Ministar vanjskih poslova Tuvalua je, u video poruci koja će se prikazati na klimatskoj konferenciji Ujedinjenih naroda u Glasgowu, održao govor stojeći do koljena u moru da bi tako ukazao na gorući problem - njegova pacifička otočna država na prvoj je liniji ugroženih klimatskim promjenama.

Društvene mreže vrlo su brzo preplavile fotografije Simona Kofea koji u odijelu i s kravatom te podvrnutih nogavica stoji za govornicom postavljenom u moru, želeći na taj način skrenuti pozornost na borbu Tuvalua protiv porasta razine mora.

U video poruci Kofe je ukazao na realne životne situacije s kojima se suočava ta druga najmanja otočna država na svijetu zbog klimatskih promjena i porasta razine mora te je istaknuo koje odvažne akcije poduzimaju vlasti da bi se uhvatile u koštac s vrlo hitnim pitanjem mobilnosti stanovnika u uvjetima klimatskih promjena.

Video je snimila javna televizija TVBC na Fongafaleu, otočiću na kojemu se nalazi glavni grad Funafuti, a trebao bi biti prikazan u utorak na samitu o klimi koji se održava u Glasgowu.

Snimljen je u vrijeme kada regionalni čelnici traže agresivnije djelovanje kojim bi se ograničio utjecaj klimatskih promjena.
Mnogi veliki zagađivači obećali su da će intenzivirati napore na smanjenju emisije ugljikova dioksida tijekom predstojećih desetljeća, a nekima je krajnji cilj nulta neto emisija do 2050.

No čelnici pacifičkih otoka zatražili su hitnu akciju, istaknuvši da je u pitanju opstanak nižih dijelova ove otočne države.

Ministar vanjskih poslova Tuvalua je, u video poruci koja će se prikazati na klimatskoj konferenciji Ujedinjenih naroda u Glasgowu, održao govor stojeći do koljena u moru da bi tako ukazao na gorući problem - njegova pacifička otočna država na prvoj je liniji ugroženih klimatskim promjenama.

Društvene mreže vrlo su brzo preplavile fotografije Simona Kofea koji u odijelu i s kravatom te podvrnutih nogavica stoji za govornicom postavljenom u moru, želeći na taj način skrenuti pozornost na borbu Tuvalua protiv porasta razine mora.

U video poruci Kofe je ukazao na realne životne situacije s kojima se suočava ta druga najmanja otočna država na svijetu zbog klimatskih promjena i porasta razine mora te je istaknuo koje odvažne akcije poduzimaju vlasti da bi se uhvatile u koštac s vrlo hitnim pitanjem mobilnosti stanovnika u uvjetima klimatskih promjena.

Video je snimila javna televizija TVBC na Fongafaleu, otočiću na kojemu se nalazi glavni grad Funafuti, a trebao bi biti prikazan u utorak na samitu o klimi koji se održava u Glasgowu.

Snimljen je u vrijeme kada regionalni čelnici traže agresivnije djelovanje kojim bi se ograničio utjecaj klimatskih promjena.
Mnogi veliki zagađivači obećali su da će intenzivirati napore na smanjenju emisije ugljikova dioksida tijekom predstojećih desetljeća, a nekima je krajnji cilj nulta neto emisija do 2050.

No čelnici pacifičkih otoka zatražili su hitnu akciju, istaknuvši da je u pitanju opstanak nižih dijelova ove otočne države.

Ministar vanjskih poslova Tuvalua je, u video poruci koja će se prikazati na klimatskoj konferenciji Ujedinjenih naroda u Glasgowu, održao govor stojeći do koljena u moru da bi tako ukazao na gorući problem - njegova pacifička otočna država na prvoj je liniji ugroženih klimatskim promjenama.

Društvene mreže vrlo su brzo preplavile fotografije Simona Kofea koji u odijelu i s kravatom te podvrnutih nogavica stoji za govornicom postavljenom u moru, želeći na taj način skrenuti pozornost na borbu Tuvalua protiv porasta razine mora.

U video poruci Kofe je ukazao na realne životne situacije s kojima se suočava ta druga najmanja otočna država na svijetu zbog klimatskih promjena i porasta razine mora te je istaknuo koje odvažne akcije poduzimaju vlasti da bi se uhvatile u koštac s vrlo hitnim pitanjem mobilnosti stanovnika u uvjetima klimatskih promjena.

Video je snimila javna televizija TVBC na Fongafaleu, otočiću na kojemu se nalazi glavni grad Funafuti, a trebao bi biti prikazan u utorak na samitu o klimi koji se održava u Glasgowu.

Snimljen je u vrijeme kada regionalni čelnici traže agresivnije djelovanje kojim bi se ograničio utjecaj klimatskih promjena.
Mnogi veliki zagađivači obećali su da će intenzivirati napore na smanjenju emisije ugljikova dioksida tijekom predstojećih desetljeća, a nekima je krajnji cilj nulta neto emisija do 2050.

No čelnici pacifičkih otoka zatražili su hitnu akciju, istaknuvši da je u pitanju opstanak nižih dijelova ove otočne države.
