Hrvatska pošta pustila je danas novu prigodnu poštansku marku na temu borbe protiv klimatskih promjena s prikazom ribe napravljene od plastike koja simbolizira onečišćenje mora.

Autorica poštanske marke je studentica dizajna Enea Knežević čiji je mentor u projektu bio izvanredni prof. Tomislav Vlainić na Arhitektonskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Izdanje je realizirano u sklopu kolegija Projektiranje – vizualne komunikacije 3 na drugoj godini preddiplomskog studija dizajna na Studiju dizajna. Nominalna vrijednost marke iznosi 1,14 eura, a otisnuta je u 30.000 primjeraka i u arčiću od 10 maraka. Hrvatska pošta izdala je i FDC – prigodnu omotnicu prvog dana.

U svijetu se godišnje proizvede više od 90 milijardi kilograma plastike. Velike količine plastike, nažalost, završe u morima: čak oko 80% odnosno 8 milijuna tona godišnje, a najveći onečišćivači plastikom su Kina, Indonezija i Filipini. Prema znanstvenim pretpostavkama, do 2025. u morima i oceanima bit će 250 milijuna tona plastike, a do 2050. količina plastike bit će znatno veća od ukupne količine ribljega fonda.

Velika štetnost plastičnog otpada proizlazi iz činjenice da razlaganje plastičnih materijala traje vrlo dugo. Primjerice, za razgradnju plastičnog pribora za jelo treba 1000 godina, a plastičnih vrećica najmanje 20 godina. Prema podatcima UNEP-a (UN-ova programa za okoliš) u morima 70% plastike potone na dno i plastika koja tako dospijeva u more šteti ekosustavu, morskim organizmima, pticama i ljudima. Kada je riječ o vodenim ekosustavima, tada su najugroženije ribe, školjkaši i ptice. Male morske životinje, beskralješnjaci, ribe i ptice mogu progutati vrlo male čestice plastike (tzv. mikroplastiku) zato što životinje plastiku najčešće zamijene za hranu. Ako čestice plastike dospiju u morski hranidbeni lanac, preko konzumnih vrsta riba, glavonožaca i školjkaša dospijevaju i do čovjeka.

Iako su plastični materijali našli vrlo široku primjenu u našim životima, količina plastike koja se svakodnevno baca opterećuje naš okoliš te šteti i prijeti našem opstanku na ovom planetu. Hrvatska je tijekom protekle godine ukinula uporabu plastičnih vrećica – to je tek prvi koraku smanjivanju plastičnog otpada. Recikliranje i pravilno gospodarenje plastičnim otpadom nije luksuz, nego potreba modernog doba.

Hrvatska pošta pustila je danas novu prigodnu poštansku marku na temu borbe protiv klimatskih promjena s prikazom ribe napravljene od plastike koja simbolizira onečišćenje mora.

Autorica poštanske marke je studentica dizajna Enea Knežević čiji je mentor u projektu bio izvanredni prof. Tomislav Vlainić na Arhitektonskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Izdanje je realizirano u sklopu kolegija Projektiranje – vizualne komunikacije 3 na drugoj godini preddiplomskog studija dizajna na Studiju dizajna. Nominalna vrijednost marke iznosi 1,14 eura, a otisnuta je u 30.000 primjeraka i u arčiću od 10 maraka. Hrvatska pošta izdala je i FDC – prigodnu omotnicu prvog dana.

U svijetu se godišnje proizvede više od 90 milijardi kilograma plastike. Velike količine plastike, nažalost, završe u morima: čak oko 80% odnosno 8 milijuna tona godišnje, a najveći onečišćivači plastikom su Kina, Indonezija i Filipini. Prema znanstvenim pretpostavkama, do 2025. u morima i oceanima bit će 250 milijuna tona plastike, a do 2050. količina plastike bit će znatno veća od ukupne količine ribljega fonda.

Velika štetnost plastičnog otpada proizlazi iz činjenice da razlaganje plastičnih materijala traje vrlo dugo. Primjerice, za razgradnju plastičnog pribora za jelo treba 1000 godina, a plastičnih vrećica najmanje 20 godina. Prema podatcima UNEP-a (UN-ova programa za okoliš) u morima 70% plastike potone na dno i plastika koja tako dospijeva u more šteti ekosustavu, morskim organizmima, pticama i ljudima. Kada je riječ o vodenim ekosustavima, tada su najugroženije ribe, školjkaši i ptice. Male morske životinje, beskralješnjaci, ribe i ptice mogu progutati vrlo male čestice plastike (tzv. mikroplastiku) zato što životinje plastiku najčešće zamijene za hranu. Ako čestice plastike dospiju u morski hranidbeni lanac, preko konzumnih vrsta riba, glavonožaca i školjkaša dospijevaju i do čovjeka.

Iako su plastični materijali našli vrlo široku primjenu u našim životima, količina plastike koja se svakodnevno baca opterećuje naš okoliš te šteti i prijeti našem opstanku na ovom planetu. Hrvatska je tijekom protekle godine ukinula uporabu plastičnih vrećica – to je tek prvi koraku smanjivanju plastičnog otpada. Recikliranje i pravilno gospodarenje plastičnim otpadom nije luksuz, nego potreba modernog doba.
