Prošle je subote održana tradicionalna trinaesta po redu akcija čišćenja obalnog pojasa korčulanskih škoja koja je ove godine podinuta na veću razinu zahvaljujući ekološkom projektu Od izvora do mora.

U jakoj konkurenciji

Na taj se način i Grad Korčula pridružuje projektu u cilju promicanja zaštite vodnoga bogatstva Hrvatske i poticanja na primjereno odlaganje ambalažnog otpada. Grad Korčula sudjeluje u kategoriji malih gradova do 15 tisuća stanovnika, a najuspiješniji grad osvaja donaciju za kupnju sadnica drveća za urbano pošumljavanje. Za osvajanje nagrade bodovat će se broj okupljenih volontera te količina prikupljenoga otpada, a Korčulanima su konkurencija Crikvenica, Ilok, Ploče, Otočac, Zabok, još jedan otočni grad Mali Lošinj i drugi.

Tradicionalno čišćenje Badije, Planjaka, Kamenjaka i Sutvare u organizaciji Gradskih kotareva Stari grad i Sv. Antun do sad je svih 12 godina prošlo bez kiše, a kako se ovaj trinaesti put u sklopu projekta organiziralo koji tjedan ranije, loše vrijeme i pokoja kap ipak je utjecala na broj volontera.

Ekološku akciju u Korčuli nije omelo ni loše vrijeme

No, akcija je bila i više nego uspješna, kako su zaključili organizatori i sponzori. Prošle subote na Punti Jurana spremno je čekalo oko 60-ak volontera, većinom učenika Osnovne škole Petar Kanavelić Korčula, ali i članova KPK, RK Korčula, TKD Forteca kao i drugih Korčulana. Kao i svake godine, akcija čišćenja otočića nadomak Korčule ne bi se mogla realizirati bez pomoći udruge Korčulanskih barkarijola koji su neumorno brodicama prevozili volontere u jednom smjeru, a krcate vreće ambalažnog otpada u drugom.

Za svijet bez otpada

Zbog lošeg vremena ronioci Ekološko-ronilačkog kluba Korčula morali su odustati od čišćenja podmorja, ali zato su vrijedne ruke učenika i sportaša neumorno kupile otpad na obalama škoja kojeg se prilično nakupilo tijekom zime. Kako doznajemo od predjednika Gradskog kotara Stari grad Alana Farca, ove je godine prikupljeno oko 100 velikih vreća za komulani otpad i toliko prosječno skupe svake godine. Količina otpada kojeg more nanese na našu obalu s godinama nije ni manja, ni veća, kaže Farac koji je u ovu akciju uključen od samih početaka, a jedne su godine prikupili rekordnih 200 vreća. Nakon čišćenja svi su se sudionici družili na zajedničkoj, tradicionalnoj marendi.

Ekološku akciju u Korčuli nije omelo ni loše vrijeme

Farac se radio prisjetio prvih godina ove ekološke akcije koja je postala nezaobilazan događaj predsezone za Korčulane.

“Inicijator ove akcije bio je pokojni Ante Prizmić, prije 13 godina on je bio predsjednik kotara Sv. Antun, a ja kao i sad Starog grada. Iako sam ekološki osviješten i želim smanjiti vlastiti ekološki otisak, ovu akciju svake godine organiziramo i u spomen na njega. Šjor Ante je bio čovjek koji je nesebično davao sebe zajednici, društvu, Korčuli i u tome je uživao. Njegov je duh još uvijek prisutan”, priča nam Farac zahvaljujući se usput i Nenadu Pecotiću, sadašnjem predsjeniku kotara Sv. Antun, svim barkarijolima te Ivanu Šegedinu Amerikancu i Peru Lozici koji su vozili i ustupili glisere.

Ideja da ovu tradicionalnu akciju uključi u projekt Od izvora do mora koji je dio dio dugoročnog programa Svijet bez otpada pripisat ćemo Ivici Martinoviću, direktoru korčulanske razvojne agencije KORA-e, a za logistiku, materijale za zbrinjavanje kao i odvoz otpada zaslužno je komunalno društvo KTD Hober na čelu s Jakšom Rađom.

Prošle je subote održana tradicionalna trinaesta po redu akcija čišćenja obalnog pojasa korčulanskih škoja koja je ove godine podinuta na veću razinu zahvaljujući ekološkom projektu Od izvora do mora.

U jakoj konkurenciji

Na taj se način i Grad Korčula pridružuje projektu u cilju promicanja zaštite vodnoga bogatstva Hrvatske i poticanja na primjereno odlaganje ambalažnog otpada. Grad Korčula sudjeluje u kategoriji malih gradova do 15 tisuća stanovnika, a najuspiješniji grad osvaja donaciju za kupnju sadnica drveća za urbano pošumljavanje. Za osvajanje nagrade bodovat će se broj okupljenih volontera te količina prikupljenoga otpada, a Korčulanima su konkurencija Crikvenica, Ilok, Ploče, Otočac, Zabok, još jedan otočni grad Mali Lošinj i drugi.

Tradicionalno čišćenje Badije, Planjaka, Kamenjaka i Sutvare u organizaciji Gradskih kotareva Stari grad i Sv. Antun do sad je svih 12 godina prošlo bez kiše, a kako se ovaj trinaesti put u sklopu projekta organiziralo koji tjedan ranije, loše vrijeme i pokoja kap ipak je utjecala na broj volontera.

No, akcija je bila i više nego uspješna, kako su zaključili organizatori i sponzori. Prošle subote na Punti Jurana spremno je čekalo oko 60-ak volontera, većinom učenika Osnovne škole Petar Kanavelić Korčula, ali i članova KPK, RK Korčula, TKD Forteca kao i drugih Korčulana. Kao i svake godine, akcija čišćenja otočića nadomak Korčule ne bi se mogla realizirati bez pomoći udruge Korčulanskih barkarijola koji su neumorno brodicama prevozili volontere u jednom smjeru, a krcate vreće ambalažnog otpada u drugom.

Za svijet bez otpada

Zbog lošeg vremena ronioci Ekološko-ronilačkog kluba Korčula morali su odustati od čišćenja podmorja, ali zato su vrijedne ruke učenika i sportaša neumorno kupile otpad na obalama škoja kojeg se prilično nakupilo tijekom zime. Kako doznajemo od predjednika Gradskog kotara Stari grad Alana Farca, ove je godine prikupljeno oko 100 velikih vreća za komulani otpad i toliko prosječno skupe svake godine. Količina otpada kojeg more nanese na našu obalu s godinama nije ni manja, ni veća, kaže Farac koji je u ovu akciju uključen od samih početaka, a jedne su godine prikupili rekordnih 200 vreća. Nakon čišćenja svi su se sudionici družili na zajedničkoj, tradicionalnoj marendi.

Farac se radio prisjetio prvih godina ove ekološke akcije koja je postala nezaobilazan događaj predsezone za Korčulane.

“Inicijator ove akcije bio je pokojni Ante Prizmić, prije 13 godina on je bio predsjednik kotara Sv. Antun, a ja kao i sad Starog grada. Iako sam ekološki osviješten i želim smanjiti vlastiti ekološki otisak, ovu akciju svake godine organiziramo i u spomen na njega. Šjor Ante je bio čovjek koji je nesebično davao sebe zajednici, društvu, Korčuli i u tome je uživao. Njegov je duh još uvijek prisutan”, priča nam Farac zahvaljujući se usput i Nenadu Pecotiću, sadašnjem predsjeniku kotara Sv. Antun, svim barkarijolima te Ivanu Šegedinu Amerikancu i Peru Lozici koji su vozili i ustupili glisere.

Ideja da ovu tradicionalnu akciju uključi u projekt Od izvora do mora koji je dio dio dugoročnog programa Svijet bez otpada pripisat ćemo Ivici Martinoviću, direktoru korčulanske razvojne agencije KORA-e, a za logistiku, materijale za zbrinjavanje kao i odvoz otpada zaslužno je komunalno društvo KTD Hober na čelu s Jakšom Rađom.
