Maji Böhm.

- Virani su sjajno i humano reagirali te u kratkom vremenu napravili čudo. Ovo je po svemu bila naša najuspješnija akcija, ali su na žalost okolnosti bile dramatične i tragične. Čovjek ne može ništa drugo nego pomoći od srca i onoliko koliko može - kaže koordinator ove akcije Crvenog križa i predsjednik virskog UDDK-a Goran Vicković. Predsjednik Vicković zahvalio se ujedno svim volonterima na otoku uz napomenu kako je odsad Caritas Zadarske nadbiskupije adresa za dostavu pomoći. Vicković nam je prenio i dojmove s razorenih područja.

- Stanje je katastrofa. Sve je porušeno, ali ima razloga za optimizam jer pomaže cijela Hrvatska, dok se manja oštećenja na kućama već popravljaju. One kuće koje se ne mogu obnoviti, sada se ruše - govori virski humanitarac. Ukupno su Virani tijekom sedmodnevne akcije prikupili 11 tona humanitarne pomoći koja je u tri navrata odnesena na potresom pogođena područja. Akcija se provodila svakodnevno od 8 do 18 sati u dvorani župne crkve svetoga Jurja na Viru uz koordinaciju agilnog predsjednika virskog UDDK-a Vickovića, kojemu su zdušno pomagali virski župnik don Jure Zubović te volonteri virskog UDDK-a Alen Glavan, Vojna Kapović, Marija Horvat, Mimoza Jevremović, Krešimir Hotko, Snježana Hotko, Ljiljana Kapović, Rozika Bizjak i Vesna Felja te Vinko Radović koji je u dva navrata vozio i na raspolaganje dao svoj kombi, dok je jednom prijevozno sredstvo ustupio prijatelj otoka Vira Šime Perica iz Škabrnje. Do 6. siječnja ovoj se humanitarnoj akciji odazvalo čak 281 obitelj s otoka Vira, što je najmasovniji odaziv ikad zabilježen na otoku Viru.

Nakon Petrinje i Gline, jutros je prema Kostajnici otišao treći kombi humanitarne pomoći s otoka Vira za stanovnike unesrećene u razornom potresu. Prvi je s raznim potrepštinama bio otišao 31. prosinca prema mjestu Hrastovica kod Petrinje, drugi je 3. siječnja bio upućen u Glinu, a posljednji je s prikupljenom i sortiranom raznom robom, odjećom i potrepštinama odnesen u Kostajnicu. Tamo su Virani prikupljenu pomoć predali u ruke kostajničkom Crvenom križu, odnosno ravnateljici Crvenog križa Sisačko-moslovačke županije Maji Böhm.

- Virani su sjajno i humano reagirali te u kratkom vremenu napravili čudo. Ovo je po svemu bila naša najuspješnija akcija, ali su na žalost okolnosti bile dramatične i tragične. Čovjek ne može ništa drugo nego pomoći od srca i onoliko koliko može - kaže koordinator ove akcije Crvenog križa i predsjednik virskog UDDK-a Goran Vicković. Predsjednik Vicković zahvalio se ujedno svim volonterima na otoku uz napomenu kako je odsad Caritas Zadarske nadbiskupije adresa za dostavu pomoći. Vicković nam je prenio i dojmove s razorenih područja.

- Stanje je katastrofa. Sve je porušeno, ali ima razloga za optimizam jer pomaže cijela Hrvatska, dok se manja oštećenja na kućama već popravljaju. One kuće koje se ne mogu obnoviti, sada se ruše - govori virski humanitarac. Ukupno su Virani tijekom sedmodnevne akcije prikupili 11 tona humanitarne pomoći koja je u tri navrata odnesena na potresom pogođena područja. Akcija se provodila svakodnevno od 8 do 18 sati u dvorani župne crkve svetoga Jurja na Viru uz koordinaciju agilnog predsjednika virskog UDDK-a Vickovića, kojemu su zdušno pomagali virski župnik don Jure Zubović te volonteri virskog UDDK-a Alen Glavan, Vojna Kapović, Marija Horvat, Mimoza Jevremović, Krešimir Hotko, Snježana Hotko, Ljiljana Kapović, Rozika Bizjak i Vesna Felja te Vinko Radović koji je u dva navrata vozio i na raspolaganje dao svoj kombi, dok je jednom prijevozno sredstvo ustupio prijatelj otoka Vira Šime Perica iz Škabrnje. Do 6. siječnja ovoj se humanitarnoj akciji odazvalo čak 281 obitelj s otoka Vira, što je najmasovniji odaziv ikad zabilježen na otoku Viru.

Virani napravili čudo u sedam dana: prikupili 11 tona pomoći za unesrećene u razornom potresu!

Nakon Petrinje i Gline, jutros je prema Kostajnici otišao treći kombi humanitarne pomoći s otoka Vira za stanovnike unesrećene u razornom potresu. Prvi je s raznim potrepštinama bio otišao 31. prosinca prema mjestu Hrastovica kod Petrinje, drugi je 3. siječnja bio upućen u Glinu, a posljednji je s prikupljenom i sortiranom raznom robom, odjećom i potrepštinama odnesen u Kostajnicu. Tamo su Virani prikupljenu pomoć predali u ruke kostajničkom Crvenom križu, odnosno ravnateljici Crvenog križa Sisačko-moslovačke županije Maji Böhm.

- Virani su sjajno i humano reagirali te u kratkom vremenu napravili čudo. Ovo je po svemu bila naša najuspješnija akcija, ali su na žalost okolnosti bile dramatične i tragične. Čovjek ne može ništa drugo nego pomoći od srca i onoliko koliko može - kaže koordinator ove akcije Crvenog križa i predsjednik virskog UDDK-a Goran Vicković. Predsjednik Vicković zahvalio se ujedno svim volonterima na otoku uz napomenu kako je odsad Caritas Zadarske nadbiskupije adresa za dostavu pomoći. Vicković nam je prenio i dojmove s razorenih područja.

- Stanje je katastrofa. Sve je porušeno, ali ima razloga za optimizam jer pomaže cijela Hrvatska, dok se manja oštećenja na kućama već popravljaju.
