Nesretni grbavi kit, koji je bio zarobljen u vodama južno od Sydneya, konačno je oslobođen nakon iscrpljujuće osmosatne misije spašavanja, piše VauMijau.

Spašavanje je počelo u subotu ujutro, nakon izvješća o kitu koji je u nevolji kod Pet otoka u blizini luke Kembla. Volonterske ekipe iz Marine Rescue NSW i NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service pozvane su u pomoć oko 8.30 ujutro, piše Guardian.

Kit je bio posve zapetljan u gomilu užadi i koječega drugoga, pa je bio veliki izazov za spasioce da ga razmrse kako su se vremenski uvjeti pogoršavali, a drugi kitovi u tom području osujetili pokušaje izvlačenja. Nisu oni znali da mu ljudi žele pomoći, pa su ih pokušavali otjerati od svojeg prijatelja.

- Niz konopa i plovaka stršao je iz kita - rekao je inspektor Marine Rescue NSW Glenn Sullivan.

Specijalizirani tim Nacionalnih parkova za zaštitu divljih životinja pridružio se operaciji nešto poslije podneva.

Sullivan je najprije rekao da dobri vremenski uvjeti znače da je vjerojatno kako će akcija spašavanja biti uspješna. No, s promjenom južnog vjetra, slabljenjem svjetla i drugim kitovima u tom području, spasiocima je trebalo više od osam sati da oslobode sisavca, koji je otpetljan malo poslije 16.30.

- Spasilačke ekipe su izvan sebe. Drago nam je da je on slobodan i pliva sa svojim prijateljima - dodao je Sullivan.

Migracija kitova počinje u svibnju, kada sisavci krenu na sjever prije nego što započnu svoje putovanje prema jugu u kolovozu.

Vrhunac sezone događa se od lipnja do srpnja.

Nesretni grbavi kit, koji je bio zarobljen u vodama južno od Sydneya, konačno je oslobođen nakon iscrpljujuće osmosatne misije spašavanja, piše VauMijau.

Spašavanje je počelo u subotu ujutro, nakon izvješća o kitu koji je u nevolji kod Pet otoka u blizini luke Kembla. Volonterske ekipe iz Marine Rescue NSW i NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service pozvane su u pomoć oko 8.30 ujutro, piše Guardian.

Kit je bio posve zapetljan u gomilu užadi i koječega drugoga, pa je bio veliki izazov za spasioce da ga razmrse kako su se vremenski uvjeti pogoršavali, a drugi kitovi u tom području osujetili pokušaje izvlačenja. Nisu oni znali da mu ljudi žele pomoći, pa su ih pokušavali otjerati od svojeg prijatelja.

- Niz konopa i plovaka stršao je iz kita - rekao je inspektor Marine Rescue NSW Glenn Sullivan.

Specijalizirani tim Nacionalnih parkova za zaštitu divljih životinja pridružio se operaciji nešto poslije podneva.

Sullivan je najprije rekao da dobri vremenski uvjeti znače da je vjerojatno kako će akcija spašavanja biti uspješna. No, s promjenom južnog vjetra, slabljenjem svjetla i drugim kitovima u tom području, spasiocima je trebalo više od osam sati da oslobode sisavca, koji je otpetljan malo poslije 16.30.

- Spasilačke ekipe su izvan sebe. Drago nam je da je on slobodan i pliva sa svojim prijateljima - dodao je Sullivan.

Migracija kitova počinje u svibnju, kada sisavci krenu na sjever prije nego što započnu svoje putovanje prema jugu u kolovozu.

Vrhunac sezone događa se od lipnja do srpnja.

Nesretni grbavi kit, koji je bio zarobljen u vodama južno od Sydneya, konačno je oslobođen nakon iscrpljujuće osmosatne misije spašavanja, piše VauMijau.

Spašavanje je počelo u subotu ujutro, nakon izvješća o kitu koji je u nevolji kod Pet otoka u blizini luke Kembla. Volonterske ekipe iz Marine Rescue NSW i NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service pozvane su u pomoć oko 8.30 ujutro, piše Guardian.

Kit je bio posve zapetljan u gomilu užadi i koječega drugoga, pa je bio veliki izazov za spasioce da ga razmrse kako su se vremenski uvjeti pogoršavali, a drugi kitovi u tom području osujetili pokušaje izvlačenja. Nisu oni znali da mu ljudi žele pomoći, pa su ih pokušavali otjerati od svojeg prijatelja.

- Niz konopa i plovaka stršao je iz kita - rekao je inspektor Marine Rescue NSW Glenn Sullivan.

Specijalizirani tim Nacionalnih parkova za zaštitu divljih životinja pridružio se operaciji nešto poslije podneva.

Sullivan je najprije rekao da dobri vremenski uvjeti znače da je vjerojatno kako će akcija spašavanja biti uspješna. No, s promjenom južnog vjetra, slabljenjem svjetla i drugim kitovima u tom području, spasiocima je trebalo više od osam sati da oslobode sisavca, koji je otpetljan malo poslije 16.30.

- Spasilačke ekipe su izvan sebe. Drago nam je da je on slobodan i pliva sa svojim prijateljima - dodao je Sullivan.

Migracija kitova počinje u svibnju, kada sisavci krenu na sjever prije nego što započnu svoje putovanje prema jugu u kolovozu.

Vrhunac sezone događa se od lipnja do srpnja.
