Ispred luke Pirej je portugalski kontejneraš Maersk Launceston udario u minolovca grčke mornarice HS Kallisto i doslovce ga prepolovio. Nekim čudom u sudaru nije bilo ni mrtvih ni teže ozlijeđenih, a krmeni dio minolovca je brzo potonuo. Kasnije je prednji dio ratnog broda otegljen do Pireja (na slici). Razlozi kolizije nisu poznati, ali je uhićen zapovjednik kontejnerskog broda.
HS Kallisto ima 27 članova posade, dug je 60 i širok 9,8 m. Izgrađen je u Velikoj Britaniji 1987. godine i služio je u Kraljevskoj mornarici kao HMS Berkeley. Grci su ga od Engleza kupili 2001. godine. Maersk Launceston je u Portugalu registrirani kontejneraš kapaciteta 4045 TEU. Dug je 266 i širok 38 metara. (Ž. S.)

Ispred luke Pirej je portugalski kontejneraš Maersk Launceston udario u minolovca grčke mornarice HS Kallisto i doslovce ga prepolovio. Nekim čudom u sudaru nije bilo ni mrtvih ni teže ozlijeđenih, a krmeni dio minolovca je brzo potonuo. Kasnije je prednji dio ratnog broda otegljen do Pireja (na slici). Razlozi kolizije nisu poznati, ali je uhićen zapovjednik kontejnerskog broda.
HS Kallisto ima 27 članova posade, dug je 60 i širok 9,8 m. Izgrađen je u Velikoj Britaniji 1987. godine i služio je u Kraljevskoj mornarici kao HMS Berkeley. Grci su ga od Engleza kupili 2001. godine. Maersk Launceston je u Portugalu registrirani kontejneraš kapaciteta 4045 TEU. Dug je 266 i širok 38 metara. (Ž. S.)

PIREJPortugalski kontejneraš Maersk Launceston prepolovio grčkog minolovca Kallista, ali srećom nije bilo mrtvih

Ispred luke Pirej je portugalski kontejneraš Maersk Launceston udario u minolovca grčke mornarice HS Kallisto i doslovce ga prepolovio. Nekim čudom u sudaru nije bilo ni mrtvih ni teže ozlijeđenih, a krmeni dio minolovca je brzo potonuo. Kasnije je prednji dio ratnog broda otegljen do Pireja (na slici). Razlozi kolizije nisu poznati, ali je uhićen zapovjednik kontejnerskog broda.
HS Kallisto ima 27 članova posade, dug je 60 i širok 9,8 m. Izgrađen je u Velikoj Britaniji 1987. godine i služio je u Kraljevskoj mornarici kao HMS Berkeley. Grci su ga od Engleza kupili 2001. godine. Maersk Launceston je u Portugalu registrirani kontejneraš kapaciteta 4045 TEU. Dug je 266 i širok 38 metara. (Ž. S.)
