Turski ministar zaštite okoliša i urbanog razvoja Murat Kurum najavio je odobravanje plana za izgradnju Istanbulskog kanala, nove plovne arterije koja bi povezala Crno i Mramorno more.

"Odobrili smo plan za izgradnju Istanbulskog kanala nakon što smo ispitali sve zahtjeve i prigovore. U tom ćemo kontekstu brzo poduzeti korake kako bismo osigurali da kanal služi na korist našem gradu", napisao je Kurum na svojoj stranici na Twitteru.

Turska je planirala započeti izgradnju novog kanala dužine 51 kilometra još 2018. godine. Tada je planirano da se posao dovrši 2023. godine, do 100. obljetnice osnutka Republike Turske. Približni trošak projekta iznosi 10 milijardi dolara.

Turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan više puta je izjavio da će se uskoro održati natječaj za gradnju Istanbulskog kanala, koji će ići paralelno s Bosporom.

Projekt izgradnje novog kanala 100 kilometara zapadno od Istanbula prvi je put najavio Erdogan uoči izbora 2011. godine.

Turska oporba i gradonačelnik Istanbula Ekrem Imamoglu protive se projektu i traže da se o njemu raspiše referendum.

Pretpostavlja se da će novim kanalom dnevno moglo proći oko 160 brodova, uključujući tankere nosivosti do 300 tisuća tona.

Bosporskim tjesnacem godišnje prođe 53 tisuće brodova.

Turski ministar zaštite okoliša i urbanog razvoja Murat Kurum najavio je odobravanje plana za izgradnju Istanbulskog kanala, nove plovne arterije koja bi povezala Crno i Mramorno more.

"Odobrili smo plan za izgradnju Istanbulskog kanala nakon što smo ispitali sve zahtjeve i prigovore. U tom ćemo kontekstu brzo poduzeti korake kako bismo osigurali da kanal služi na korist našem gradu", napisao je Kurum na svojoj stranici na Twitteru.

Turska je planirala započeti izgradnju novog kanala dužine 51 kilometra još 2018. godine. Tada je planirano da se posao dovrši 2023. godine, do 100. obljetnice osnutka Republike Turske. Približni trošak projekta iznosi 10 milijardi dolara.

Turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan više puta je izjavio da će se uskoro održati natječaj za gradnju Istanbulskog kanala, koji će ići paralelno s Bosporom.

Projekt izgradnje novog kanala 100 kilometara zapadno od Istanbula prvi je put najavio Erdogan uoči izbora 2011. godine.

Turska oporba i gradonačelnik Istanbula Ekrem Imamoglu protive se projektu i traže da se o njemu raspiše referendum.

Pretpostavlja se da će novim kanalom dnevno moglo proći oko 160 brodova, uključujući tankere nosivosti do 300 tisuća tona.

Bosporskim tjesnacem godišnje prođe 53 tisuće brodova.

Istanbulski kanalTurska želi izgraditi novi plovni put, približni trošak projekta iznosi 10 milijardi dolara

Turski ministar zaštite okoliša i urbanog razvoja Murat Kurum najavio je odobravanje plana za izgradnju Istanbulskog kanala, nove plovne arterije koja bi povezala Crno i Mramorno more.

"Odobrili smo plan za izgradnju Istanbulskog kanala nakon što smo ispitali sve zahtjeve i prigovore. U tom ćemo kontekstu brzo poduzeti korake kako bismo osigurali da kanal služi na korist našem gradu", napisao je Kurum na svojoj stranici na Twitteru.

Turska je planirala započeti izgradnju novog kanala dužine 51 kilometra još 2018. godine. Tada je planirano da se posao dovrši 2023. godine, do 100. obljetnice osnutka Republike Turske. Približni trošak projekta iznosi 10 milijardi dolara.

Turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan više puta je izjavio da će se uskoro održati natječaj za gradnju Istanbulskog kanala, koji će ići paralelno s Bosporom.

Projekt izgradnje novog kanala 100 kilometara zapadno od Istanbula prvi je put najavio Erdogan uoči izbora 2011. godine.

Turska oporba i gradonačelnik Istanbula Ekrem Imamoglu protive se projektu i traže da se o njemu raspiše referendum.

Pretpostavlja se da će novim kanalom dnevno moglo proći oko 160 brodova, uključujući tankere nosivosti do 300 tisuća tona.

Bosporskim tjesnacem godišnje prođe 53 tisuće brodova.
