Braća Fantela u Santanderu će odraditi završnu fazu priprema uoči nastupa na Igrama u Tokiju, gdje će biti među ozbiljnim kandidatima za osvajanje medalje u klasi 49er.

Brod je već na putu za Japan, a uskoro će mu se pridružiti Šime i Miho! Nakon napornih i uspješnih proljetnih treninga na Atlantskom oceanu, Fantele ulaze u završnicu priprema za Olimpijske igre u Tokiju, koje počinju 23. srpnja u Zemlji Izlazećeg Sunca.

Iako nije bilo mnogo jakih natjecanja u klasi 49er u 2021. godini, Fantele su se pobrinule da im utrkivanja ne nedostaje. Nakon još jednog TOP 10 rezultata na Svjetskom kupu u Lanzaroteu u ožujku, zadarska posada preselila se u travnju na sjever Španjolske, gdje su se u Santanderu našli u zajedničkom kampu s najboljim jedriličarima svijeta, uključujući i aktualne olimpijske prvake, Novozelanđane Petera Burlinga i Blaira Tukea.

-U Santanderu je sve dosta slično onome što nas očekuje u Japanu, što se tiče vala i uvjeta na moru. Ima vjetrova svih snaga, a prisustvovale su kampu baš vrhunske posade. Dogovorili smo se da svaki dan jedrimo regate i bilo je stvarno dobro, jer ušli smo u taj mod utrkivanja, kazao je Šime Fantela

Osim što su brusili svoje vještine na moru, Fantele su napravile i veliki iskorak po pitanju izbora opreme s kojom će se utrkivati u Tokiju. A brod su još u travnju poslali na Daleki Istok, kako slučajno ne bi zakasnio na početak Igara.

Ključan dio priprema još uvijek je pred Šimom i Mihovilom, kada će u lipnju odraditi još jedan trening kamp u Santanderu, prije nego što se sredinom srpnja zapute prema Tokiju.

-Vraćamo se u Santander na još jedan blok treninga s vrhunskim posadama. U tom kampu ćemo donijeti definitivnu odluku s kojim jedrom i flokom ćemo se utrkivati, a olimpijski genaker smo već dobili, kaže Šime.

Za trenutno najbolji hrvatski jedriličarski dvojac u završnoj fazi priprema ključno će biti odraditi što više trening utrka, kad već ovog proljeća nije bilo na rasporedu mnogo službenih međunarodnih regata. Fokus će biti na što više regatiranja. Svaka ta trening regatica nam je jako bitna, da pokušamo što manje grešaka raditi i što više pobjeđivati i da uđemo u to natjecateljsko raspoloženje, pojasnio je Šime Fantela.

Nastup u Tokiju bit će čak četvrti olimpijski za Šimu Fantelu, a ove Olimpijske igre bit će svakako posebne za njegovog brata Mihovila, koji će po prvi put okusiti čar najvažnijeg svjetskog sportskog natjecanja.

-Bit će malo drukčije nego inače pa će fokus biti isključivo na jedrenje, protiv posada koje viđaš 200 dana godišnje. Zato će mentalno to sve biti malo lakše za njega," zaključuje Šime Fantela koji je u Riju 2016. godine osvojio prvo povijesno hrvatsko olimpijsko zlato, s Igrom Marenićem u klasi 470.

Sad s Mihovilom traži još jedno olimpijsko odličje, u izuzetno izjednačenoj konkurenciji klasi 49er. Zlatom na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Aarhusu 2018. godine, kao i prošlogodišnjom europskom broncom na austrijskom jezeru Attersee, Fantele su pokazale da imaju sve što je potrebno za najviše jedriličarske domete pa će svakako biti u uskom krugu kandidata za osvajanje medalje u Tokiju...

Braća Fantela u Santanderu će odraditi završnu fazu priprema uoči nastupa na Igrama u Tokiju, gdje će biti među ozbiljnim kandidatima za osvajanje medalje u klasi 49er.

Brod je već na putu za Japan, a uskoro će mu se pridružiti Šime i Miho! Nakon napornih i uspješnih proljetnih treninga na Atlantskom oceanu, Fantele ulaze u završnicu priprema za Olimpijske igre u Tokiju, koje počinju 23. srpnja u Zemlji Izlazećeg Sunca.

Iako nije bilo mnogo jakih natjecanja u klasi 49er u 2021. godini, Fantele su se pobrinule da im utrkivanja ne nedostaje. Nakon još jednog TOP 10 rezultata na Svjetskom kupu u Lanzaroteu u ožujku, zadarska posada preselila se u travnju na sjever Španjolske, gdje su se u Santanderu našli u zajedničkom kampu s najboljim jedriličarima svijeta, uključujući i aktualne olimpijske prvake, Novozelanđane Petera Burlinga i Blaira Tukea.

-U Santanderu je sve dosta slično onome što nas očekuje u Japanu, što se tiče vala i uvjeta na moru. Ima vjetrova svih snaga, a prisustvovale su kampu baš vrhunske posade. Dogovorili smo se da svaki dan jedrimo regate i bilo je stvarno dobro, jer ušli smo u taj mod utrkivanja, kazao je Šime Fantela

Osim što su brusili svoje vještine na moru, Fantele su napravile i veliki iskorak po pitanju izbora opreme s kojom će se utrkivati u Tokiju. A brod su još u travnju poslali na Daleki Istok, kako slučajno ne bi zakasnio na početak Igara.

Ključan dio priprema još uvijek je pred Šimom i Mihovilom, kada će u lipnju odraditi još jedan trening kamp u Santanderu, prije nego što se sredinom srpnja zapute prema Tokiju.

-Vraćamo se u Santander na još jedan blok treninga s vrhunskim posadama. U tom kampu ćemo donijeti definitivnu odluku s kojim jedrom i flokom ćemo se utrkivati, a olimpijski genaker smo već dobili, kaže Šime.

Za trenutno najbolji hrvatski jedriličarski dvojac u završnoj fazi priprema ključno će biti odraditi što više trening utrka, kad već ovog proljeća nije bilo na rasporedu mnogo službenih međunarodnih regata. Fokus će biti na što više regatiranja. Svaka ta trening regatica nam je jako bitna, da pokušamo što manje grešaka raditi i što više pobjeđivati i da uđemo u to natjecateljsko raspoloženje, pojasnio je Šime Fantela.

Nastup u Tokiju bit će čak četvrti olimpijski za Šimu Fantelu, a ove Olimpijske igre bit će svakako posebne za njegovog brata Mihovila, koji će po prvi put okusiti čar najvažnijeg svjetskog sportskog natjecanja.

Braća Fantela u Santanderu će odraditi završnu fazu priprema uoči nastupa na Igrama u Tokiju, gdje će biti među ozbiljnim kandidatima za osvajanje medalje u klasi 49er.

Brod je već na putu za Japan, a uskoro će mu se pridružiti Šime i Miho! Nakon napornih i uspješnih proljetnih treninga na Atlantskom oceanu, Fantele ulaze u završnicu priprema za Olimpijske igre u Tokiju, koje počinju 23. srpnja u Zemlji Izlazećeg Sunca.

Iako nije bilo mnogo jakih natjecanja u klasi 49er u 2021. godini, Fantele su se pobrinule da im utrkivanja ne nedostaje. Nakon još jednog TOP 10 rezultata na Svjetskom kupu u Lanzaroteu u ožujku, zadarska posada preselila se u travnju na sjever Španjolske, gdje su se u Santanderu našli u zajedničkom kampu s najboljim jedriličarima svijeta, uključujući i aktualne olimpijske prvake, Novozelanđane Petera Burlinga i Blaira Tukea.

-U Santanderu je sve dosta slično onome što nas očekuje u Japanu, što se tiče vala i uvjeta na moru. Ima vjetrova svih snaga, a prisustvovale su kampu baš vrhunske posade. Dogovorili smo se da svaki dan jedrimo regate i bilo je stvarno dobro, jer ušli smo u taj mod utrkivanja, kazao je Šime Fantela

Osim što su brusili svoje vještine na moru, Fantele su napravile i veliki iskorak po pitanju izbora opreme s kojom će se utrkivati u Tokiju. A brod su još u travnju poslali na Daleki Istok, kako slučajno ne bi zakasnio na početak Igara.

Ključan dio priprema još uvijek je pred Šimom i Mihovilom, kada će u lipnju odraditi još jedan trening kamp u Santanderu, prije nego što se sredinom srpnja zapute prema Tokiju.

-Vraćamo se u Santander na još jedan blok treninga s vrhunskim posadama. U tom kampu ćemo donijeti definitivnu odluku s kojim jedrom i flokom ćemo se utrkivati, a olimpijski genaker smo već dobili, kaže Šime.

Za trenutno najbolji hrvatski jedriličarski dvojac u završnoj fazi priprema ključno će biti odraditi što više trening utrka, kad već ovog proljeća nije bilo na rasporedu mnogo službenih međunarodnih regata. Fokus će biti na što više regatiranja. Svaka ta trening regatica nam je jako bitna, da pokušamo što manje grešaka raditi i što više pobjeđivati i da uđemo u to natjecateljsko raspoloženje, pojasnio je Šime Fantela.

Nastup u Tokiju bit će čak četvrti olimpijski za Šimu Fantelu, a ove Olimpijske igre bit će svakako posebne za njegovog brata Mihovila, koji će po prvi put okusiti čar najvažnijeg svjetskog sportskog natjecanja.
