Prijatelj koji se odselio u inozemstvo poklonio mi je malog sedam metara dugog krstaša, jedrilicu proizvedenu u Engleskoj sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća. Dugo je bila raspremljena, ali je sva oprema prilično dobro očuvana, tako da sam je bez veće investicije lako opremio i koristio gotovo cijelo prošlo ljeto. Međutim, imam jedan problem koji se stalno ponavlja. Lijeva škota genoe često se zaglavi u vinču, nekad toliko jako da ju je teško izvući. Koji je tome razlog i mogu li to kako riješiti?

Razloga zaglavljivanja konopa u vinču škote floka može biti više. Najčešće se to događa kod mijenjanja uzdi, kada popuštena privjetrinska škota nije na vrijeme prikupljena i njezino zatezanje započnete kasno, a oko vinča ste zamotali koji namotaj više.

Brzim potezanjem tako nenategnutog konopa jedan namotaj lako može preskočiti drugi, a u sljedećih nekoliko okretaja vinča zaglavi i onu stranu konopa kojom ga zatežete. Ako konop još nije jako zategnut, lako ga možete istrgnuti i ponovno pravilno namotati, a kad se zategne to je nešto kompliciranije.

Pramac u vjetar

​Nekada je dovoljno malo zaorcati, okrenuti pramac više u vjetar, da se prednje jedro isprazni i rastereti škotu s prednje strane vinča, ali kada je ona zategnuta do kraja ili gotovo do kraja, tada se nema što popustiti. U tim situacijama opterećenje s prednje strane vinča potrebno je prebaciti na neki drugi konop, direktno s roglja jedra ili vezivanjem zapore na zategnutu škotu.

Pretpostavljam da dok namotavate škotu oko vinča pazite na to da su vam namotaji pravilno posloženi jedan iznad drugog. Čak i ako nije tako, dok škotu još zatežete rukama, vinč će se okretati, a krivo postavljen namotaj sam podignuti na vrh.

Konop se u vinču uglavnom zaglavi onim krajem koji mu dolazi na bubanj tako da preskoči prvi namotaj, a daljnjim okretanjem vinča samo se podiže preko ostalih sve dok ne zaglavi škotu. Razlog tomu je kut pod kojim je škota postavljena prema vinču.

Kako ne bi bilo zabune prilikom namatanja konopa na vinč, svi vinčevi na jedrilici okreću se u istom smjeru, i to u smjeru kazaljke na satu. Iznimka može biti samo na nekim starijim manjim jedrilicama, i to upravo na lijevom vinču škote prednjeg jedra.

Dodavanje namotaja

Kao uglavnom i sve na palubi, vinčevi uz kokpit postavljeni su simetrično, a klizač na šini škote floka s obje strane jednako je udaljen od vinča.

Međutim, namatanje konopa na desni vinč počinje s vanjske, a na lijevi s unutarnje strane kokpita. Samim time, kut pod kojim je škota postavljena prema vinču nije jednak, a na manjim jedrilicama ta razlika nije beznačajna, odnosno ako je taj kut na desnoj škoti dobar, na lijevoj vrlo vjerojatno nije.

Osim toga, kod šina postavljenih uz kabinu, lijeva škota će strugati po rubu kabine. Lijevi vinč koji se okreće u suprotnom smjeru može biti rješenje, ali takav često unosi zabunu, pa je ta opcija napuštena.

Bolje rješenje je iza klizača škote postaviti dodatni prijenos, bocel s hvatištem na razmi ili više prema krmi preko kojeg je kut škota povoljno postavljen prema vinču.

Ako vam se čini da su škote genoe koji metar duže negoli je potrebno, a za neke bocele mislili da su višak ili su tu za rezervu, to znači da je vaša jedrilica već imala taj dodatni prijenos, ali ga vi niste postavili.

Ima još jedan detalj koji bi možda bilo dobro spomenuti. Radi kasnijeg lakšeg zatezanja netko ima naviku konopom odmah namotati cijeli bubanj vinča, što isto može biti razlog blokiranja vinča. Za početak konop zatežite s manje namotaja, a kako zatezanje postaje teže, tek tada dodajte još namotaj, dva više.

Prijatelj koji se odselio u inozemstvo poklonio mi je malog sedam metara dugog krstaša, jedrilicu proizvedenu u Engleskoj sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća. Dugo je bila raspremljena, ali je sva oprema prilično dobro očuvana, tako da sam je bez veće investicije lako opremio i koristio gotovo cijelo prošlo ljeto. Međutim, imam jedan problem koji se stalno ponavlja. Lijeva škota genoe često se zaglavi u vinču, nekad toliko jako da ju je teško izvući. Koji je tome razlog i mogu li to kako riješiti?

Razloga zaglavljivanja konopa u vinču škote floka može biti više. Najčešće se to događa kod mijenjanja uzdi, kada popuštena privjetrinska škota nije na vrijeme prikupljena i njezino zatezanje započnete kasno, a oko vinča ste zamotali koji namotaj više.

Brzim potezanjem tako nenategnutog konopa jedan namotaj lako može preskočiti drugi, a u sljedećih nekoliko okretaja vinča zaglavi i onu stranu konopa kojom ga zatežete. Ako konop još nije jako zategnut, lako ga možete istrgnuti i ponovno pravilno namotati, a kad se zategne to je nešto kompliciranije.

Pramac u vjetar

​Nekada je dovoljno malo zaorcati, okrenuti pramac više u vjetar, da se prednje jedro isprazni i rastereti škotu s prednje strane vinča, ali kada je ona zategnuta do kraja ili gotovo do kraja, tada se nema što popustiti. U tim situacijama opterećenje s prednje strane vinča potrebno je prebaciti na neki drugi konop, direktno s roglja jedra ili vezivanjem zapore na zategnutu škotu.

Pretpostavljam da dok namotavate škotu oko vinča pazite na to da su vam namotaji pravilno posloženi jedan iznad drugog. Čak i ako nije tako, dok škotu još zatežete rukama, vinč će se okretati, a krivo postavljen namotaj sam podignuti na vrh.

Konop se u vinču uglavnom zaglavi onim krajem koji mu dolazi na bubanj tako da preskoči prvi namotaj, a daljnjim okretanjem vinča samo se podiže preko ostalih sve dok ne zaglavi škotu. Razlog tomu je kut pod kojim je škota postavljena prema vinču.

Kako ne bi bilo zabune prilikom namatanja konopa na vinč, svi vinčevi na jedrilici okreću se u istom smjeru, i to u smjeru kazaljke na satu. Iznimka može biti samo na nekim starijim manjim jedrilicama, i to upravo na lijevom vinču škote prednjeg jedra.

Dodavanje namotaja

Kao uglavnom i sve na palubi, vinčevi uz kokpit postavljeni su simetrično, a klizač na šini škote floka s obje strane jednako je udaljen od vinča.

Međutim, namatanje konopa na desni vinč počinje s vanjske, a na lijevi s unutarnje strane kokpita. Samim time, kut pod kojim je škota postavljena prema vinču nije jednak, a na manjim jedrilicama ta razlika nije beznačajna, odnosno ako je taj kut na desnoj škoti dobar, na lijevoj vrlo vjerojatno nije.

Osim toga, kod šina postavljenih uz kabinu, lijeva škota će strugati po rubu kabine. Lijevi vinč koji se okreće u suprotnom smjeru može biti rješenje, ali takav često unosi zabunu, pa je ta opcija napuštena.

Bolje rješenje je iza klizača škote postaviti dodatni prijenos, bocel s hvatištem na razmi ili više prema krmi preko kojeg je kut škota povoljno postavljen prema vinču.

Ako vam se čini da su škote genoe koji metar duže negoli je potrebno, a za neke bocele mislili da su višak ili su tu za rezervu, to znači da je vaša jedrilica već imala taj dodatni prijenos, ali ga vi niste postavili.

Ima još jedan detalj koji bi možda bilo dobro spomenuti. Radi kasnijeg lakšeg zatezanja netko ima naviku konopom odmah namotati cijeli bubanj vinča, što isto može biti razlog blokiranja vinča. Za početak konop zatežite s manje namotaja, a kako zatezanje postaje teže, tek tada dodajte još namotaj, dva više.
