Vratio se Žarko Knego na Slovakia Ring, odradio drugu stanicu nove sezone u natjecanju TCR Istočna Europa, koju će pamtiti po osvojenim bodovima u obje utrke, devetom mjestu u prvoj utrci, prva dva boda ove sezone, po činjenici kako je u drugoj utrci zahvaljujući tome startao s prve pozicije (reverse grid), te na kraju zauzeo sedmo mjesto i uzeo nove bodove.

- U subotu sam u kvalifikacijama bio dvanaesti, startao u prvoj bodovnoj utrci s dvanaestog mjesta, te zauzeo deveto mjesto. Kako se tad za drugu utrku okreće startna rešetka, krenuo sam prvi. Nije to lako – rekao je član Dubrovnik Racinga uoči nedjeljne utrke. Knego je četverostruki državni prvak, koji se 2019. odlučio okušati u jačoj konkurenciji.

Već u prvom zavoju nije uspio odbiti napad te sačuvati prvu poziciju, pao je potom na deveto mjesto, međutim, nije se predavao. Vrlo bzo osmi, pa sedmi. Knego je povećavao prednost ispred osmog, smanjivao zaostatak za šestim... Ni treći nije bio daleko, tek su se odvojili Čeh Tomas Pekar i Nijemac Sebastian Steibel. Pekar je na kraju slavio ispred Nijemca.

Knego nije imao sreće na Hungaroringu prošli mjesec, na startu nove sezone. Problem s automobilom u prvoj bodovnoj utrci, točnije uoči prvog starta, a kako ga nije uspio riješiti nakon toga, ostao je bez plasmana u drugoj, te bez bodova.

Sad je u obje vožnje bio u TOP 10, deveti pa sedmi, dva pa šest bodova, ukupno osam, te s nestrpljenjem iščekuje novi nastup, koji će imati u poljskom Poznanu od 11. do 13. lipnja.

Vratio se Žarko Knego na Slovakia Ring, odradio drugu stanicu nove sezone u natjecanju TCR Istočna Europa, koju će pamtiti po osvojenim bodovima u obje utrke, devetom mjestu u prvoj utrci, prva dva boda ove sezone, po činjenici kako je u drugoj utrci zahvaljujući tome startao s prve pozicije (reverse grid), te na kraju zauzeo sedmo mjesto i uzeo nove bodove.

- U subotu sam u kvalifikacijama bio dvanaesti, startao u prvoj bodovnoj utrci s dvanaestog mjesta, te zauzeo deveto mjesto. Kako se tad za drugu utrku okreće startna rešetka, krenuo sam prvi. Nije to lako – rekao je član Dubrovnik Racinga uoči nedjeljne utrke. Knego je četverostruki državni prvak, koji se 2019. odlučio okušati u jačoj konkurenciji.

Već u prvom zavoju nije uspio odbiti napad te sačuvati prvu poziciju, pao je potom na deveto mjesto, međutim, nije se predavao. Vrlo bzo osmi, pa sedmi. Knego je povećavao prednost ispred osmog, smanjivao zaostatak za šestim... Ni treći nije bio daleko, tek su se odvojili Čeh Tomas Pekar i Nijemac Sebastian Steibel. Pekar je na kraju slavio ispred Nijemca.

Knego nije imao sreće na Hungaroringu prošli mjesec, na startu nove sezone. Problem s automobilom u prvoj bodovnoj utrci, točnije uoči prvog starta, a kako ga nije uspio riješiti nakon toga, ostao je bez plasmana u drugoj, te bez bodova.

Sad je u obje vožnje bio u TOP 10, deveti pa sedmi, dva pa šest bodova, ukupno osam, te s nestrpljenjem iščekuje novi nastup, koji će imati u poljskom Poznanu od 11. do 13. lipnja.
