Ile du Diable ili Vražji otok, jedan je od triju otoka koji čine otočnu skupinu Iles de Salut pred obalom Francuske Gijane.

Od 1852. do 1952. služili su kao francuska kažnjenička kolonija kroz koju je prošlo oko 80.000 zatvorenika od koji se mnogi nikad nisu vratili.

Dva najpoznatija, i jedni od rijetkih koji su se s njega vratili, su francuski vojni kapetan Afred Dreyfusse i Henri Charriere.

Prvi nakon revizije sudskog procesa i rehabilitacije, a drugi, poznatiji kao Papillon, nakon spektakularnog bijega na splavi od kokosovih oraha.

Francuske vlasti osporavaju tu priču i tvrde da on uopće nije bio zatvoren na Vražjem otoku.

Ile du Diable ili Vražji otok, jedan je od triju otoka koji čine otočnu skupinu Iles de Salut pred obalom Francuske Gijane.

Od 1852. do 1952. služili su kao francuska kažnjenička kolonija kroz koju je prošlo oko 80.000 zatvorenika od koji se mnogi nikad nisu vratili.

Dva najpoznatija, i jedni od rijetkih koji su se s njega vratili, su francuski vojni kapetan Afred Dreyfusse i Henri Charriere.

Prvi nakon revizije sudskog procesa i rehabilitacije, a drugi, poznatiji kao Papillon, nakon spektakularnog bijega na splavi od kokosovih oraha.

Francuske vlasti osporavaju tu priču i tvrde da on uopće nije bio zatvoren na Vražjem otoku.

Ile du Diable ili Vražji otok, jedan je od triju otoka koji čine otočnu skupinu Iles de Salut pred obalom Francuske Gijane.

Od 1852. do 1952. služili su kao francuska kažnjenička kolonija kroz koju je prošlo oko 80.000 zatvorenika od koji se mnogi nikad nisu vratili.

Dva najpoznatija, i jedni od rijetkih koji su se s njega vratili, su francuski vojni kapetan Afred Dreyfusse i Henri Charriere.

Prvi nakon revizije sudskog procesa i rehabilitacije, a drugi, poznatiji kao Papillon, nakon spektakularnog bijega na splavi od kokosovih oraha.

Francuske vlasti osporavaju tu priču i tvrde da on uopće nije bio zatvoren na Vražjem otoku.
