U nemirnim vodama Sjevernog mora,15 milja od obale Aberdeenshirea, u Škotskoj, pet plutajućih vjetroturbina proteže se na površini mora od 175 metara. Prva plutajuća vjetroelektrana na svijetu, postrojenje od 30 megavata koje vodi norveška tvrtka Equinor, radi tek od 2017. godine, ali je već oborila britanski rekord u proizvodnji obnovljive energije. Turbine su više od londonskog Big Bena i mogu osigurati struje dovoljno za 20 tisuća domaćinstava - piše Luka Fišić za Jutarnji list.

Blizu 80 posto potencijalne energije vjetra pristiže s lokacija daleko od morske pučine, a prednost ovakvih vjetroelektrana jest i što ne nagrđuju krajolik uz obalu.

Plutajuće vjetroelektrane još su u svojoj ranoj fazi razvoja. Globalno gledajući, samo oko 80 megavata od ukupno oko 32 gigavata (0,25%) energije iz vjetroelektrana, proizvode one koje plutaju daleko od obale. No, dobar dio stručnjaka slaže se kako bi ova, relativno nova, tehnologija mogla postati važan dio industrije obnovljivih izvora energije. Za to će morati prevladati troškove dizajna turbina, te prigovore ribarske industrije.

SAD tradicionalno zaostaje za Europom kada su u pitanju vjetroelektrane na moru, no i to bi se moglo uskoro promijeniti. Joe Biden obećao je izgraditi vjetroturbine koje će proizvesti više od 30 GW energije, i to do 2030. Ministarstvo energetike kaže da je uložilo više od 100 milijuna dolara u istraživanje i razvoj plutajuće tehnologije vjetra na moru u pokušaju da se etablira kao svjetski lider u ovom sektoru.

Europski parlament sustavno zagovara uporabu obnovljivih izvora energije i ističe važnost postavljanja obveznih ciljeva za 2020., a odnedavno i za 2030.

U veljači 2014. donio je rezolucijuu kojoj se prijedlozi Komisije za okvir klimatske i energetske politike do 2030. kritiziraju kao ograničeni i neambiciozni. Zatražio je obvezujući cilj u pogledu udjela energije iz obnovljivih izvora od 30 % u potrošnji energije na razini EU-a, koji bi se provodio s pomoću nacionalnih obvezujućih ciljeva, te produženje ciljeva povezanih s gorivima namijenjenima za uporabu u prometu nakon 2020.

U siječnju 2020. Parlament je donio Rezoluciju o europskom zelenom planu, u kojoj je iznio niz preporuka, uključujući pružanje čiste, povoljne i sigurne energije. U tom je duhu pozvao na reviziju Direktive o obnovljivim izvorima energije i na postavljanje obvezujućih nacionalnih ciljeva za svaku državu članicu te je preporučio da se „načelo prvenstva energije” provede u svim sektorima i politikama - piše Jutarnji list.

U nemirnim vodama Sjevernog mora,15 milja od obale Aberdeenshirea, u Škotskoj, pet plutajućih vjetroturbina proteže se na površini mora od 175 metara. Prva plutajuća vjetroelektrana na svijetu, postrojenje od 30 megavata koje vodi norveška tvrtka Equinor, radi tek od 2017. godine, ali je već oborila britanski rekord u proizvodnji obnovljive energije. Turbine su više od londonskog Big Bena i mogu osigurati struje dovoljno za 20 tisuća domaćinstava - piše Luka Fišić za Jutarnji list.

Blizu 80 posto potencijalne energije vjetra pristiže s lokacija daleko od morske pučine, a prednost ovakvih vjetroelektrana jest i što ne nagrđuju krajolik uz obalu.

Plutajuće vjetroelektrane još su u svojoj ranoj fazi razvoja. Globalno gledajući, samo oko 80 megavata od ukupno oko 32 gigavata (0,25%) energije iz vjetroelektrana, proizvode one koje plutaju daleko od obale. No, dobar dio stručnjaka slaže se kako bi ova, relativno nova, tehnologija mogla postati važan dio industrije obnovljivih izvora energije. Za to će morati prevladati troškove dizajna turbina, te prigovore ribarske industrije.

SAD tradicionalno zaostaje za Europom kada su u pitanju vjetroelektrane na moru, no i to bi se moglo uskoro promijeniti. Joe Biden obećao je izgraditi vjetroturbine koje će proizvesti više od 30 GW energije, i to do 2030. Ministarstvo energetike kaže da je uložilo više od 100 milijuna dolara u istraživanje i razvoj plutajuće tehnologije vjetra na moru u pokušaju da se etablira kao svjetski lider u ovom sektoru.

Europski parlament sustavno zagovara uporabu obnovljivih izvora energije i ističe važnost postavljanja obveznih ciljeva za 2020., a odnedavno i za 2030.

U veljači 2014. donio je rezolucijuu kojoj se prijedlozi Komisije za okvir klimatske i energetske politike do 2030. kritiziraju kao ograničeni i neambiciozni. Zatražio je obvezujući cilj u pogledu udjela energije iz obnovljivih izvora od 30 % u potrošnji energije na razini EU-a, koji bi se provodio s pomoću nacionalnih obvezujućih ciljeva, te produženje ciljeva povezanih s gorivima namijenjenima za uporabu u prometu nakon 2020.

U siječnju 2020. Parlament je donio Rezoluciju o europskom zelenom planu, u kojoj je iznio niz preporuka, uključujući pružanje čiste, povoljne i sigurne energije. U tom je duhu pozvao na reviziju Direktive o obnovljivim izvorima energije i na postavljanje obvezujućih nacionalnih ciljeva za svaku državu članicu te je preporučio da se „načelo prvenstva energije” provede u svim sektorima i politikama - piše Jutarnji list.

U nemirnim vodama Sjevernog mora,15 milja od obale Aberdeenshirea, u Škotskoj, pet plutajućih vjetroturbina proteže se na površini mora od 175 metara. Prva plutajuća vjetroelektrana na svijetu, postrojenje od 30 megavata koje vodi norveška tvrtka Equinor, radi tek od 2017. godine, ali je već oborila britanski rekord u proizvodnji obnovljive energije. Turbine su više od londonskog Big Bena i mogu osigurati struje dovoljno za 20 tisuća domaćinstava - piše Luka Fišić za Jutarnji list.

Blizu 80 posto potencijalne energije vjetra pristiže s lokacija daleko od morske pučine, a prednost ovakvih vjetroelektrana jest i što ne nagrđuju krajolik uz obalu.

Plutajuće vjetroelektrane još su u svojoj ranoj fazi razvoja. Globalno gledajući, samo oko 80 megavata od ukupno oko 32 gigavata (0,25%) energije iz vjetroelektrana, proizvode one koje plutaju daleko od obale. No, dobar dio stručnjaka slaže se kako bi ova, relativno nova, tehnologija mogla postati važan dio industrije obnovljivih izvora energije. Za to će morati prevladati troškove dizajna turbina, te prigovore ribarske industrije.

SAD tradicionalno zaostaje za Europom kada su u pitanju vjetroelektrane na moru, no i to bi se moglo uskoro promijeniti. Joe Biden obećao je izgraditi vjetroturbine koje će proizvesti više od 30 GW energije, i to do 2030. Ministarstvo energetike kaže da je uložilo više od 100 milijuna dolara u istraživanje i razvoj plutajuće tehnologije vjetra na moru u pokušaju da se etablira kao svjetski lider u ovom sektoru.

Europski parlament sustavno zagovara uporabu obnovljivih izvora energije i ističe važnost postavljanja obveznih ciljeva za 2020., a odnedavno i za 2030.

U veljači 2014. donio je rezolucijuu kojoj se prijedlozi Komisije za okvir klimatske i energetske politike do 2030. kritiziraju kao ograničeni i neambiciozni. Zatražio je obvezujući cilj u pogledu udjela energije iz obnovljivih izvora od 30 % u potrošnji energije na razini EU-a, koji bi se provodio s pomoću nacionalnih obvezujućih ciljeva, te produženje ciljeva povezanih s gorivima namijenjenima za uporabu u prometu nakon 2020.

U siječnju 2020. Parlament je donio Rezoluciju o europskom zelenom planu, u kojoj je iznio niz preporuka, uključujući pružanje čiste, povoljne i sigurne energije. U tom je duhu pozvao na reviziju Direktive o obnovljivim izvorima energije i na postavljanje obvezujućih nacionalnih ciljeva za svaku državu članicu te je preporučio da se „načelo prvenstva energije” provede u svim sektorima i politikama - piše Jutarnji list.
