Posljednji su podaci da se u Hrvatskoj godišnje dijagnosticira više od 600 novih slučajeva raka gušterače, a radi se o jednom od najsmrtonosnijih tipova raka s vrlo niskom stopom preživljenja. To je gotovo dva dnevno. Jedan od razloga zašto je to jedan od najsmrtonosnijih tipova raka je zato što se često otkriva prekasno za bilo kakvu učinkovitu terapiju. No, postoje neki rani upozoravajući znakovi na koje valja obratiti pozornost jer bi to moglo povećati šanse za preživljenje.
Neki se simptomi mogu pojaviti i na najnevjerojatnijim mjestima, što znači da ih se lako može zamijeniti s nečim drugim, piše britanski Express.
Jedan takav simptom može se čak pojaviti u stopalima i gležnjevima. Dobrotvorna organizacija Pancreatic Cancer UK opisuje kako pacijenti s rakom gušterače koji se “bliže kraju svog života” mogu imati nakupljanje tekućine u stopalima i gležnjevima. To je u medicini poznato kao edem i uzrokuje oticanje koje može biti neugodno i bolno.
Također može otežati pravilno kretanje.

Dobrotvorna organizacija objašnjava: “Tekućina se također može nakupiti u drugim dijelovima vašeg tijela, kao što su ruke, noge i stopala. Neki ljudi također dobiju edem na genitalijama. Edem može biti neugodan i bolan te vam može otežati kretanje.”
Bolest također može uzrokovati nakupljanje tekućine u abdomenu, što je stanje poznato kao ascites.
“Možda imate oticanje u trbuhu i možete se brzo osjećati siti dok jedete”, kažu iz dobrotvorne organizacije Pancreatic Cancer UK. “Možda će vam biti teže kretati se i možete ostati bez daha. Ako imate bilo koji od ovih simptoma, obavijestite svog liječnika. Također će vam možda biti udobnije koristiti jastuke da se poduprete dok spavate.”
Ostali simptomi
Drugi simptomi raka gušterače mogu uključivati:
- Bjeloočnice ili koža požute (žutica), a možete imati i svrbež kože
- Tamnija mokraća i blijeđa stolica no inače
- Gubitak apetita ili gubitak težine bez pokušaja mršavljenja
- Osjećaj umora ili nedostatka energije
- Visoka temperatura ili osjećaj vrućine ili drhtavice.
NHS navodi da bolest također može utjecati na vašu probavu.
To može uzrokovati:
– Osjećaj mučnine
– Proljev ili zatvor ili druge promjene u stolici
– Bol u gornjem dijelu trbuha i leđa, koja se može pogoršati dok jedete ili ležite, a poboljšati kada se nagnete naprijed
– Simptomi probavnih smetnji, poput osjećaja nadutosti.
Ako osjetite bilo kakve simptome raka gušterače, trebali biste što prije razgovarati sa svojim liječnikom opće prakse.

Posljednji su podaci da se u Hrvatskoj godišnje dijagnosticira više od 600 novih slučajeva raka gušterače, a radi se o jednom od najsmrtonosnijih tipova raka s vrlo niskom stopom preživljenja. To je gotovo dva dnevno. Jedan od razloga zašto je to jedan od najsmrtonosnijih tipova raka je zato što se često otkriva prekasno za bilo kakvu učinkovitu terapiju. No, postoje neki rani upozoravajući znakovi na koje valja obratiti pozornost jer bi to moglo povećati šanse za preživljenje.
Neki se simptomi mogu pojaviti i na najnevjerojatnijim mjestima, što znači da ih se lako može zamijeniti s nečim drugim, piše britanski Express.
Jedan takav simptom može se čak pojaviti u stopalima i gležnjevima. Dobrotvorna organizacija Pancreatic Cancer UK opisuje kako pacijenti s rakom gušterače koji se “bliže kraju svog života” mogu imati nakupljanje tekućine u stopalima i gležnjevima. To je u medicini poznato kao edem i uzrokuje oticanje koje može biti neugodno i bolno.
Također može otežati pravilno kretanje.

Dobrotvorna organizacija objašnjava: “Tekućina se također može nakupiti u drugim dijelovima vašeg tijela, kao što su ruke, noge i stopala. Neki ljudi također dobiju edem na genitalijama. Edem može biti neugodan i bolan te vam može otežati kretanje.”
Bolest također može uzrokovati nakupljanje tekućine u abdomenu, što je stanje poznato kao ascites.
“Možda imate oticanje u trbuhu i možete se brzo osjećati siti dok jedete”, kažu iz dobrotvorne organizacije Pancreatic Cancer UK. “Možda će vam biti teže kretati se i možete ostati bez daha. Ako imate bilo koji od ovih simptoma, obavijestite svog liječnika. Također će vam možda biti udobnije koristiti jastuke da se poduprete dok spavate.”
Ostali simptomi
Drugi simptomi raka gušterače mogu uključivati:
- Bjeloočnice ili koža požute (žutica), a možete imati i svrbež kože
- Tamnija mokraća i blijeđa stolica no inače
- Gubitak apetita ili gubitak težine bez pokušaja mršavljenja
- Osjećaj umora ili nedostatka energije
- Visoka temperatura ili osjećaj vrućine ili drhtavice.
NHS navodi da bolest također može utjecati na vašu probavu.
To može uzrokovati:
– Osjećaj mučnine
– Proljev ili zatvor ili druge promjene u stolici
– Bol u gornjem dijelu trbuha i leđa, koja se može pogoršati dok jedete ili ležite, a poboljšati kada se nagnete naprijed
– Simptomi probavnih smetnji, poput osjećaja nadutosti.
Ako osjetite bilo kakve simptome raka gušterače, trebali biste što prije razgovarati sa svojim liječnikom opće prakse.
