Četiri pomoraca, koja su mjesecima zarobljena na brodu bez plaće te u sve gorim životnim uvjetima, uz pomoć Međunarodne federacije transportnih radnika (ITF) zaplijenili su teretni brod u luci Dakar u Senegalu, prenosi pomorac.hr.

Ova drama traje već godinu dana tijekom kojih lučke vlasti ignoriraju apele posade koji je pretrpio havariju stroja na sidrištu u blizini luke Dakar.

ITF se u ime posade obratio senegalskom sudu kako bi brod konačno bio zakonski zaplijenjen, budući da zbog trenutne pozicije ovog onesposobljenog broda u blizini prometnog plovnog puta postoji velika opasnost za živote posade ovog teretnjaka, ali i drugih brodova u blizini, posebno noću.

Plovilo ostaje zaplijenjeno dok vlasnik ne isplati više od 84.000 američkih dolara za plaće napuštenoj posadi. To znači da vlasnik ne može koristiti brod dok se dugovi ne podmire.

ITF također traži da vlasnik podmiri i ostale troškove, obzirom da je brod na sidrištu dulje vrijeme bez odgovarajućih uvjeta za posadu, što je brodovlasnik dužan osigurati prema Konvenciji o radu pomoraca i ugovorima. ITF je u nekoliko navrata osigurao namirnice za posadu, koja je bila na rubu gladovanja i koja ne može napustiti brod dok traje spor, piše fleetmon.com.

Četiri pomoraca, koja su mjesecima zarobljena na brodu bez plaće te u sve gorim životnim uvjetima, uz pomoć Međunarodne federacije transportnih radnika (ITF) zaplijenili su teretni brod u luci Dakar u Senegalu, prenosi pomorac.hr.

Ova drama traje već godinu dana tijekom kojih lučke vlasti ignoriraju apele posade koji je pretrpio havariju stroja na sidrištu u blizini luke Dakar.

ITF se u ime posade obratio senegalskom sudu kako bi brod konačno bio zakonski zaplijenjen, budući da zbog trenutne pozicije ovog onesposobljenog broda u blizini prometnog plovnog puta postoji velika opasnost za živote posade ovog teretnjaka, ali i drugih brodova u blizini, posebno noću.

Plovilo ostaje zaplijenjeno dok vlasnik ne isplati više od 84.000 američkih dolara za plaće napuštenoj posadi. To znači da vlasnik ne može koristiti brod dok se dugovi ne podmire.

ITF također traži da vlasnik podmiri i ostale troškove, obzirom da je brod na sidrištu dulje vrijeme bez odgovarajućih uvjeta za posadu, što je brodovlasnik dužan osigurati prema Konvenciji o radu pomoraca i ugovorima. ITF je u nekoliko navrata osigurao namirnice za posadu, koja je bila na rubu gladovanja i koja ne može napustiti brod dok traje spor, piše fleetmon.com.

Četiri pomoraca, koja su mjesecima zarobljena na brodu bez plaće te u sve gorim životnim uvjetima, uz pomoć Međunarodne federacije transportnih radnika (ITF) zaplijenili su teretni brod u luci Dakar u Senegalu, prenosi pomorac.hr.

Ova drama traje već godinu dana tijekom kojih lučke vlasti ignoriraju apele posade koji je pretrpio havariju stroja na sidrištu u blizini luke Dakar.

ITF se u ime posade obratio senegalskom sudu kako bi brod konačno bio zakonski zaplijenjen, budući da zbog trenutne pozicije ovog onesposobljenog broda u blizini prometnog plovnog puta postoji velika opasnost za živote posade ovog teretnjaka, ali i drugih brodova u blizini, posebno noću.

Plovilo ostaje zaplijenjeno dok vlasnik ne isplati više od 84.000 američkih dolara za plaće napuštenoj posadi. To znači da vlasnik ne može koristiti brod dok se dugovi ne podmire.

ITF također traži da vlasnik podmiri i ostale troškove, obzirom da je brod na sidrištu dulje vrijeme bez odgovarajućih uvjeta za posadu, što je brodovlasnik dužan osigurati prema Konvenciji o radu pomoraca i ugovorima. ITF je u nekoliko navrata osigurao namirnice za posadu, koja je bila na rubu gladovanja i koja ne može napustiti brod dok traje spor, piše fleetmon.com.
