U organizaciji jedriličarskog kluba Labud, od 5. do 9. svibnja u Splitu će se održati Svjetski kup u jedrenju na dasci, i to u posve novoj olimpijskoj klasi iQFOiL.

Najbrža rastuća disciplina novog doba jedrenja dolazi u Split, a budući da je ovo prva regata u 2021. godini natjecatelji je očekuju s velikim nestrpljenjem. 

"Jedriličarski klub Labud u svojih gotovo 100 godina postojanja uvijek je bio predvodnik novih trendova jedrenja u Splitu i Hrvatskoj, pa tako i ove godine postajemo domaćini prve svjetske regate nove olimpijske klase iQFOiL. Unatoč izazovnim pandemijskim vremenima očekujemo uzbudljivu regatu te se posebno veselimo što će budućnost svjetskog jedrenja postati dio svakodnevice Splita i naših jedriličara", kazao je direktor regate Ivan Kljaković Gašpić.

iQFOiL nova je olimpijska klasa, nastala kao odgovor na mnoge promjene u svijetu jedrenja koje se događaju posljednjih desetak godina, s naglaskom na brzini jedrenja. Ova kategorija zasniva se na foiling tehnologiji, a prepoznatljiva je po tome što natjecatelji lebde iznad mora, zahvaljujući podvodnom krilu koje stvara uzgon i smanjuje otpor kretanja kroz more. Slična tehnologija je viđena na regati samaca Vendee Globeu. 

"Iznimno smo ponosni da upravo JK Labud i hrvatsko jedrenje imaju priliku postaviti povijesne trendove i biti jedan od glavnih pokretača novog svjetskog jedriličarskog pokreta. Pozvao bih sve zainteresirane da sa sigurne udaljenosti iz hladovine Sustipana pogledaju nezaboravno futurističko natjecanje lebdećih dasaka i da podrže naše perjanice jedrenja na dasci i olimpijske nade Palmu Čargo i Luku Mratovića", kazao je Kljaković-Gašpić.

Partner ovogodišnje regate je Green Sail, neprofitna organizacija koja promiče ekološke vrijednosti i održivi turizam, čime ovaj događaj dobiva cjelokupni ekološki karakter. Regata se održava uz potporu grada Splita i Turističke zajednice grada Splita te uz sponzorstvo ACI Saila.

U organizaciji jedriličarskog kluba Labud, od 5. do 9. svibnja u Splitu će se održati Svjetski kup u jedrenju na dasci, i to u posve novoj olimpijskoj klasi iQFOiL.

Najbrža rastuća disciplina novog doba jedrenja dolazi u Split, a budući da je ovo prva regata u 2021. godini natjecatelji je očekuju s velikim nestrpljenjem. 

"Jedriličarski klub Labud u svojih gotovo 100 godina postojanja uvijek je bio predvodnik novih trendova jedrenja u Splitu i Hrvatskoj, pa tako i ove godine postajemo domaćini prve svjetske regate nove olimpijske klase iQFOiL. Unatoč izazovnim pandemijskim vremenima očekujemo uzbudljivu regatu te se posebno veselimo što će budućnost svjetskog jedrenja postati dio svakodnevice Splita i naših jedriličara", kazao je direktor regate Ivan Kljaković Gašpić.

iQFOiL nova je olimpijska klasa, nastala kao odgovor na mnoge promjene u svijetu jedrenja koje se događaju posljednjih desetak godina, s naglaskom na brzini jedrenja. Ova kategorija zasniva se na foiling tehnologiji, a prepoznatljiva je po tome što natjecatelji lebde iznad mora, zahvaljujući podvodnom krilu koje stvara uzgon i smanjuje otpor kretanja kroz more. Slična tehnologija je viđena na regati samaca Vendee Globeu. 

"Iznimno smo ponosni da upravo JK Labud i hrvatsko jedrenje imaju priliku postaviti povijesne trendove i biti jedan od glavnih pokretača novog svjetskog jedriličarskog pokreta. Pozvao bih sve zainteresirane da sa sigurne udaljenosti iz hladovine Sustipana pogledaju nezaboravno futurističko natjecanje lebdećih dasaka i da podrže naše perjanice jedrenja na dasci i olimpijske nade Palmu Čargo i Luku Mratovića", kazao je Kljaković-Gašpić.

Partner ovogodišnje regate je Green Sail, neprofitna organizacija koja promiče ekološke vrijednosti i održivi turizam, čime ovaj događaj dobiva cjelokupni ekološki karakter. Regata se održava uz potporu grada Splita i Turističke zajednice grada Splita te uz sponzorstvo ACI Saila.

U organizaciji jedriličarskog kluba Labud, od 5. do 9. svibnja u Splitu će se održati Svjetski kup u jedrenju na dasci, i to u posve novoj olimpijskoj klasi iQFOiL.

Najbrža rastuća disciplina novog doba jedrenja dolazi u Split, a budući da je ovo prva regata u 2021. godini natjecatelji je očekuju s velikim nestrpljenjem. 

"Jedriličarski klub Labud u svojih gotovo 100 godina postojanja uvijek je bio predvodnik novih trendova jedrenja u Splitu i Hrvatskoj, pa tako i ove godine postajemo domaćini prve svjetske regate nove olimpijske klase iQFOiL. Unatoč izazovnim pandemijskim vremenima očekujemo uzbudljivu regatu te se posebno veselimo što će budućnost svjetskog jedrenja postati dio svakodnevice Splita i naših jedriličara", kazao je direktor regate Ivan Kljaković Gašpić.

iQFOiL nova je olimpijska klasa, nastala kao odgovor na mnoge promjene u svijetu jedrenja koje se događaju posljednjih desetak godina, s naglaskom na brzini jedrenja. Ova kategorija zasniva se na foiling tehnologiji, a prepoznatljiva je po tome što natjecatelji lebde iznad mora, zahvaljujući podvodnom krilu koje stvara uzgon i smanjuje otpor kretanja kroz more. Slična tehnologija je viđena na regati samaca Vendee Globeu. 

"Iznimno smo ponosni da upravo JK Labud i hrvatsko jedrenje imaju priliku postaviti povijesne trendove i biti jedan od glavnih pokretača novog svjetskog jedriličarskog pokreta. Pozvao bih sve zainteresirane da sa sigurne udaljenosti iz hladovine Sustipana pogledaju nezaboravno futurističko natjecanje lebdećih dasaka i da podrže naše perjanice jedrenja na dasci i olimpijske nade Palmu Čargo i Luku Mratovića", kazao je Kljaković-Gašpić.

Partner ovogodišnje regate je Green Sail, neprofitna organizacija koja promiče ekološke vrijednosti i održivi turizam, čime ovaj događaj dobiva cjelokupni ekološki karakter. Regata se održava uz potporu grada Splita i Turističke zajednice grada Splita te uz sponzorstvo ACI Saila.
