Kasne devedesete. Povratak s obiteljskog krstarenja oko Lastova koje smo produljili za par dana, pa nam sada predstoji noćna plovidba kući.

Proteklog tjedna je noću bilo jače bure te se nadam dobrom jedrenju. Popodnevno kupanje i frigane pirke za večeru u Skrivenoj luci pa oko desete ure isplovljavamo.

Plovimo motorom i nakon izlaska iz lijepe i zaklonjene Skrivene luke, skrećemo ulijevo prema sjeveroistoku.

Obilazimo visoku klisuru na kojoj se uzdiže lanterna Struga, jedna od najvažnijih na Jadranu, i odmah dobijemo u provu dosta mora od friške bure. Prova se povremeno uzdigne pa potom tresne, a more zalijeva prozore natkabine. Iz pramčane kabine odzvanja dječji smijeh.

Noć je bez mjesečine i samo u trenutku kada Struga bljesne mrak posivi i naziremo zapjenjene valove oko nas. S desne strane tek naslućujemo prekrasni arhipelag Lastovnjaka gdje smo provodili dane u kupanju, jedrenju i ribolovu. Ona sjedi pored mene dok odmičemo u smjeru NE, prema buri.

Nešto kasnije Njoj prepuštam kormilo i, pridržavajući se za sarče, idem na provu i podignem glavno jedro koje odmah divljački zaleprša. Nekoliko minuta kasnije sam opet za kormilom i skrećem brodom ulijevo, a jedro prihvati vjetar i smiruje se.

Brod se blago nagne i posrtanje prijeđe u lagano valjanje. Neveliki, ali moćni američki motorsailer može podnijeti puno mora, ali i traži puno vjetra i jedara. Polako odmotam veliku genovu i ugasim motor.

Potmulu tutnjavu motora zamijeni zapljuskivanje valova i fijuk bure u sarčama. Pritegnem škoticu genove i namjestim jedra za jedrenje u pola krme.

Svjetla Prižbe i Brna

Palucanje Struge nas ispraća u mrak Lastovskog kanala i zvjezdanu noć kasnog kolovoza, a smijeh iz pramčane kabine je utihnuo. Lijevo, na Lastovu, ostavljamo rijetka svjetla Svetog Mihovila, nekoliko kuća stisnutih u slikovitoj uvalici.

Desno, preko Lastovskog kanala, gledamo svjetla Prižbe i Brna na južnoj obali Korčule, a na nebu ponad otoka vidi se odbljesak svjetala gradova skrivenih našem pogledu, Korčule, Blata i Vele Luke.

Provu držim prema punti Velo Dance, na zapadu otoka Korčule. “Hoćeš čaj?”, pita me Ona. “Hladnu bevandu. Žedan sam od večere.”

Nakon bevande donese jastuk i dekicu pa legne na klupu u kokpitu. “Ne želim propustiti ovu prekrasnu noć”, kaže i nakon pet minuta blaženo spava.

Za nama se ustrajno vuče svjetleća brazda po kojoj poskakuje naš gumeni bajbot. Udobno zavaljen u kormilarskoj sjedalici lagano pridržavam kormilo tek povremeno ispravljajući smjer.

To se dogodi kada jači reful bure nagne brod, a provu povuče u vjetar. Oko ponoći obilazimo puntu Velo Dance pa malo skrenem udesno prema Hvaru, a jedra pritegnem jer sada imamo buru nešto više u bok.

Dok prilazimo otočiću Proizd nakratko se, u dnu dubokog zaljeva, pokažu svjetla Vele Luke.

Lijevo u daljini gledam žmirkava svjetla na otoku Visu koja, u pravilnim razmacima, nadjačava bljesak moćne Stončice. Kao i obično, Ona priča u snu.

Gledam je zamotanu u dekicu i u misli mi dolaze “Zlatni dukati” i pjesma “Svirci moji...”.

Što li sanja? Možda slavonske ravnice iz kojih sam je oteo da bih je vukao po moru, koje je zavoljela kao što i Slavoniju uvijek nosi u srcu. Iz mraka pramčane kabine niti glasa.

Krijeste s valova

Čime li sam zaslužio ovu radost noćnog jedrenja? Gledajući daleka svjetla na okolnim otocima i brodovima razmišljam o ljudima čije živote osvjetljavaju. Neki su za kormilom i bdiju nad snom onih koji spavaju. Zasigurno neki sanjare promatrajući zvjezdano nebo.

U noćima bez mjeseca ono je isprobadano s puno više zvijezda jer tada i one najskromnije i najstidljivije skupe hrabrost iskoračiti iz mraka svemira da se pokažu i ugrabe svoj trenutak slave.

Sivilo zore nas je zateklo u kanalu nadomak Paklenim otocima, kada su zadnji izdisaji bure jedva uspjeli otpuhati i posljednje zvijezde, koje su se još grčevito držale neba. Svjetleća brazda, koju smo čitave noći vukli za sobom, umorno je zgasnula u blijedom jutru koje je izbrisalo svjetla i lanterne koji su nas pratili te noći.

U sivilu sjećanja polako blijede i nestaju slike, zvukovi i mirisi davnih krstarenja. Vrijeme je s naših tijela ispralo sol, koju su maestrali nanosili trgajući krijeste s valova s kojima smo se naganjali.

Zagledavši se u krmeni val mojega života vidim nasmiješena lica dragih ljudi s kojima sam dijelio radost plovidbe i opčinjenost morem. Iz sigurnosti pramčane kabine djeca su otišla vođena nekim svojim zvijezdama.

Za sobom su ostavila svoj smijeh koji ponekad, ali samo ponekad, čujem u tišini noći kada i disanje mora postane jedva čujno.

Otišla je i Ona privučena svjetlima neke daleke obale. Ja i dalje plovim istim rutama i dobro poznatim plavim putovima.

I tek ponekad, ali samo ponekad, ako je noć posebno tiha, u mraku kabine začujem kako netko priča u snu.

Kasne devedesete. Povratak s obiteljskog krstarenja oko Lastova koje smo produljili za par dana, pa nam sada predstoji noćna plovidba kući.

Proteklog tjedna je noću bilo jače bure te se nadam dobrom jedrenju. Popodnevno kupanje i frigane pirke za večeru u Skrivenoj luci pa oko desete ure isplovljavamo.

Plovimo motorom i nakon izlaska iz lijepe i zaklonjene Skrivene luke, skrećemo ulijevo prema sjeveroistoku.

Obilazimo visoku klisuru na kojoj se uzdiže lanterna Struga, jedna od najvažnijih na Jadranu, i odmah dobijemo u provu dosta mora od friške bure. Prova se povremeno uzdigne pa potom tresne, a more zalijeva prozore natkabine. Iz pramčane kabine odzvanja dječji smijeh.

Noć je bez mjesečine i samo u trenutku kada Struga bljesne mrak posivi i naziremo zapjenjene valove oko nas. S desne strane tek naslućujemo prekrasni arhipelag Lastovnjaka gdje smo provodili dane u kupanju, jedrenju i ribolovu. Ona sjedi pored mene dok odmičemo u smjeru NE, prema buri.

Nešto kasnije Njoj prepuštam kormilo i, pridržavajući se za sarče, idem na provu i podignem glavno jedro koje odmah divljački zaleprša. Nekoliko minuta kasnije sam opet za kormilom i skrećem brodom ulijevo, a jedro prihvati vjetar i smiruje se.

Brod se blago nagne i posrtanje prijeđe u lagano valjanje. Neveliki, ali moćni američki motorsailer može podnijeti puno mora, ali i traži puno vjetra i jedara. Polako odmotam veliku genovu i ugasim motor.

Potmulu tutnjavu motora zamijeni zapljuskivanje valova i fijuk bure u sarčama. Pritegnem škoticu genove i namjestim jedra za jedrenje u pola krme.

Svjetla Prižbe i Brna

Palucanje Struge nas ispraća u mrak Lastovskog kanala i zvjezdanu noć kasnog kolovoza, a smijeh iz pramčane kabine je utihnuo. Lijevo, na Lastovu, ostavljamo rijetka svjetla Svetog Mihovila, nekoliko kuća stisnutih u slikovitoj uvalici.

Desno, preko Lastovskog kanala, gledamo svjetla Prižbe i Brna na južnoj obali Korčule, a na nebu ponad otoka vidi se odbljesak svjetala gradova skrivenih našem pogledu, Korčule, Blata i Vele Luke.

Provu držim prema punti Velo Dance, na zapadu otoka Korčule. “Hoćeš čaj?”, pita me Ona. “Hladnu bevandu. Žedan sam od večere.”

Nakon bevande donese jastuk i dekicu pa legne na klupu u kokpitu. “Ne želim propustiti ovu prekrasnu noć”, kaže i nakon pet minuta blaženo spava.

Za nama se ustrajno vuče svjetleća brazda po kojoj poskakuje naš gumeni bajbot. Udobno zavaljen u kormilarskoj sjedalici lagano pridržavam kormilo tek povremeno ispravljajući smjer.

To se dogodi kada jači reful bure nagne brod, a provu povuče u vjetar. Oko ponoći obilazimo puntu Velo Dance pa malo skrenem udesno prema Hvaru, a jedra pritegnem jer sada imamo buru nešto više u bok.

Dok prilazimo otočiću Proizd nakratko se, u dnu dubokog zaljeva, pokažu svjetla Vele Luke.

Lijevo u daljini gledam žmirkava svjetla na otoku Visu koja, u pravilnim razmacima, nadjačava bljesak moćne Stončice. Kao i obično, Ona priča u snu.

Gledam je zamotanu u dekicu i u misli mi dolaze “Zlatni dukati” i pjesma “Svirci moji...”.

Što li sanja? Možda slavonske ravnice iz kojih sam je oteo da bih je vukao po moru, koje je zavoljela kao što i Slavoniju uvijek nosi u srcu. Iz mraka pramčane kabine niti glasa.

Krijeste s valova

Čime li sam zaslužio ovu radost noćnog jedrenja? Gledajući daleka svjetla na okolnim otocima i brodovima razmišljam o ljudima čije živote osvjetljavaju. Neki su za kormilom i bdiju nad snom onih koji spavaju. Zasigurno neki sanjare promatrajući zvjezdano nebo.

U noćima bez mjeseca ono je isprobadano s puno više zvijezda jer tada i one najskromnije i najstidljivije skupe hrabrost iskoračiti iz mraka svemira da se pokažu i ugrabe svoj trenutak slave.

Sivilo zore nas je zateklo u kanalu nadomak Paklenim otocima, kada su zadnji izdisaji bure jedva uspjeli otpuhati i posljednje zvijezde, koje su se još grčevito držale neba. Svjetleća brazda, koju smo čitave noći vukli za sobom, umorno je zgasnula u blijedom jutru koje je izbrisalo svjetla i lanterne koji su nas pratili te noći.

U sivilu sjećanja polako blijede i nestaju slike, zvukovi i mirisi davnih krstarenja. Vrijeme je s naših tijela ispralo sol, koju su maestrali nanosili trgajući krijeste s valova s kojima smo se naganjali.

Zagledavši se u krmeni val mojega života vidim nasmiješena lica dragih ljudi s kojima sam dijelio radost plovidbe i opčinjenost morem. Iz sigurnosti pramčane kabine djeca su otišla vođena nekim svojim zvijezdama.

Za sobom su ostavila svoj smijeh koji ponekad, ali samo ponekad, čujem u tišini noći kada i disanje mora postane jedva čujno.

Otišla je i Ona privučena svjetlima neke daleke obale. Ja i dalje plovim istim rutama i dobro poznatim plavim putovima.

I tek ponekad, ali samo ponekad, ako je noć posebno tiha, u mraku kabine začujem kako netko priča u snu.
