Analitičari upozoravaju da brodare očekuje nekoliko godina koje će biti okarakterizirane viškom kapaciteta za prijevoz kontejnera, kao i procijenjenih 15 milijardi dolara gubitaka tijekom sljedeće godine zbog pada vozarina, piše TradeWinds, a prenosi Pomorac.hr.

Prema Sea-Intelligenceu (SeaIntel), višak kapaciteta će u najboljem slučaju obilježiti tržište kontejnerskog transporta sve do 2028. godine, a ako ekonomski uvjeti ne budu dobri, danski analitičar sugerira da bi se ovaj trend mogao produžiti i do 2030.

Najgori period što se tiče viška kapaciteta trebao bi biti tijekom sljedeće godine, a bit će potrebno do 2026. da se amortizira samo jedna trećina toga viška.

Većina analitičara smatra da će kontejnerski sektor imati višak kapaciteta do 2025. godine. Međutim, utjecaj će se osjetiti i prije, a brodari se pripremaju zbrajati gubitke u drugoj polovici ove godine i tijekom 2024. godine.

“Iskreno, sljedeća godina će dovesti do sloma kontejnerskog sektora”, kazao je Simon Heaney, Drewryjev viši menadžer za istraživanje kontejnera.

SeaIntel priznaje da se njegova najpozitivnija prognoza temelji na “prilično optimističnom” scenariju. Taj scenarij iziskuje rast količine kontejnera od 3,8% na godišnjoj razini od 2024. i rast ponude od samo 1,3% nakon 2026., što su najniže razine u posljednjih 10 godina.

Drewry tvrdi da će trebati do 2026. da se rast flote i potražnje usklade jedno s drugim.

Takvo bi tržište moglo iscrpiti financijske rezerve brodara, rekao je Heaney.

Predviđa se da će brodari diljem industrije ostvariti operativnu dobit (EBIT) od 20 milijardi dolara za 2023., ali će već sljedeće godine bilježiti gubitak od 15 milijardi dolara jer vozarine nastavljaju padati, rekao je Heaney.

Prije toga, Drewry je projicirao da će ravnoteža ponude i potražnje za 2024. biti na najgoroj razini od 2009. To je zbog uvođenja dodatnih 1,8 milijuna TEU neto u globalnu flotu, rekao je na webinaru 24. listopada.

Početne projekcije za 2025. ukazuju na još jednu godinu pritiska za kontejnerski prijevoz, prema Clarksons Researchu. Clarskonsovi analitičari ističu značajnu knjigu narudžbi, s mogućnošću isporuke više od 2 milijuna TEU treću godinu zaredom.

Rast ponude procjenjuje se na oko 5%, a predviđa se da će pomorskI prijevoz kontejnera rasti za umjerenih 3%. Predviđa se da će kapacitet flote do kraja 2025. biti više od 20% iznad razina početkom 2023., prema Clarksonsu.

Sporije brzine plovila mogle bi ublažiti dio pritiska prema dolje, pomažući tržištima da potencijalno dosegnu “donju razinu” kako se makroekonomski uvjeti stabiliziraju, rekao je Clarksons.

Prognoza će se dodatno poboljšati ako se poveća broj rashodovanih brodova – što većina pretpostavlja da hoće – iako zasad nema mnogo znakova da će se to dogoditi.

U prvih devet mjeseci ove godine reciklirano je 57 brodova, u usporedbi s prosjekom od 81 u prethodnih 10 godina, prema Nielsu Rasmussenu, glavnom analitičaru za otpremu u Bimcu. To je unatoč tome što prosječna starost kontejnerskih brodova doseže najveću razinu od 14,2 godine.

Neki su skeptični da će otpisivanje brodova učiniti veliku razliku, s obzirom na to koliko je velika knjiga narudžbi.

Drewry predviđa četverostruko povećanje recikliranih brodova sljedeće godine, oko 600.000 TEU, ali smatra da to neće biti dovoljno da pomogne tržištu.

Očekuje se da će vozarine ove godine pasti za 60%, a 2024. za daljnjih 33%, istaknuo je analitičar.

“Brodari su prekasno odlučili smanjiti kapacitet kako bi vratili stvari u svoju korist – ono što trebaju učiniti jednostavno je prevelik izazov da bi ga mogli izvesti”, rekao je Heaney.

Dok analitičari generalno smatraju da budućnost za kontejnerska tržišta nije baš svijetla, brodari se ne daju obeshrabriti.

Iako su pred nama nemirna mora, rast je još uvijek na horizontu, rekao je Stanley Smulders, direktor marketinga japanskog brodara Ocean Network Express.

“Trenutačno tržište je u najboljem slučaju nestabilno, ali treba gledati globalno. Još uvijek postoje trgovine koje rastu, a s njima će i posao nastaviti rasti”, rekao je na summitu pod organizacijom Xeneta portala.

Smulders je istaknuo upravljanje ponudom i potražnjom kao ključni prioritet, posebno s rastućom flotom.

„Industrija je naručila puno brodova prije nekoliko godina i oni se isporučuju sada, sljedeće godine i godinu kasnije. Ljudi će reći da smo pretjerali i to vjerojatno je istina. Ali, postoje različiti načini za rješavanje ovoga. Neki postojeći brodovi bit će rashodovani, neki preraspoređeni, a mi ćemo usporiti kako bismo kontrolirali kapacitet.”, prenosi Pomorac.hr.

Analitičari upozoravaju da brodare očekuje nekoliko godina koje će biti okarakterizirane viškom kapaciteta za prijevoz kontejnera, kao i procijenjenih 15 milijardi dolara gubitaka tijekom sljedeće godine zbog pada vozarina, piše TradeWinds, a prenosi Pomorac.hr.

Prema Sea-Intelligenceu (SeaIntel), višak kapaciteta će u najboljem slučaju obilježiti tržište kontejnerskog transporta sve do 2028. godine, a ako ekonomski uvjeti ne budu dobri, danski analitičar sugerira da bi se ovaj trend mogao produžiti i do 2030.

Najgori period što se tiče viška kapaciteta trebao bi biti tijekom sljedeće godine, a bit će potrebno do 2026. da se amortizira samo jedna trećina toga viška.

Većina analitičara smatra da će kontejnerski sektor imati višak kapaciteta do 2025. godine. Međutim, utjecaj će se osjetiti i prije, a brodari se pripremaju zbrajati gubitke u drugoj polovici ove godine i tijekom 2024. godine.

“Iskreno, sljedeća godina će dovesti do sloma kontejnerskog sektora”, kazao je Simon Heaney, Drewryjev viši menadžer za istraživanje kontejnera.

SeaIntel priznaje da se njegova najpozitivnija prognoza temelji na “prilično optimističnom” scenariju. Taj scenarij iziskuje rast količine kontejnera od 3,8% na godišnjoj razini od 2024. i rast ponude od samo 1,3% nakon 2026., što su najniže razine u posljednjih 10 godina.

Drewry tvrdi da će trebati do 2026. da se rast flote i potražnje usklade jedno s drugim.

Takvo bi tržište moglo iscrpiti financijske rezerve brodara, rekao je Heaney.

Predviđa se da će brodari diljem industrije ostvariti operativnu dobit (EBIT) od 20 milijardi dolara za 2023., ali će već sljedeće godine bilježiti gubitak od 15 milijardi dolara jer vozarine nastavljaju padati, rekao je Heaney.

Prije toga, Drewry je projicirao da će ravnoteža ponude i potražnje za 2024. biti na najgoroj razini od 2009. To je zbog uvođenja dodatnih 1,8 milijuna TEU neto u globalnu flotu, rekao je na webinaru 24. listopada.

Početne projekcije za 2025. ukazuju na još jednu godinu pritiska za kontejnerski prijevoz, prema Clarksons Researchu. Clarskonsovi analitičari ističu značajnu knjigu narudžbi, s mogućnošću isporuke više od 2 milijuna TEU treću godinu zaredom.

Rast ponude procjenjuje se na oko 5%, a predviđa se da će pomorskI prijevoz kontejnera rasti za umjerenih 3%. Predviđa se da će kapacitet flote do kraja 2025. biti više od 20% iznad razina početkom 2023., prema Clarksonsu.

Sporije brzine plovila mogle bi ublažiti dio pritiska prema dolje, pomažući tržištima da potencijalno dosegnu “donju razinu” kako se makroekonomski uvjeti stabiliziraju, rekao je Clarksons.

Prognoza će se dodatno poboljšati ako se poveća broj rashodovanih brodova – što većina pretpostavlja da hoće – iako zasad nema mnogo znakova da će se to dogoditi.

U prvih devet mjeseci ove godine reciklirano je 57 brodova, u usporedbi s prosjekom od 81 u prethodnih 10 godina, prema Nielsu Rasmussenu, glavnom analitičaru za otpremu u Bimcu. To je unatoč tome što prosječna starost kontejnerskih brodova doseže najveću razinu od 14,2 godine.

Neki su skeptični da će otpisivanje brodova učiniti veliku razliku, s obzirom na to koliko je velika knjiga narudžbi.

Drewry predviđa četverostruko povećanje recikliranih brodova sljedeće godine, oko 600.000 TEU, ali smatra da to neće biti dovoljno da pomogne tržištu.

Očekuje se da će vozarine ove godine pasti za 60%, a 2024. za daljnjih 33%, istaknuo je analitičar.

“Brodari su prekasno odlučili smanjiti kapacitet kako bi vratili stvari u svoju korist – ono što trebaju učiniti jednostavno je prevelik izazov da bi ga mogli izvesti”, rekao je Heaney.

Dok analitičari generalno smatraju da budućnost za kontejnerska tržišta nije baš svijetla, brodari se ne daju obeshrabriti.

Iako su pred nama nemirna mora, rast je još uvijek na horizontu, rekao je Stanley Smulders, direktor marketinga japanskog brodara Ocean Network Express.

“Trenutačno tržište je u najboljem slučaju nestabilno, ali treba gledati globalno. Još uvijek postoje trgovine koje rastu, a s njima će i posao nastaviti rasti”, rekao je na summitu pod organizacijom Xeneta portala.

Smulders je istaknuo upravljanje ponudom i potražnjom kao ključni prioritet, posebno s rastućom flotom.

„Industrija je naručila puno brodova prije nekoliko godina i oni se isporučuju sada, sljedeće godine i godinu kasnije. Ljudi će reći da smo pretjerali i to vjerojatno je istina. Ali, postoje različiti načini za rješavanje ovoga. Neki postojeći brodovi bit će rashodovani, neki preraspoređeni, a mi ćemo usporiti kako bismo kontrolirali kapacitet.”, prenosi Pomorac.hr.
