- Rokove uređenja Cerovačkih špilja, koje su trebale biti otvorene do kraja 2021. godine, poremetila je korona. Nasatali su problemi s dobavljačima, kašnjenja u isporukama i niz drugih poteškoća. Zatražili smo, i odobreno je, produženje roka do 30. lipnja, tako da vjerujemo da će Cerovačke špilje biti otvorene za javnost od 1. srpnja ove godine – kaže Mario Šaban, ravnatelj Javne ustanove Park prirode Velebit, koja je nositelj projekta „Centar izvrsnosti Cerovačke špilje“, vrijednog 68,4 milijuna kuna, od čega su EU sredstva 53,2 milijuna kuna.

- Projekt traje od travnja 2018. godine, tako da je uređenje obje špilje temeljito, prema visokim standardima prezentacije i valorizacije tako vrijednih spomenika prirode. Mi smo nositelji projekta, no u njemu sudjeluje i Javna ustanova za upravljanje zaštićenim dijelovima prirode na području Zadarske županije „Natura Jadera“, te Zagrebački speleološki savez. Najvažnije je da su obnovljene i uređene staze u obje špilje, gornjoj i donjoj, što je podrazumijevalo s jedne strane betoniranje, a s druge strane postavljanje stakala kroz koja će pogled na niže dijelove pećina biti uistinu spektakularan. Valjalo je zamijeniti dotrajale grede na ogradama, a posebno se uređivala rasvjeta – kazao je ravnatelj Šaban, objašnjavajući kako je rasvjeta u špiljama značajno poboljšana, a postavljeni su i panoi s obrazloženjima, informacijama i zanimljivostima o pojedinim dijelovima pećina.

- Mi smo dogovorili i postavljanje pet „kućica“ na ulasku u pećine. Cilj je ne samo da turistima ponudimo naše proizvode, već da se u tome „pronađu“ OPG-ovi sa gračačkog područja, da mali proizvođači plasiraju svoje proizvode i da domaći ljudi na prostoru gdje žive mogu ostvarivati zaradu. Radi se o gastronomskoj ponudi, ali i o rukotvorinama i suvenirima. Sveukupno, Cerovačke špilje zaista će biti prezentirane kako su odavno trebale biti, a i valorizirane u turističkom smislu kao šira ponuda na ovim prostorima. Lika ima proizvode koje treba pokazati i ponuditi posjetiteljima Cerovačkih špilja – kazao je Mario Šaban.

Radovi na uređenju Centra izvrsnosti

Cerovačke pećine su najveći špiljski kompleks u Hrvatskoj, sa gornjom i donjom pećinom čine oko tri sada hoda za posjetitelje, pri temperaturi između pet i osam stupnjeva. Za posjet špiljama predviđene su i grupne i individualne posjete.

Projekt obnove podrazumijeva i uređenje parkirališta za veći broj vozila. Posebno se, u sklopu projekta, provodi i program uspostave regionalnog speleološkog referentnog centra koji će omogućiti da ustanova Park prirode Velebit ponudi specijalističke speleološke istraživačke usluge.

Jedan od projektom predviđenih pokazatelja uspješnosti do 2023. godine je i povećanje broja posjetitelja koji su educirani o prirodnoj baštini u parkovima prirode za 36 posto.

- Rokove uređenja Cerovačkih špilja, koje su trebale biti otvorene do kraja 2021. godine, poremetila je korona. Nasatali su problemi s dobavljačima, kašnjenja u isporukama i niz drugih poteškoća. Zatražili smo, i odobreno je, produženje roka do 30. lipnja, tako da vjerujemo da će Cerovačke špilje biti otvorene za javnost od 1. srpnja ove godine – kaže Mario Šaban, ravnatelj Javne ustanove Park prirode Velebit, koja je nositelj projekta „Centar izvrsnosti Cerovačke špilje“, vrijednog 68,4 milijuna kuna, od čega su EU sredstva 53,2 milijuna kuna.

- Projekt traje od travnja 2018. godine, tako da je uređenje obje špilje temeljito, prema visokim standardima prezentacije i valorizacije tako vrijednih spomenika prirode. Mi smo nositelji projekta, no u njemu sudjeluje i Javna ustanova za upravljanje zaštićenim dijelovima prirode na području Zadarske županije „Natura Jadera“, te Zagrebački speleološki savez. Najvažnije je da su obnovljene i uređene staze u obje špilje, gornjoj i donjoj, što je podrazumijevalo s jedne strane betoniranje, a s druge strane postavljanje stakala kroz koja će pogled na niže dijelove pećina biti uistinu spektakularan. Valjalo je zamijeniti dotrajale grede na ogradama, a posebno se uređivala rasvjeta – kazao je ravnatelj Šaban, objašnjavajući kako je rasvjeta u špiljama značajno poboljšana, a postavljeni su i panoi s obrazloženjima, informacijama i zanimljivostima o pojedinim dijelovima pećina.

- Mi smo dogovorili i postavljanje pet „kućica“ na ulasku u pećine. Cilj je ne samo da turistima ponudimo naše proizvode, već da se u tome „pronađu“ OPG-ovi sa gračačkog područja, da mali proizvođači plasiraju svoje proizvode i da domaći ljudi na prostoru gdje žive mogu ostvarivati zaradu. Radi se o gastronomskoj ponudi, ali i o rukotvorinama i suvenirima. Sveukupno, Cerovačke špilje zaista će biti prezentirane kako su odavno trebale biti, a i valorizirane u turističkom smislu kao šira ponuda na ovim prostorima. Lika ima proizvode koje treba pokazati i ponuditi posjetiteljima Cerovačkih špilja – kazao je Mario Šaban.

Cerovačke pećine su najveći špiljski kompleks u Hrvatskoj, sa gornjom i donjom pećinom čine oko tri sada hoda za posjetitelje, pri temperaturi između pet i osam stupnjeva. Za posjet špiljama predviđene su i grupne i individualne posjete.

Projekt obnove podrazumijeva i uređenje parkirališta za veći broj vozila. Posebno se, u sklopu projekta, provodi i program uspostave regionalnog speleološkog referentnog centra koji će omogućiti da ustanova Park prirode Velebit ponudi specijalističke speleološke istraživačke usluge.

Jedan od projektom predviđenih pokazatelja uspješnosti do 2023. godine je i povećanje broja posjetitelja koji su educirani o prirodnoj baštini u parkovima prirode za 36 posto.
