Za razliku od Hrvata Vjekoslava Prebega, koji se borio na ukrajinskoj strani kada su ga zarobili Rusi pa je nedavno oslobođen u razmjeni - nakon čega nije detaljnije pričao o svom uzničkom iskustvu - jedan od britanskih zarobljenika koji je razmijenjen istom prilikom otkrio je više za The Sun.

Ispričao je i bizarne detalje poput onog da su ga Rusi tjerali da sluša ABBA-u i Cher na "repeat". Shaun Pinner, 48-godišnji vojni veteran, govorio je o tome kako je bio prisiljen slušati glazbu 24 sata dnevno, osim što je bio izboden i podvrgnut elektrošokovima.

Dok je bio u zatočeništvu, kaže, stalno su mu puštali soundtrack filma "Mamma Mia", a za jelo su mu davali samo stari kruh i prljavu vodu. Nakon što je u lipnju osuđen na smrt, zajedno s još jednim britanskim borcem premješten je u drugi zatvor, gdje se glazbena tortura nastavila. "Uvjeti su bili bolji, ali su i dalje puštali glazbu - a ovaj put je to bio Believe od Cher", rekao je za The Sun. “Imali smo puno crnih dana i mnogo sam plakao. Morali smo se uhvatiti za neki tračak nade..."

Pinner je dio skupine stranih zatvorenika oslobođenih nakon što je Saudijska Arabija posredovala u tajnom dogovoru između Rusije i Ukrajine. Sad, doma u Engleskoj, ispričao je novinarima: "Mislio sam da ću umrijeti. Bio je to pakao na zemlji. Proteklih šest mjeseci bili su najgori dani u mom životu. Nikad više ne želim slušati neku pjesmu grupe ABBA ili vidjeti štrucu kruha. Tako sam sretan što sam kod kuće."

Njegov suborac Aiden Aslin ispričao je kako su ga tukli, izboli nožem i tjerali da sluša sovjetske borbene pjesme u maloj ćeliji, 24 sata dnevno. "Nikad nisam mislio da ću izaći živ", rekao je. Ovaj 28-godišnjak iz Newarka pridružio se ukrajinskim marincima 2018. godine. Njegov se bataljun predao tijekom opsade Mariupolja u travnju, nakon što im je ponestalo hrane i streljiva.

Odveden je u samoproglašenu Narodnu Republiku Donjeck. Tamošnji sud ga je u lipnju osudio, kao i Pinnera, na smrt. Aslin je o tome rekao: "Tijekom svih pet mjeseci zatočeništva nisam mogao plakati. Kada sam čuo da sam osuđen na smrt, htio sam zaplakati, ali jednostavno nisam mogao. Bilo je samo pitanje kako ipak preživjeti. Vaš život je u rukama tih ljudi i radite ono što vam kažu ili ćete snositi posljedice."

Za razliku od Hrvata Vjekoslava Prebega, koji se borio na ukrajinskoj strani kada su ga zarobili Rusi pa je nedavno oslobođen u razmjeni - nakon čega nije detaljnije pričao o svom uzničkom iskustvu - jedan od britanskih zarobljenika koji je razmijenjen istom prilikom otkrio je više za The Sun.

Ispričao je i bizarne detalje poput onog da su ga Rusi tjerali da sluša ABBA-u i Cher na "repeat". Shaun Pinner, 48-godišnji vojni veteran, govorio je o tome kako je bio prisiljen slušati glazbu 24 sata dnevno, osim što je bio izboden i podvrgnut elektrošokovima.

Dok je bio u zatočeništvu, kaže, stalno su mu puštali soundtrack filma "Mamma Mia", a za jelo su mu davali samo stari kruh i prljavu vodu. Nakon što je u lipnju osuđen na smrt, zajedno s još jednim britanskim borcem premješten je u drugi zatvor, gdje se glazbena tortura nastavila. "Uvjeti su bili bolji, ali su i dalje puštali glazbu - a ovaj put je to bio Believe od Cher", rekao je za The Sun. “Imali smo puno crnih dana i mnogo sam plakao. Morali smo se uhvatiti za neki tračak nade..."

Pinner je dio skupine stranih zatvorenika oslobođenih nakon što je Saudijska Arabija posredovala u tajnom dogovoru između Rusije i Ukrajine. Sad, doma u Engleskoj, ispričao je novinarima: "Mislio sam da ću umrijeti. Bio je to pakao na zemlji. Proteklih šest mjeseci bili su najgori dani u mom životu. Nikad više ne želim slušati neku pjesmu grupe ABBA ili vidjeti štrucu kruha. Tako sam sretan što sam kod kuće."

Njegov suborac Aiden Aslin ispričao je kako su ga tukli, izboli nožem i tjerali da sluša sovjetske borbene pjesme u maloj ćeliji, 24 sata dnevno. "Nikad nisam mislio da ću izaći živ", rekao je. Ovaj 28-godišnjak iz Newarka pridružio se ukrajinskim marincima 2018. godine. Njegov se bataljun predao tijekom opsade Mariupolja u travnju, nakon što im je ponestalo hrane i streljiva.

Odveden je u samoproglašenu Narodnu Republiku Donjeck. Tamošnji sud ga je u lipnju osudio, kao i Pinnera, na smrt. Aslin je o tome rekao: "Tijekom svih pet mjeseci zatočeništva nisam mogao plakati. Kada sam čuo da sam osuđen na smrt, htio sam zaplakati, ali jednostavno nisam mogao. Bilo je samo pitanje kako ipak preživjeti. Vaš život je u rukama tih ljudi i radite ono što vam kažu ili ćete snositi posljedice."

Za razliku od Hrvata Vjekoslava Prebega, koji se borio na ukrajinskoj strani kada su ga zarobili Rusi pa je nedavno oslobođen u razmjeni - nakon čega nije detaljnije pričao o svom uzničkom iskustvu - jedan od britanskih zarobljenika koji je razmijenjen istom prilikom otkrio je više za The Sun.

Ispričao je i bizarne detalje poput onog da su ga Rusi tjerali da sluša ABBA-u i Cher na "repeat". Shaun Pinner, 48-godišnji vojni veteran, govorio je o tome kako je bio prisiljen slušati glazbu 24 sata dnevno, osim što je bio izboden i podvrgnut elektrošokovima.
