Plovidba se posljednjih mjeseci pokazala kao jedan od najsigurnijih načina za provođenje vremena na socijalnoj distanci. Nakon što je završilo razdoblje obiteljskih krstarenja, došlo je vrijeme da se sportski duh pusti iz boce. Kao što znamo, Labudova svjetiljka već 96 godina vrijedno svijetli i daje špirit Dioklecijanovu gradu, a pred nama je najvažnijih mjesec dana toga trofejnog jedriličarskog kluba. Prije nego što pravi igrači s najbržim jedrilicama u Jadranu odmjere snage na Viškoj i Mrdujskoj regati, Labudov tris započinje laganim zagrijavanjem oldtajmera u dvodnevnoj regati od Splita do Bobovišća, sukladno dobi natjecateljskih bolida, a i nekih posada, udaljenoj ugodnih 9,5 nautičkih milja.

Uz najavljeno suho i vjetrovito vrijeme i tropske temperature mora, to će biti prava poslastica za sve koji uživaju u babljem ljetu.
Kako nam je iz prve ruke prenijela tajnica kluba Rudolfa Širola Kliškić, prijavilo se čak 20 brodova, 15 plastičnih i pet drvenih, među kojima kao posebna atrakcija i leut Slobodne Dalmacije.
– Ovo je nakon dugi niz godina rekordan broj, lani smo ih imali 13. Koliko pamtim, ovo je prvi put da nam se leut priključio. Većina sudionika su članovi Labuda, iako imamo i Zentu, Split, Mornar i Špinut. Ista je ekipa vjerna regati iako je prosjek starosti brodova u našim lučicama sve veći pa nam stižu i novi natjecatelji – kazala je Širola Kliškić.

Jedrilica "Saracen" Čede Perića, poznata kao kulisa snimanja filma "Dubina" Orsona Wellesa, jedan je od zaštitnih znakova regate, a ove će godine zakasniti na start pa će sudjelovati samo u drugom poluvremenu regate. Sukladno aktualnom trenutku, svi sudionici oslobođeni su plaćanja startnine i priveza u Bobovišću. Regatni odbor, na čelu s Markom Bakašunom, podijelio je natjecatelje u dvije skupine, Classic za drvene i Vintage za jedrilice građene od modernijih materijala. Flote je u navigacijskoj regati startala s razmakom od 10 minuta da sve prođe u najboljem redu.

Svaki brod ima svoju zanimljivu priču, a leut Slobodne Dalmacije svjetski je putnik, poznat i publici u dalekom francuskom Brestu, gdje je na Festivalu mora i mornara 2008. godine zastupao boje Hrvatske. Sumartinski kalafat Nikola Staničić tada ga je vratio u život jer su mu Korčulani kobilicu postavili daleke 1894. godine. I danas živahno plovi i ukrašava vizuru Omiša, gdje se o njemu lijepo brinu.
Gostovanju leuta na regati kumovala je udruga Cronaves, koja je ove godine otkazala dva nastupa, svibanjski u Francuskoj i rujanski u SAD-u. Da ne bi cijela sezona otišla u zaborav, odlučili su se aktivirati na domaćem terenu i uveličati ovogodišnji Labud Classic. Ekipi iz Cronavesa na leutu će se priključiti jedriličar Krešimir Đakulović u ulozi novinara Slobodne Dalmacije i Otvorenog mora, te Cropixov fotograf Duje Klarić, koji će izvještavati o svim aktivnostima na regatnom polju i u Bobovišću.

Plovidba se posljednjih mjeseci pokazala kao jedan od najsigurnijih načina za provođenje vremena na socijalnoj distanci. Nakon što je završilo razdoblje obiteljskih krstarenja, došlo je vrijeme da se sportski duh pusti iz boce. Kao što znamo, Labudova svjetiljka već 96 godina vrijedno svijetli i daje špirit Dioklecijanovu gradu, a pred nama je najvažnijih mjesec dana toga trofejnog jedriličarskog kluba. Prije nego što pravi igrači s najbržim jedrilicama u Jadranu odmjere snage na Viškoj i Mrdujskoj regati, Labudov tris započinje laganim zagrijavanjem oldtajmera u dvodnevnoj regati od Splita do Bobovišća, sukladno dobi natjecateljskih bolida, a i nekih posada, udaljenoj ugodnih 9,5 nautičkih milja.

Uz najavljeno suho i vjetrovito vrijeme i tropske temperature mora, to će biti prava poslastica za sve koji uživaju u babljem ljetu.
Kako nam je iz prve ruke prenijela tajnica kluba Rudolfa Širola Kliškić, prijavilo se čak 20 brodova, 15 plastičnih i pet drvenih, među kojima kao posebna atrakcija i leut Slobodne Dalmacije.
– Ovo je nakon dugi niz godina rekordan broj, lani smo ih imali 13. Koliko pamtim, ovo je prvi put da nam se leut priključio. Većina sudionika su članovi Labuda, iako imamo i Zentu, Split, Mornar i Špinut. Ista je ekipa vjerna regati iako je prosjek starosti brodova u našim lučicama sve veći pa nam stižu i novi natjecatelji – kazala je Širola Kliškić.

Jedrilica "Saracen" Čede Perića, poznata kao kulisa snimanja filma "Dubina" Orsona Wellesa, jedan je od zaštitnih znakova regate, a ove će godine zakasniti na start pa će sudjelovati samo u drugom poluvremenu regate. Sukladno aktualnom trenutku, svi sudionici oslobođeni su plaćanja startnine i priveza u Bobovišću. Regatni odbor, na čelu s Markom Bakašunom, podijelio je natjecatelje u dvije skupine, Classic za drvene i Vintage za jedrilice građene od modernijih materijala. Flote je u navigacijskoj regati startala s razmakom od 10 minuta da sve prođe u najboljem redu.

Svaki brod ima svoju zanimljivu priču, a leut Slobodne Dalmacije svjetski je putnik, poznat i publici u dalekom francuskom Brestu, gdje je na Festivalu mora i mornara 2008. godine zastupao boje Hrvatske. Sumartinski kalafat Nikola Staničić tada ga je vratio u život jer su mu Korčulani kobilicu postavili daleke 1894. godine. I danas živahno plovi i ukrašava vizuru Omiša, gdje se o njemu lijepo brinu.
Gostovanju leuta na regati kumovala je udruga Cronaves, koja je ove godine otkazala dva nastupa, svibanjski u Francuskoj i rujanski u SAD-u. Da ne bi cijela sezona otišla u zaborav, odlučili su se aktivirati na domaćem terenu i uveličati ovogodišnji Labud Classic. Ekipi iz Cronavesa na leutu će se priključiti jedriličar Krešimir Đakulović u ulozi novinara Slobodne Dalmacije i Otvorenog mora, te Cropixov fotograf Duje Klarić, koji će izvještavati o svim aktivnostima na regatnom polju i u Bobovišću.

Plovidba se posljednjih mjeseci pokazala kao jedan od najsigurnijih načina za provođenje vremena na socijalnoj distanci. Nakon što je završilo razdoblje obiteljskih krstarenja, došlo je vrijeme da se sportski duh pusti iz boce. Kao što znamo, Labudova svjetiljka već 96 godina vrijedno svijetli i daje špirit Dioklecijanovu gradu, a pred nama je najvažnijih mjesec dana toga trofejnog jedriličarskog kluba. Prije nego što pravi igrači s najbržim jedrilicama u Jadranu odmjere snage na Viškoj i Mrdujskoj regati, Labudov tris započinje laganim zagrijavanjem oldtajmera u dvodnevnoj regati od Splita do Bobovišća, sukladno dobi natjecateljskih bolida, a i nekih posada, udaljenoj ugodnih 9,5 nautičkih milja.

Uz najavljeno suho i vjetrovito vrijeme i tropske temperature mora, to će biti prava poslastica za sve koji uživaju u babljem ljetu.
Kako nam je iz prve ruke prenijela tajnica kluba Rudolfa Širola Kliškić, prijavilo se čak 20 brodova, 15 plastičnih i pet drvenih, među kojima kao posebna atrakcija i leut Slobodne Dalmacije.
