Nakon 45 godina u vlasništvu danskog brodara AP Moller-Maerska, Svitzer, jedan od vodećih globalnih pružatelja pomorskih usluga tegljenja, postat će samostalna kompanija pod imenom Svitzer Group, zajedno sa svojim podružnicama, prenosi pomorac.hr. Čelnici Svitzera kažu da je tvrtka spremna za novo poglavlje u svom poslovanju, dok iz Maerska kažu da je odvajanje korak u njihovoj strategiji Global Integrator, koja se fokusira na razvoj kompanije u integriranog pružatelja logističkih usluga.

"Nakon procjene različitih opcija za Svitzer, Maersk je zaključio da je najbolja opcija za kompaniju i dugoročno stvaranje vrijednosti za dioničare Maerska uvrštavanje Svitzera kao samostalnog subjekta," naveo je Maersk u priopćenju. Pričalo se i da Maersk razmatra moguću prodaju Svitzera.

Prema novom planu, koji će službeno biti predstavljen krajem ožujka, čelnici Maerska predlažu raspodjelu dionica Svitzera sadašnjim dioničarima AP Moller-Maersk, u omjeru raspodjele jedne dionice Svitzer Grupe za svakih 500 dionica Maerska. A.P. Moller Holding, obiteljska investicijska tvrtka, imat će oko 41,5 % vlasništva nad novom samostalnom tvrtkom, prenosi The Maritime Executive.

Svitzer je osnovan još davne 1833. godine kao spašavateljsko društvo, a 1870. počeli su pružati usluge tegljenja. Maersk je 1979. postao većinski dioničar, a kasnije je potpuno preuzeo vlasništvo nad tvrtkom.

Danas Svitzer ima flotu od 430 brodova te je prisutan u više od 30 zemalja i preko 140 luka, kao i preko 25 naftnih i plinskih terminala diljem svijeta. Kompanija je izvijestila da trenutno broji oko 4.400 zaposlenika, kao i da svake godine obavi više od 135.000 tegljenja u lukama i 50.000 tegljenja LNG tankera.

Svitzer je 2023. ostvario oko 839 milijuna dolara prihoda, što je preko 8 % više u odnosu na prethodnu godinu. U 2023. godini prijavljena je EBITDA dobit od 246 milijuna dolara, što je preko 7 % više u odnosu na 2022. godinu.

Kompanija će i dalje imati sjedište u Kopenhagenu, a na čelu tvrtke zadržat će se CEO Kasper Friis Nilaus te CFO Knud Winkler. Finalno odobrenje razdvajanja kompanija očekuje se u travnju, navodi Splash247.

Maersk je u međuvremenu u sklopu svoje logističke strategije dovršio velike akvizicije za operacije na kopnu, a također je prodavao sporedna poslovanja. Prošle godine Maersk je izišao iz energetskog sektora prodajom Maersk Supply Service svojoj matičnoj tvrtki A.P. Moller Holding. U periodu od 2017. do 2019. Maersk Tankers odvojio se od matične kompanije Tankers i postao samostalna tvrtka, potom je Maersk Oil prodan TotalEnergiesu, a konačno je prodan i Maersk Drilling, koji se lani spojio s Noble Corporation.

APM Terminals, Maersk Container Industry (MCI), Maersk Training i Maersk Line nastavljaju poslovati pod postojećim brendom.

Vijest o Svitzeru objavljena je nakon što je Maersk jučer objavio svoje rezultate za četvrti kvartal 2023., u kojem je ostvario gubitak od 456 milijuna dolara. Golem je to pad u odnosu na nevjerojatnu dobit od gotovo 5 milijardi dolara u istom razdoblju 2022. godine.

Nakon 45 godina u vlasništvu danskog brodara AP Moller-Maerska, Svitzer, jedan od vodećih globalnih pružatelja pomorskih usluga tegljenja, postat će samostalna kompanija pod imenom Svitzer Group, zajedno sa svojim podružnicama, prenosi pomorac.hr. Čelnici Svitzera kažu da je tvrtka spremna za novo poglavlje u svom poslovanju, dok iz Maerska kažu da je odvajanje korak u njihovoj strategiji Global Integrator, koja se fokusira na razvoj kompanije u integriranog pružatelja logističkih usluga.

"Nakon procjene različitih opcija za Svitzer, Maersk je zaključio da je najbolja opcija za kompaniju i dugoročno stvaranje vrijednosti za dioničare Maerska uvrštavanje Svitzera kao samostalnog subjekta," naveo je Maersk u priopćenju. Pričalo se i da Maersk razmatra moguću prodaju Svitzera.

Prema novom planu, koji će službeno biti predstavljen krajem ožujka, čelnici Maerska predlažu raspodjelu dionica Svitzera sadašnjim dioničarima AP Moller-Maersk, u omjeru raspodjele jedne dionice Svitzer Grupe za svakih 500 dionica Maerska. A.P. Moller Holding, obiteljska investicijska tvrtka, imat će oko 41,5 % vlasništva nad novom samostalnom tvrtkom, prenosi The Maritime Executive.

Svitzer je osnovan još davne 1833. godine kao spašavateljsko društvo, a 1870. počeli su pružati usluge tegljenja. Maersk je 1979. postao većinski dioničar, a kasnije je potpuno preuzeo vlasništvo nad tvrtkom.

Danas Svitzer ima flotu od 430 brodova te je prisutan u više od 30 zemalja i preko 140 luka, kao i preko 25 naftnih i plinskih terminala diljem svijeta. Kompanija je izvijestila da trenutno broji oko 4.400 zaposlenika, kao i da svake godine obavi više od 135.000 tegljenja u lukama i 50.000 tegljenja LNG tankera.

Svitzer je 2023. ostvario oko 839 milijuna dolara prihoda, što je preko 8 % više u odnosu na prethodnu godinu. U 2023. godini prijavljena je EBITDA dobit od 246 milijuna dolara, što je preko 7 % više u odnosu na 2022. godinu.

Kompanija će i dalje imati sjedište u Kopenhagenu, a na čelu tvrtke zadržat će se CEO Kasper Friis Nilaus te CFO Knud Winkler. Finalno odobrenje razdvajanja kompanija očekuje se u travnju, navodi Splash247.

Maersk je u međuvremenu u sklopu svoje logističke strategije dovršio velike akvizicije za operacije na kopnu, a također je prodavao sporedna poslovanja. Prošle godine Maersk je izišao iz energetskog sektora prodajom Maersk Supply Service svojoj matičnoj tvrtki A.P. Moller Holding. U periodu od 2017. do 2019. Maersk Tankers odvojio se od matične kompanije Tankers i postao samostalna tvrtka, potom je Maersk Oil prodan TotalEnergiesu, a konačno je prodan i Maersk Drilling, koji se lani spojio s Noble Corporation.

APM Terminals, Maersk Container Industry (MCI), Maersk Training i Maersk Line nastavljaju poslovati pod postojećim brendom.

Vijest o Svitzeru objavljena je nakon što je Maersk jučer objavio svoje rezultate za četvrti kvartal 2023., u kojem je ostvario gubitak od 456 milijuna dolara. Golem je to pad u odnosu na nevjerojatnu dobit od gotovo 5 milijardi dolara u istom razdoblju 2022. godine.

Nakon 45 godina u vlasništvu danskog brodara AP Moller-Maerska, Svitzer, jedan od vodećih globalnih pružatelja pomorskih usluga tegljenja, postat će samostalna kompanija pod imenom Svitzer Group, zajedno sa svojim podružnicama, prenosi pomorac.hr. Čelnici Svitzera kažu da je tvrtka spremna za novo poglavlje u svom poslovanju, dok iz Maerska kažu da je odvajanje korak u njihovoj strategiji Global Integrator, koja se fokusira na razvoj kompanije u integriranog pružatelja logističkih usluga.

"Nakon procjene različitih opcija za Svitzer, Maersk je zaključio da je najbolja opcija za kompaniju i dugoročno stvaranje vrijednosti za dioničare Maerska uvrštavanje Svitzera kao samostalnog subjekta," naveo je Maersk u priopćenju. Pričalo se i da Maersk razmatra moguću prodaju Svitzera.

Prema novom planu, koji će službeno biti predstavljen krajem ožujka, čelnici Maerska predlažu raspodjelu dionica Svitzera sadašnjim dioničarima AP Moller-Maersk, u omjeru raspodjele jedne dionice Svitzer Grupe za svakih 500 dionica Maerska. A.P. Moller Holding, obiteljska investicijska tvrtka, imat će oko 41,5 % vlasništva nad novom samostalnom tvrtkom, prenosi The Maritime Executive.
